This is a comfortable holiday house for seven people in Male Svatonovice, near the Giant Mountains (Krkonoše). It is an ideal starting point for hikes, bicycle tours, cross-country skiing and skiing. It affords one of the most beautiful views of town, which has direct train connections to Prague.

The house is on a site of around 5000m² and is completely fenced. There is a sitting area up in the garden, which has fruit trees that you are allowed to pick fruit from. There is a terrace with garden furniture, by the bedroom, which also has a grill and an outdoor shower. As the house is on a hill, on the edge of town, it has a long access driveway, which you can drive up in first gear. If it has been raining or there is snow, it is unfortunately not accessible by car, but can park your car at the bottom and walk up, about 50 metres. There are parking spaces at the top for three cars. The house is not suitable for wheelchair users.

You enter the house through the hallway, where you can store skis and jackets in winter. The ground floor has two bedrooms, one with a double bed (140 x 200cm), with access to the terrace, while the other has three single beds (90x 200cm). There are also two children’s beds. Bed linen is provided, as well as cloths, tea towels, hand towels etc., so you do not need to bring anything. The ground floor also has a games room with table football, darts and other games. The first floor has a WC, a new kitchen with a dining corner, storage cupboards, fridge, freezer compartment, microwave, coffee machine, toaster, kettle and other useful items. The hallway on the first floor leads to the living room, affording a beautiful view. The living room has a wood-burning stove. Firewood is provided free of charge. The living room also has a TV, wireless Internet access and a CD/DVD player. From here you can access a bedroom with a double bed (140 x 200cm). There is also a bathroom on this floor with a WC and two washbasins.

Down in town, near the driveway, there is a cosy restaurant, where you can enjoy a good meals and a drink on the day of arrival. The local tipple in the Czech Republic is Becherovka. Male Svatonice is a little place of pilgrimage, with a fountain with healing water right in the middle. People come from afar to fill canisters with the free water. You can buy everyday essentials here and for large shopping trips you can go to Upice, about 4km away, and Trutnov, about 14km away. There are many old villages and towns in the surroundings. Adrspach is nearby, a lovely nature reserve with ancient rocks and menhirs. There are hiking maps in the house.
