250 km north of Rovaniemi, near the Raattamaa in village of Ylikyrö, in Pallastunturi by lake Vuontisjärvi. Lake Vuontisjärvi (length of 1.7 km, width of 1.2 km), 25 m to the beach, which is steep, hard bottom, own boat.

The robust log house Villa Aurinkotuuli is situated in a tranquil location in the Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park, 250 km north of Rovaniemi, near Raattama village in Ylikyrö. It sits on a hill in front of lake Vuontisjärvi, offering breathtaking views with arctic hills. If you get lucky, you might even see some Northern Lights through the big windows.

The spacious and bright log house consists of two apartments and a sauna cabin. The apartments have their own entrances, and there is a covered and glassed-in terrace between the apartments with a pizza oven/fireplace. Both apartments are included in the price.

The large apartment: lounge with two sofa beds and a fireplace, open concept kitchen with both induction and gas stoves, dining area for 8-10 persons. Master bedroom with a motorized double bed and ensuite bathroom (toilet & shower). Second bedroom with a sofa bed. Bathroom (toilet & shower) right next to the second bedroom. Utility room with a washing machine and a drying cabinet. There is air conditioning and an air-source heat pump in the apartment.

The smaller apartment: Open concept living room & kitchen with a sofa bed and a fireplace. Sleeping nook with a double bed. Dining table for six persons. Toilet. Sauna and showers are connected to the smaller apartment. There is air-conditioning in the apartment.

Sauna: Electric sauna heater in a spacious sauna, washroom with rain showers and handheld showers, dressing room with an extra bunk (can be extended to fit two persons).

There is an outdoor fireplace in the yard. Toboggans and two sets of snowshoes available for use for the quests.

Lake Vuontisjärvi has a hard bottom and a length of 1.7 km and width of 1.2 km. The lake is only 25 meters away from the building, and there is a steep descent to the beach.

Ski trail runs right beside the villa. Raattama village 7 km, where there is a shop, a restaurant, a riding stable and a reindeer farm. Pallas Ski Resort 34 km, Pallastunturi Nature Centre 34 km.
