Here you can enjoy a relaxing stay at Buitengoed Fredesheim in Steenwijk - De Bult. On an estate of no less than 14 hectares and on the border of Overijssel, Friesland and Drenthe are 7 beautiful and spacious vacation homes. This house with infrared sauna is tastefully and comfortably furnished and fully equipped, including WiFi, flat screen TV, dishwasher and microwave. The house is suitable for up to 6 people and offers a lot of privacy due to the wooded area. On the first floor there is a bedroom and a bathroom with shower and bathtub. The other two bedrooms and the infrared sauna are on the second floor.



In the middle of the three provinces Overijssel, Friesland and Drenthe you will find forests, heath land, water and characteristic fortified towns and authentic villages. Visit Giethoorn, "the Venice of the North", with its charming houses and many canals or stroll through the shopping streets of Steenwijk and discover the special stores and atmospheric terraces. Are you a real nature lover? Then a visit to the "Dwingelderveld National Park" is not to be missed. Various hiking and biking trails will lead you along magnificent viewpoints and bird watching walls.

Umgebung schön, aber..
Zunächst einmal zur Umgebung: Das Haus und die ganze Hotelanlage liegt quasi mitten im Wald. Die Nachbarhäuser sind weit genug entfernt, sodass man seine Ruhe haben kann. Vor dem Haus gibt es eine große Wiese, wo man mit Kindern/Freunden/Hund verschiedenen Aktivitäten nachgehen kann. Die Wiese ist richtig groß und wird auch von anderen Anwesenden rege genutzt. Das Haus selbst ist bereits in die Jahre gekommen. Die Ausstattung ist ok, aber eben schon lange nicht mehr neu und teilweise müsste erneuert werden. Die Reinigung war nicht besonders gut. Die Teller und Besteck waren teilweise verdreckt. Staub und Spinnennetze fast überall. Es wird also nur wischiwaschi oberflächlich gereiningt. Die Sanitäranlagen sind gefühlt aus der Steinzeit. Im ganzen Haus gibt es nur Einzelbetten mit sehr weichen Matratzen. Rückenschmerzen inklusive. Selbst im Elternzimmer kein Doppelbett, sondern nur zwei Einzelbetten, die zusammengestellt sind. Insgesamt haben wir für das Haus viel zu viel bezahlt. Ok, in der Hauptsaison und wegen Corona mag das ok sein, ist aber trotzdem das Geld nicht wert gewesen (ca. 220€/Nacht). Und was angebracht wäre sind die Insektennetze an den Fenstern und Gartentür. Im Sommer, wenn es richtig warm wird, kann man gar nicht mit offenen Fenstern schlafen, weil es sehr viele Mücken im Wald gibt. Mal von Spinnen abgesehen. Übrigens obwohl angegeben, dass der Veranstalter Deutsch kann, stimmt nur zum Teil. Die Reservierung und die ganzen Infos zur Anreise usw bekommt man auf Deutsch. Bei der Schlüsselabholung im Hotel muss man Englisch sprechen(was auch ok ist), aber die sonstigen Infos (Broschüren) bekommt man nur auf Holländisch. Also alles in Allem. Die Umgebung ist schön, idyllisch und ruhig. Das Haus ist zu teuer gewesen und hat uns leider nicht gefallen.
