The big holiday house is in the centre of the beautiful little holiday town of Daun, very close to many places of interest and trip destinations. A separate entrance leads from the street via the terrace into the house.

The house is a combination of two holiday apartments. The house is spread over four floors and can accommodate up to 12 people. It has five separate double bedrooms. There is a small additional apartment on the upper floor, accessed up a spiral staircase. There are three living and sleeping rooms, each with a double sofa bed. The lower area has a dining corner with an extendable dining table for all guests, with a second dining corner on the upper floor. The house has a total of four HD TVs, one in each living room and one in the upstairs bathroom. There are also four DVD player, a CD player, radios and USB ports in the three living rooms and three bathrooms. The bathrooms provide a total of two baths, two showers and two WCs, as well as an additional shower and washing facilities on the lower floor. There are two kitchens, equipped with a dishwasher (upstairs), two microwaves, four coffee machines (two pads, two filter), two toasters and two kettles. One kitchen also has a dishwasher. Pots and pans, cutlery and crockery for all guests are provided. Children’s beds and highchairs can be provided free of charge. Wireless Internet access is available for a fee. A sauna for sole use awaits you in the basement.

The outdoor area features a ca. 45m² terrace with a grill and garden furniture. The terrace is on the sunny side of the house and on the front side it borders the vibrant street and pavement, with a little municipal park on the side. Owing to the central location of the house, the terrace is enclosed with a fence and hedges. A quiet garden area with lawn, seating, 2nd grill, fountain and a children's play tower (2 swings, slide, sandpit) is also behind the house and can be used. The house and the outdoor area are illuminated attractively in the evening and at night with a play of LED colours. The house has three parking spaces, in a garage, in front of the garage and on an outdoor parking area on the neighbouring site, which can be used free of charge.

There are many places of interest and leisure facilities within a few minutes’ walk. You can go shopping, visit restaurants, cafés, the cinema, wellness facilities and an indoor pool just around the corner. You can find a big children’s playground a big supermarket and three bakeries (also open on Sundays) about 100 to 150 metres away. You can visit the lovely Kurpark in Daun or the Wehrbüsch hiking area with connections to the maars (600 to 700 metres away). The quaint little regional town of Daun, with about 7500 inhabitants, lies at around 400 to 500 metres above sea level. Daun is considered the centre of the Volcanic Eifel. It is idyllically situated and an excellent starting point for many trips. It is just 2-4km to the Daun lakes. You can go swimming, boating, fishing and other water sports. The Daun animal and leisure park and the adjoining summer toboggan run is only about 2km away and it is about 18km to the world-famous Nürburgring motor sports arena. One of the most beautiful cycle paths in Germany, the Maare-Moselle cycle path (a former railtrack to the Moselle) starts and ends in Daun. You can hire bicycles in Daun for a good price. The popular tourist town of Daun has the Vulkanmuseum, an indoor pool, many little shops and good restaurants, inviting you to visit them. The Moselle is not far away. It is recommended to go on a trip to Cochem, Traben-Trarbach, Bernkastel or Trier, the oldest town in Germany. The other nearby countries, Luxembourg, Belgium and France, are also worth a visit. The world-famous Nürburgring with many events and leisure facilities is very popular among visitors. Or you can visit one of the countless castles in the region. Other trip destinations include various animal parks, the Sternwarte observatory, a bell foundry, a honey farm, the Vulkanmuseum in Daun, the Maarmuseum in Manderscheid, geological excursions, an adventure park, a visit to the Eifel nature reserve. The Eifel is famous for its artists and authors, especially the successful Eifel criminal stories. The “Tatort Eifel” festival attracts many visitors to Daun and the region. The Volcanic Eifel is a true hiking paradise. Two famous hiking trails are the Lieserpfad and the Eifelsteig.
