This is a 2 bedroom 2 bath unit with FREE WI-FI--ELECTRIC FIREPLACE--3 FLAT SCREEN TV'S--BLUE RAY PLAYER--NEWLY REMODELED-- NEW COMFORTABLE PILLOWTOP MATTRESS KING SIZE BED IN MASTER- PILLOWTOP QUEEN IN GUEST ROOM offer you a good night's sleep after a busy day. Coffee pot, frozen drink maker, blender, griddle for making those delicious pancakes, pots, pans,& all kitchen utensils, iron & ironing board, 2 hair dryers, microwave and board games. Window seat to sit and enjoy view of Mt LeConte full of extra blankets and pillows.
We are on second floor with NO elevator available.
We have made this condo cozy & comfortable with cabin decor at a value price. Just 3.5 miles from Gatlinburg and minutes from Ober Gatlinburg. High Chalet is 3200 ft above Sea Level and is the highest complex in Tennessee. High Chalet ofers you a veiw of downtown lights as well as surrounding beauty of forest.
You may catch a glimpse of numerous wild life in area.
High Chalet has great outdoor areas including seasonal pool, 2 hot tubs, sauna, game room, picnic tables, gas grills with gas furnished, hiking trail and green areas. Really nice green areas all around the complex.

Extremely helpful, informative manager.
You can go out Cambell Lead Rd to bypass and be in Pigeon Forge in minutes where you can enjoy: Dollywood, Dollywood Splash Country, numerous live shows, laser tag, go carts, goofy golf, large outlet mall, restaurants.....
Bass Pro is at corner of I40/66
Apple Barn where you can shop and eat is located in Pigeon Forge as well as WalMart, Lowes & other chain stores.
Downtown Gatlinburg offers quaint shops from candy to clothing as well as many restaurants and hillbilly golf.
Downtown is perfect for walking and enjoying the ambiance. You can jump on a trolley to go to Pigeon Forge if you don't want to deal with driving so you can enjoy scenery.
Ski Mountain Rd leads you to the edge of town to go into Great Smokey Mountain National Park & downtown Gatlinburg.
Stop at Sugarland Welcome Center on your way into park to find information on all the hiking trails(one of our favorite things to do).

Getaway

This property is at the peak of ski road and was too windy, narrow and no guardrails. I wish I had known before booking. Property was clean but older and outdated but nice decorations.

Amazing getaway

A National Park Weekend

Had a great long weekend staying at this property while exploring Smokey Mountain NP. Very nice, quiet property with all you need and close to both the National Park and Gatlinburg. Had a wonderful stay!

Great Stay!

Great property in Gatlinburg. Location wise being able to utilize the bypass helped us avoid traffic during the busy Christmas season! The condo is at the top of the mountain, but the roads were salted and we had no problems and enjoyed the snow the lower mountain didn’t get! We enjoyed the view of the ski slopes. The unit itself was perfect for our family of four. Plenty of space. Very clean. All the kitchen equipment we needed to make several meals. Would definitely stay here again!

Cozy Condo

We enjoyed our short stay with our family. The Condo was perfect for all our needs. The beds were comfortable, kitchen fully stocked as well. The views of the mountains were pretty. Communication was superb and very helpful. We look forward to coming again soon.

Exceptional Property

Everything was great. Condo was very clean, comfortable and well furnished. The property is exceptionally located about as high up as you can get, but it’s well worth the drive. And if you enjoy peace and quiet, this is the place for you.

Great Stay

We had a great time on our trip! My GPS took us the very curvy way to the property-which scared the crap out of me! LOL Following directions from Sarah was much better! The condo was exactly as advertised, very clean & a nice place! The hosts were great & answered all of my questions quickly! We had a great time exploring Gatlinburg & hanging out at the pool.

Fun family trip

The condo had everything we needed for our 5 days family trip. It was very clean and no sign of being worn out. It has enough room for everyone to relax and sleep. Also the den is large enough for 5 of us to sit and watch movies together. The kitchen has all the things you would need to cook and eat. We had a hick up using the dryer outside of the condo. It did not accept the quarters we passed. Out of 7, only 3 were chosen :) So if you are going to use the drier, you bring a lot of quarters. We ended up drying our laundry in the balcony, which was perfectly fine because no humid outside. Everything was dry over night. That is an option if your quarters are not lucky ones. Also the road that climbs up to the condo is steep and wiggly. Summer is no problem but for winter I am not sure how a car would go up there. Just make sure you have a 4x4 car to be on the safe side. Overall we had a great experience.

Cozy stay, clean lodge-like property

We really enjoyed our stay. It was the right size for my husband and I, and our 3 kids who are 10 and under. Fully furnished, kitchen had all necessary small appliances available; we even used the vacuum and broom almost every day. My only criticism is the need for a high chain lock or deadbolt of some kind to help keep small children from running out of the complex since there are bears and other wildlife roaming the complex. I have expressed this to the owner too and they’re considering adding this feature. Owners are extremely responsive and easy to communicate with. We appreciated all of their efforts and correspondence. Bring things like foil, sandwich bags, paper towels, dishwasher pods, sponge, and other toiletries that are regular needs for your daily kitchen and household needs.

Good Location

The condo worked out nicely for our trip. The location is quiet and secluded, but only 10 minutes downhill to Gaitlinburg or the Smokeys and 15 minutes using the bypass to Pigeon Forge. The communication with the owners on a couple of check in questions was quick. The first trip up the hill will have you wondering if you passed the place, but just keep driving. You will get there. Once you are familiar with the route, it is very easy.

Our overall experience staying at this property was good. We were pleased with the location and the view. It was a bit of a trek up the mountain but it was worth it. Would recommend to others.

Beautiful views

The views were beautiful and having a small balcony was nice, tastefully decorated. The first thing is the door from the living room to the balcony was broken and with a bear recently entering a man's house and killing him this was very unnerving. The coffee maker(keurig) was not working thank God there was a regular one that we could open up the kcups and make it work. The hot tub was not in service while we were there. FyI if you are unfamiliar with mountain driving stay somewhere else. This is a hike to gatlinburg and there is no users available. Wish I would've known how far you actually are . Make sure u have everything you need before going up.

Gorgeous spot high above Gaitlinburg

Property is located high on the mountain overlooking Gaitlinburg. Gorgeous location, but it does take about 15 minutes to drive the steep, curvy, roads into town. Hot tub was amazing after hiking during the day. Condo is nice, well appointed, and comfortable. You can hear other renters, especially above, but we loved this spot. Thank you!

We are Dale & Lynn Kennedy. we live in a rural area called Varnado, LA. We live 60 miles north of New Orleans. We are the parents of 2 and Grandparents of 7. 6 boys and 1 princess. We enjoy outdoor activities. We have always enjoyed the Gatlinburg area with our children and now our Grandchildren.
We love making memories through travel with our family and want others to be able to do same thing. We purchased this property with the thought of keeping it affordable for everyone so they can make memories at a clean, safe and fun area.
