Agriturismo with its own wine and oil production and communal swimming pool in the Valdera area
The agriturismo is strategically located on a hill in the centre of Tuscany. It is situated in the small village of Alica, where you can almost breathe the history and culture and where you can enjoy the silence of Tuscany. From the top of the hill, you can see a panorama of the distinctive landscape from Pisa to Volterra, from the sea to the mountains. The apartments of the village offer the possibility to accommodate small groups, too.
The farm offers two accommodation possibilities. On the one hand, there are four finely renovated holiday apartments in a house dating from the 16th Century with many original features. On the other hand, guests also have the opportunity to stay in a residence, an old rectory dating from the 12th Century. This is about 100 metres away from the first building.
The estate has a large garden with a pool (6x13, 50; open from May to September) and sun terrace. Additionally, there is a spacious and bright conference room for meetings or meals in larger groups. Meetings of up to 30 people can be organised. A buffet can also be provided on the adjoining terrace (upon request). The terrace is equipped with garden furniture and sunshades.
On the terraces, in the swimming pool or even in the olive grove, you can enjoy relaxing, read a book, drink the wine produced here, or just laze around. Simply experience a nice, comfortable holiday in Alica.
The farm produces wine and olive oil. The wine is particularly prized as it comes from a native, rare variety of grape. On request, you can participate in sampling and tasting of own products.
The nearest shops (supermarket, pharmacy, café/ice cream stand etc.) are about 1.5km away. It is 10km to a swimming lake (with beach service) and the sea is 35km away. A special feature of this area are the five trekking routes (easy to intermediate), guaranteeing wonderful nature experiences. One of them starts near the accommodation. From Alica, it is a little more than 30 minutes to the most well-known towns such as Pisa, San Gimignano, Lucca, Volterra, the sea, the mountains, thermal spas and the golf courses dotted about the region.
The apartment has two floors: on the ground floor the spacious kitchen, in which there is also an extra bed, on the upper floor there are the bedroom and the bathroom, with shower and bidet. It has a dedicated space on the terrace, equipped with table, chairs and umbrella for outdoor dining. The private parking is in front of the house.The apartment has air conditioning in the bedroom. There is a meter dedicated only to air conditioner and the guests can check the consumption.
The ground floor is about 22 square meters there is the kitchen, equipped with hob, stove, microwave, kettle, coffee machine, dining corner and an additional bed.The photos reflect the bedroom, located on the upper floor, with a ceiling fan, effective for nighttime refreshment.
Swimming pool 6 x 13 meters, equipped with garden furniture, shared with the other guests of the structure, where anti-Covid safety measures are respected. Even the outdoor space dedicated to this apartment respects the safety distances. The property is fenced.

In the surroundings there are also numerous wine producers and it is possible to visit their cellars. We ourselves produce organic wine and oil.
