About this property

Love Nest: Gorgeous Mountain View - Brand New Hot Tub - Luxury Resort Cabin

- ALL ADVERTISED "2 BEDROOM CABINS" features an enclosed (PRIVATE) bedroom on the main floor and an open loft (NOT PRIVATE) second bedroom upstairs sharing the floor with the game area. In other words, the king bed located in the open loft floor is considered the "second bedroom"; please understand, one out of the two bedrooms in this cabin does not contain a door that allows for any privacy from the rest of the floor.
- Not a secluded cabin. Due to being located in a resort setting, there are neighboring cabins to be mindful of.
- Decks overlook the community resort playground and pavilion area
- Cabins are easily accessible year-round as the roads are well maintained by the resort staff to provide stress-free travel to all guests. The resort features inclined roads that are paved, wide, and do not require special vehicles or four-wheel drive to navigate, however, should a four-wheel drive vehicle be accessible to you, it would benefit our guests to drive that vehicle when visiting during the winter months in case of snowfall, to be able to access other parts of town comfortably.
- During Dollywood's hours of operation, you MAY be able to hear the Dollywood train horn sound off throughout the day.
- Offers an electric fireplace that is for ambiance purposes only. This fireplace is not advertised as a heating source for the cabin.
- Furnished with Aspen Log Furniture to provide that rustic, but luxurious cabin feel.
- Charcoal for the outdoor grill, kitchen spices/oils for preparing meals in the kitchen, coffee filters for the coffee maker, and clothes hangers for the closets are special items that we would like to point out that we do not provide to guests during their stay.

Great cabin, great location

As advertised. Cozy cabin near all of the pigeon forge attractions. Great place for families with young children. There is a playground just steps away.

Disappointed

Disappointing Cabin. The size is quite smaller than the pictures depicted. The sofa was quite uncomfortable and cheap. The fake fireplace was as fake as it gets. There were NO Holiday decorations, in fact there were little to no decorations at all. Very boiler plate small cabin. It was clean and in an ok location, but the most disappointing thing was to find out ( from a sign on many cabins) that had I walked up and booked, I probably could have gotten the cabin for over 3 TIMES less tan we paid. Good for you, bad for us. Normally I don’t complain about such things, but coming to Pigeon Forge at Christmas time is beautiful and fun. But the cabin was so mis-Represented in the photos, it didn’t give us what we were expecting. No other complaints, but I don’t believe we will use outrageous cabins again.

Great cabin for family vacation

This was our first time staying in the area, and we couldn’t have been more happy with the “love nest” cabin. It was exactly as pictured online, and it worked out perfectly for our family. Upon arrival check in was quick and easy, and the instructions page with map of the neighboring cabins was helpful too. Cabin was neat and clean and the decor was perfect. My 9 year old son and 40 year old man child husband also liked the game room, it provided a lot of fun family time, that happened to have a breathtaking view too. If ever in the area again we would definitely want to stay here again.

Great Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. It is atop the Mt. with no one behind you and the views are amazing! We were only 10 minutes from the Ripken Experience but were far away from the crowds and traffic.

Great Place

The Love Nest was everything it's advertised as. It's location is very convenient to get to and very close to everything you might want to do. The old Atari game console brought back many childhood memories. I will definitely stay here again.

This is not a true 2 bedroom cabin but is gorgeous nonetheless

We have mixed feelings re this particular cabin (we’ve been multiple times to the are sowe do have ability to compare) so here we go: Pro’s: Close to town, easy drive, loved location Gorgeous cabin Good Mountain View’s (although don’t look side to side or down to see all other cabins within this community) Very comfortable king beds Washer/dryer Free WiFi a plus Very large modern flat screen TV’s Cons: Kitchen...bare minimum supplies, no ice maker, nor ice cube trays to even make ice so BRING YOUR OWN ICE No coffee filters...they did provide basket of condiments for coffee, they only provided complimentary decaf coffee packets Kitchen not well equipped for cooking...no measuring cups and absolutely no condiments such as salt/pepper etc so if you are staying and plan on cooking...bring absolutely everything you can need for your meals. No lounge blankets for living room area Hot tub located on upper level deck....leaks through floor therefore if you are on lower level deck you will get wet. Electric fireplace would make extremely loud noise and we had a couple times we tried to use and the loud noise would not stop so we just had to turn off. Spiral staircase...ugh not a fan. No Kleenex Ok the bedroom issue...this cabin has a huge open loft that they are calling the second bedroom...to me a bedroom has enclosed walls for privacy, this does not. At the end of the nice king bed, is a pool table and air hockey against the walls. Although those were fun to have, we didn’t like having the open floor plan and maybe it’s our fault for not reading the details closing enough when we book this particular cabin. Would we return to this particular cabin...NO Would we rent again from this company....YES if we can find different floor plan maybe with a rear west facing view to watch sunsets.

Very rude

This was the second time we stayed here. We stayed when we got married and came back this year November 2nd to renew our Wedding Vows. Everyone was great when we checked in, but checking out was another story. The cleaner came to harass us about being a little late checking out. When I go to the office realized I left our wedding cake. The smart Alec boy was asked to call the man at my cabin to bring my cake. Also forgot all bathroom shampoos, etc... He knew we were waiting at the office for my cake. He took it upon himself to disregard the request to bring my cake and took it to the dumpster behind the office and threw it away. Every employee at this point was very rude!!!! Yes I went through the dumpster to get my cake and it was in tact not touched by anything. The cabin was great except for a few things, paid a night to stay in a half a Million dollar cabin. The shower was stopped up, dinner plates chipped, pool sticks broken, ice maker broken and I also paid for the Love Package. They gave me trouble about keeping 2 stuffed hearts. I did not pay for a bottle of grape juice and to have roses thrown on the floor and put into a heart shape on the bed. The sight read “ if you don’t mind” we’ll i did mind, that was the least they could do for . They had my business for life at,The Love Nest , but after the way we were treated when leaving and an employee who was told to do something and out of spite throw my Wedding Cake away is unacceptable. They just lost a lot of money and word of mouth from us will not be good for Outrageous Cabins/Starr Crest Resort. We will find a nicer resort to stay when we go back next year. I am still planning to contact the owner and hope he makes this right with my family. The Richardsons

Cozy

We enjoyed our 3 night stay at this cozy cabin. The receptionist at the office was very friendly and directions & instructions were clear and easy to follow. The cabin is in a neighborhood of cabins, so there are neighbors on both sides but not too terribly close. The coded entry door was great, no key to keep up with. The cabin is a bit smaller than it appears in the photos and was mostly clean. The wall facing the street in the master bath was quite dusty, there were spiderwebs behind the blinds (this was also mentioned in a review from July) and there was quite a lot of hair in the shower drain and also in the drain upstairs. The hot tub still leaks onto the lower deck and the view is still partially blocked on the lower deck. The video game table doesn't work properly either, all of which were also mentioned in other reviews. We realize they may not be allowed to trim the trees, but the other issues should be addressed, especially since they've been mentioned previously. The kitchen has basic supplies, but could also use a liquid measuring cup and some dry measuring cups. Otherwise it was nicely furnished, though we didn't cook full meals in it. Thankfully we did not plan to grill, as it was rather small but better than nothing. Though we enjoyed our stay, our family of four we would opt for a larger cabin next time as this was a bit small for us. The kids did enjoy the pool table (which is in the upstairs bedroom). Noise was easily heard between rooms.

Perfect for a romantic getaway!

This cabin was beautiful, impeccably clean, had an incredible view and was close to everything, while being just enough removed. Even though there are several cabins around, it feels very private. Loved Love Nest and hope to come back soon!

Absolutely priceless!!!!

We stayed in the Love Nest and before we did, we read every single review. It was absolutely perfect. We knew in advance that the lower floor porch was covered due to tree growth, but that we did still have a mountain view from the top floor- hoping these trees can be trimmed a bit for the view- but the top floor had an amazing view- there is a cabin right next door- which has pretty much the same view without the tree growth. Knowing this beforehand, we were okay with that, because I love trees! :) It gives it a private feel although you are in a neighborhood of cabins. Everything was clean overall; only noticed vacuuming needed behind bed and on frames of windows behind blinds- (lots of spider webs- however, obviously we are in a cabin.. so not a big deal). But the rest of the cabin was very clean- no worries there! Wi-fi works; however, I wouldn't say it's the strongest in the world- but in some ways kind of a good thing to put the phone down. ;) The only thing we noticed was that the arcade game is not in best shape- you can barely see the screen to play because it's so dim. But, again, we weren't staying her for games. We had the best time here and usually stay at 4-5 star hotels- I was worried because I am more of a "glamper," however, this was priceless. We would go off to Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge and surrounding areas during the day and spend the late afternoon/evenings at the cabin. It was perfect. The kitchenette was just right for us and we were pleased to have a washer / dryer as well. Our favorite vacation to this date. We will be back for sure!!! I can imagine these cabins in the winter-amazing! The road to the cabin in steep but we wanted to be on a mountain, so there you go! This cabin faced the mountain area; we noticed other cabins in this area faced the valley area on the other side. We both agreed we chose the best side. We will be back- don't hesitate- you will love renting this cabin! It's perfect!

Beautiful cabin

Overall, this cabin was great. Very spacious upstairs with a lot of game options for the family. The hot tub jets were not working, so we called the office and the maintenance man came out later that day to fix it. It worked for a few hours and the next day they wouldn’t turn on again. The view was beautiful on the back patio, although there were 2 very tall trees that blocked a majority of the beautiful scenery. It would be nice if those could be trimmed back. Also, the hot tub leaked down to the lower level patio, so we weren’t able to sit down there. Overall, it was a great stay, but there were a few things that could be done that would make it fantastic!
