This 6,000 square foot Georgian Mansion on 2+ acres offers you the opportunity to relax, with four plus bedrooms, 3.5baths, renovated kitchen, great room, family room, 3 fireplaces, laundry room, pergola on side of house, and stone deck that runs the length of the back of the house, and landscaped terraced garden with Koi pond, two car garage. All this will provide the separation and relaxation needed on a daily basis. Just pack your toothbrush, we provide 400 thread count linens, towels, paper towels, Starbucks coffee, toilet paper, napkins. Easily sleeps 10. A/C in bedrooms only.

Indoor amenities include, wireless sound system which includes speakers through out the house as well as speakers in the outdoor deck. Netflix service provided on our 3 flat screen TVs. WiFi service provided. Fully stocked chefs kitchen, and eat in area as well as formal dining for 10 available. Foosball table, board games and outdoor games available. House has 1King bed, 2 queen beds, and 2 full size beds all with luxurious pillows and 400 thread count linens.

Outdoor amenities include new 40ft heated salt water pool, fire-pit, BBQ, outdoor table for eight, separate seating to just lounge around, private garden, and Koi pond.

We are located in the town of Saugerties within 2miles of the HITS show.

Hits Horse Show Trip

Beautiful home - very spacious, all information and pictures were accurate in the listing. The pool was fabulous after a hot day at the horse show! Hosts were very responsive and friendly.

Beautiful Home in Saugerties for Family Vacation

This house is wonderful. Roomy w/lots of architectural details that make this a special property & perfect for a family holiday. The wood floors are to die for if you are someone who appreciates that kind of thing! The salt water pool is oh so lovely but was a bit chilly for us. I requested a thermostat ++ & owners were very responsive & agreed but for an additional fee. It was completely worth it but a little expensive. We swam every day and it was heavenly. The pool could use some sun umbrellas as there is only a slice of shade for most of the day (but that did help the pool temp). The yard is very well maintained. There are Hydrangeas that were in full bloom and stunning. Bumble Bees and Humming Birds were frequent visitors. We ate almost every meal outside on the back patio. Bring bug spray as there are lots of mosquitos. The yard is very private and we only occasionally heard neighbors or noise. My only disappointment was that the kitchen wasn't clean upon arrival. The counters had crumbs, grease and food spills that required me scrubbing it all down. Additionally, the fridge was sticky inside requiring very hot water to clean it before stocking my fresh groceries. Also, the TV room had ashes in the fireplace and lots of dead insects in the corners of multiple room. Was this a deal breaker? Absolutely not, but it wasn't a good start of things. Also, please replace dead flat pillows. Towels/sheets great. Owners super nice! Everything else A+++.

Sumptuous space during COVID

The home was ample for our group that needed 5 bedrooms for a three night stay. Due to COVID, we did not want to go out in the evenings and were able to have a group together in the house without it being crowded. The house is quite elegant and was close to the HITS showgrounds and downtown Saugerties. The owners were available when I needed to ask a question. We hope to stay there again.

Memorial Weekend with the kids

We had a lovely weekend at this property. The house is very spacious and the pool was perfect for the hot weekend. The koi pond is very special, our kids loved feeding the fish. We will definitely be back!

Family post Covid reunion

We had not seen our entire family together in a year and a half due to the Covid Pandemic. With one son and his family in NYC and the other with us in Chicago we looked for a good location for all that could accommodate us all. This home was perfect. The home and grounds are large and well located for restaurants and activities in Saugerties and the surrounding area. It offered us all , ages 2 to 68, the opportunity for privacy and fun. We had everything we needed. The pool and Koi pond and grounds were beautiful and very private. A perfect location for all of us. It is a step into the serene past with all of the current amenities. After a unique and stressful year it was all we needed.

House with Historic Charm

We enjoyed our stay. It is a house with historic charm, a large property, and great location to town. All the rooms are rather large and spacious. The outdoor areas were our favorite and most used spaces during our stay. We did not get to utilize the pool (because it was too early in the season), but we would definitely come back in warmer months to stay. The host, Alfredo, is easy to communicate with and very helpful throughout the process.

Christmas at the brick house

We had a wonderful time at the brick house. Alfredo and Rafael were always available if we had any questions, they also helped to organize amenities and cleaning services for our long stay. The house has a great layout and is perfect for family gatherings and entertaining. The kitchen is fully stocked with all utensils, appliances and dining serving wear. We loved having two living rooms with two working fire places. On the 1st floor, the bedrooms are very spacious and the bathrooms recently renovated. The bedroom with the king bed lacked an armoire or closet but we made due as is. Overall we had a wonderful time at thie beautiful house and would love to come back during the summer. The house is also perfectly located from rhinebec, kingston, hudson, woodstock. Thanks you to the caring owners!

Big Old Charmer

Plenty of space inside and outside this authentic 100+ year old home. Easy walk to town and to the River. Well equip kitchen. Updated bathrooms. Good internet and many spots to spread out and work or play.

A Hidden Gem

A hidden gem located close to the water and town. One can spend endless hours admiring the grounds, lounging by the beautiful pool or escaping reality by the amazing koi pond. Rafael and Alfredo were perfect host, going out of there way to ensure our stay was perfect.

Relax in charm and elegance

Nothing is forgotten in this lovely home rental along the Hudson. It all begins with the owners, Alfredo and Rafael who are very accessible and happy to make recommendations or answer any questions you may have during your stay. The house strikes the perfect balance in that it provides a renovated kitchen and bathrooms while managing to maintain its historic charm. There is ample space both inside and out and it provides a variety of options for those who vacation here. Mornings can be spent relaxing by the most amazing koi pond we have ever seen. The owners provide koi food and this was an unexpected treat for our 6 year old who delighted in this ritual of feeding them. The outdoor patio and pool were a wonderful retreat during the hot days of summer. The pool was the perfect temperature and kept very clean. Weather permitting, we spent most of our time relaxing by the pool. The end of day was spent relaxing on the patio enjoying all of the birds and wildlife. The updated kitchen comes fully stocked with everything one might need. If cooking indoors isn’t your thing, they have a large grill on their stone patio. The kitchen has a double oven which is great for larger groups and a special bonus. Should your preference leave you indoors, you won’t be disappointed. There are multiple rooms to relax in or play games. A large dining table seats plenty and for our small family became the puzzle station on the few rain days that we did have. All of the bedrooms have very comfortable beds and bedding which can often be a concern when renting. No worries. It’s all covered here. The house is close to town and a short drive to Opus 40 which is a must see. The next time our travels bring us to this region we will definitely be sure to return to this fabulous rental.

Beautiful house and great hosts, highly recommend

We stayed at the house for a few weeks this spring with our extended family and 2 young kids. Everyone had a great time. The house is beautiful with many well thought out details throughout, such as heated bathroom floors and warm towel bars. Kitchen is well equipped with many different appliances, my 5 year old was ecstatic when he saw the icecream maker. The house also comes with a large backyard with a nice koi bond and fire pit, both kids spent countless hours running around in the yard, hangout by the bonfire, as well as feeding the fish. The owners are amazing and very responsive to our questions and requests. We felt very at home during our stay. Highly recommend it.

A great house for a family getaway with a huge (and heated) pool for all to enjoy

A huge and historic house with plenty of room for 3+ couples. We put the well-equipped kitchen to good use and enjoyed family-style dinners on the large outdoor patio. When the weather didn't cooperate, a large dining room was there to accommodate. Our family spent hours in the pool; it was definitely the highlight. Our host was easy to communicate with and went out of his way to make our stay memorable. As beautiful as the property was, it could use a little TLC. That is the only thing holding me back from awarding the trip five stars.

Charming Saugerties Home

We stayed at this Saugerties home as a family (8 adults, one toddler) for a cousin's wedding that was taking place at Diamond Mills. The home is very large and has a nice layout. 8 adults slept comfortably in this home (one couple slept in two full beds, but they wanted this because of their toddler in the room as well). The beds are comfortable, the four bathrooms are updated, and the location of the home is a three minute drive from Diamond Mills. There was enough space for the adults to relax comfortably. The hosts were friendly and responsive. If you have an active toddler, this may not be the best accommodation for you because of three steep wooden staircases. Our toddler knows how to open gates, so gates don't help us. Just something to keep in mind.

Beautiful and roomy old house in the heart of Saugerties, New York

We had a wonderful stay at this house right which is right in the heart of the lovely town of Saugerties which has great restaurants, shopping and is conveniently located near the Hudson River, Escopus, Woodstock, Opal 40, the Smoke House and Huckleberry Point. The house has plenty of space if you're a group: 4 large bedrooms, an incredibly spacious living room/dining area that keeps going and going, plenty of bathrooms, outdoor places to sit quietly and even a quality foosball table (which the kids loved). It is an old house with all the upstate charm you want (of course, with the great old vibe, expect the occasional window that doesn't open), but also with modern updates and tech (flat screen TVs, wireless speakers). The pool, which is heated, was beautiful and big enough for a real swim and there is ample outdoor patio space to relax out back (even a chill koi pond area down from the pool, which we didn't take advantage of due to the cloudy weather). We highly recommend a stay here.

Old world charm with modern amenities intersect in elegant surroundings !

If perfect is considered a "10" and skeptics believe "10" is just an ideal then call me idealistic! cause 9.999 isn't good enough.... It's a 10! Prior to our visit Rafael exhibited the highest levels of professionalism and courtesy to ensure that our stay would be nothing short of perfect (there goes that word again). My wife and I often escape for weekends and we often rent homes in various places nationally. We are sometimes accompanied by friends &/or family members. On this getaway we were joined by our two adult kids,brother in law and our good friends. The moment you enter the circular driveway the experience begins. It's as though from that point on the word mediocrity was never a part of your vocabulary. the regal hallway, great room, TV room, chandelier, decor and staircase, all scream majestic! The spacious and well appointed bedrooms were more than accommodating, they were inviting! As if that wasn't enough the back yard experience was breathtaking, from the pool,Koi pond and elaborate deck all nestled in a luscious green haven! Time does not permit covering all the wonderful surprises in this fantastic home,anyway I don't want to spoil it by giving away everything .... hint music system & kitchen.... my lips are sealed ..... To the skeptics, I say it's a "10".... Challenge your doubting nature indulge yourself in this experience!!! We'll be back! Dan & Soraya

Me and my brother happen to come across this property a while back when we first explored Saugerties for the first time and instantly were attracted to the property. We envisioned spending more time in the area and thought others would love to have this experience as well. Since then we have been able to restore this mansion to its original beauty.

What makes this property unique

Very close to town but secluded enough to have privacy. You will be able to not only enjoy our heated salt water pool but also our gardened Koi pond. From the comfort of any place in the yard you can enjoy all the birds and butterflies without having to go to a local park.
