Recently upgraded. Located in the beautiful upper canyon area. Has the feel of seclusion but is only a mile to midtown and 5 miles to the road to ski apache. The cabin includes a bedroom with a king size bed, a bedroom with a queen size bed and a downstairs bedroom with two sets of bunk beds. The dining room table can be expanded to seat 8 comfortably. The kitchen is fully stocked (except groceries). There are two very private decks - one off of the living room and one on the second floor off one bedroom - both have an amazing view of Sierra Blanca.
There are many large windows and even sitting in the living room or laying in bed upstairs you can see Sierra Blanca.
The benefit of this mountain retreat is being nestled in the pines while shops and restaurants are only a mile away.
There are ceiling fans in the living room and the two upstairs bedrooms. There are electric room heaters in all the bedrooms to provide comfort to individual preference in the winter. AC units upstairs and downstairs May - September.

Loved our stay in Ruidosa. This house was close to town in a quiet neighborhood with lots of deer, elk, and beautiful views. Very peaceful. Lots of room for my family. Easy contact to home owner for any questions we had. I would definitely recommend this home for your weekend get-a-way.
First time in Ruidoso and it was great! We will for sure be back! Mark was a great host. Everything was just as he said it was. No problems. Beautiful view! Thanks for sharing your home!
A quiet and relaxing place with a breathtaking view.
Our family enjoyed our stay! Check-in was easy as the property manager provided everything we needed via email and made himself available at anytime if needed. The place has been kept very clean. Highly recommend for the location, cleanliness, and the peace and quiet!
I was worried about it being summer, but it was more than cool enough (and I don't do well in heat). Every kitchen item I required was there (and I am an old person who actually cooks). All the items I have to bring at other cabins were unnecessary because they had them. The furniture was extremely comfortable - and I am a person with chronic pain so this says a lot. I slept better there than at home. I would definately recommend this cabin with the stunning view!!
My little family of three spent 7 glorious days in Ruidoso! We loved how quiet and breathtakingly beautiful the views and area was. The cabin is a great home base to cook meals, enjoy coffee and wine while looking out of the large windows! Mark was always available to us and so welcoming. Will definitely be back!
Excellent vacation. We loved how the wind would cry when it would pass through the wind. Would be awesome place to live. Also we had a very awesome neighbor. Ms/Mrs Marilyn. Wonderful experience all around. From Laredo Texas. Thanks to Mark.
The property was exactly as described. The view was AMAZING and the check in and out were really easy and communication with property owners was quick. Enjoyed our stay.
Mark, the owner, communicated well and was very responsive. The cabin is a bit dated but also has a cool retro feel. Yes, it could use a few updates but it’s extremely clean and comfortable. It feels like a mountain cabin instead of a subdivision tract home that happens to be in the mountains. And the view!! It’s amazing!! There’s a smart TV which made streaming easy on a rainy day. Wi-Fi is great. The kitchen has everything you need including some staples for cooking and the grill works well. The cabin feels secluded but it only takes about 4 minutes to get to the middle of town. We had a great time!
Pros:The views are absolutely breathtaking. What we enjoyed the most is how we felt secluded but the town of Ruidoso is just a few minutes away. We took a walk and met the lovely neighbors. The kids loved the wildlife around us. Plenty of room for our family of 8.
Cons: Family table is large but uncomfortable for a large family.
Overall furniture is dated. Musty smell is in the bed linens. Non smoking property but found a large bucket with a large amount of cigarette butts near the bbq grill.
Everything was beautiful. The Deer, Elk, Chipmunks, Wild Turkeys, even Wild Horses were awesome. This cabin was a wonderful place to stay. Close to town but far enough that it is beautiful.
My family enjoyed our weekend stay at this cozy cabin. Views were fabulous, location was great, and cabin was very clean.

Why they chose this property
We have always loved Ruidoso and found ourselves returning year after year to camp, hike or ski. We've even been to the horse races a couple of times. There is also a large casino that has many shows coming to it that is always worth a check. Ruidoso is a mixture of many things. There is something for everyone and it is enjoyable all year round.
What makes this property unique
When we saw this Lindel Cedar Home with its amazing views and large windows, we knew it was perfect for us and also to share as a vacation rental. It is the perfect getaway!
