The entrance is kitchen-living room, with large wooden table with 6 chairs, a good stove, fridge, freezer, microwave, television and radio-CD player. Sofa bed, large cupboard with pots and dishes. The bathroom has a shower, the sink, the toilet and bidet. The room is furnished with two single beds that can be also easily assembled, a large wardrobe in style, with linen and towels for the bathroom. The house is equipped with all modern facilities in order to make your stay as easy and enjoyable as possible. There is the possibility of accommodating 2 extra people on a sofa bed. When you arrive, you'll find the house in order and clean and you'll have just to enjoy your holiday. At the end of the stay please leave the dirty things on the table, nothing else to do. Città della Pieve is a medieval village surrounded by campaign. It 'a very good base for touring Umbria or Tuscany. At the same time you can experience the tranquillity and calm of the environment, and all the comforts and entertainment such as tennis, swimming pools, football, golf, discos. The apartment completely isolated from noise and pollution of the city, is ideal for those seeking relax and privacy. The house is situated within the medieval walls, in a quiet area but at the same time very close to the main shops and the most characteristic restaurants. Also the location is very well correlated to the most famous wine routes along which many farms and farms produce and sell their products at competitive prices. From the house our guests can reach by car all the interesting historic towns such as Perugia (40 min.), Orvieto (30 min), Roma (2 hours by car, but also easy by train, departing from the railway station of Chiusi). Nearby there are important spas and seaside resorts such as the baths of Chianciano Terme (30 min.), the baths of San Casciano with their volcanic sources (30 min.), the Trasimeno Lake (30 min.) with its beaches equipped for all water sports. The nearest village on the seaside is Montalto di Castro, at 1 hour 45 min. drive. If you want to drive a little bit more, you can reach the beautiful beaches of Argentario (Alberese beach is simply wonderful! You must leave your car in a parking and the shuttle will bring you to the beach passing through the bush.) During August in Città della Pieve is disputed the “Palio di San Rocco." For 10 consecutive days, the organizers of the festival wear the ancient medieval costumes and give life to old competitions between riders.
