Perfect getaway house on a great property. Everything went smoothly and the property manager was responsive. We hope to stay here again. Close enough to all things Round Top. 10/10!
Loved the house in the country. Round top is a nice little getaway.

A Great getaway
For our party of 3 this was a perfect, secluded and relaxing cottage. The kitchen was well stocked and the house was very well maintained. We enjoyed relaxing on the covered porches with a glass of wine. Wish we could have stayed longer.
Tracy’s home is the perfect place for a get away. Close enough to town for junk shopping but far enough aways to get away from it all. The record player and album collection was a bonus and time in the front porch bird watching in the best! Her house has everything you need/want. I can’t wait to go back!
So enjoyed our stay!! Very private, beautiful surroundings. The cabin had everything you need. Bed was super comfy!!! Only one washcloth but that was ok we just went to the Dollar General and bought some. We can't wait to come back!!

relaxed in Round Top
great place to get away from the hussle and bussle of the city. Close to all the great little shopping holes in Round Top, La Grange, Burton, Carmine and Giddings. Enjoyed the big front porch with glider and comfy sofa.
This property is more than what the pictures show. The location is isolated and very quiet. The house itself is perfectly decorated and very well appointed. Comfortable, cozy, relaxing.....a cup of coffee on the porch with the deer grazing around you kind of stay.

Sweet Nest
Most excellent place to stay. Hard to say it any other way. The pictures say a lot. Thanks to Ms. Walker for having such a nice place.
To celebrate my husband’s 75th birthday we chose a country stay near Round Top so we could also see some smaller Texas towns. We do this each birthday for the last few years! The little country cabin was perfectly located in the country but close enough to visit Round Top, La Grange, and Fayetteville. The cabin is country chic inside and out. The ten acres was freshly mowed and just a pleasure to be able to walk with our dogs. We enjoyed local eateries such as Hank’s Express in La Grange and Orsak’s Cafe in Fayetteville. The folks at the Round Top Rifle Association NYE Dance welcomed us as if we were locals. Very sweet people! We enjoyed the big screen TV to watch the bowl games on the first day of 2025. Whatever your reason for wanting a country stay this could really be your spot!!
We had a great stay at the cabin. We couldn’t turn on the porch lights without an extension cord. I would have brought one had I known. House was well equipped and we had a great time.
Beautiful property and a charming house! Peaceful and such a short drive to shopping Round Top & Warrenton. The lockbox on the gate was hard to open to access keys to the gate and the house and the water was on slightly warm for showers. It never was hot at anytime day of night even for the first person. Other than that it is a great little spot!

Great spot for R&R
We booked this little cabin in hopes of finding some peace, quiet, and rest away from the noise and congestion of Houston. It was exactly what we needed. Quiet, comfortable, and exceptionally clean. We had everything we needed for the weekend, but also enjoyed being a short drive to the grocery store and amenities in La Grange one direction and the wonderful shopping in Round Top the other direction. It also was great to be able to bring the dogs along for the trip. I would book this property again without hesitation.
Superb country location close to Round Top quiet peaceful plenty of room for dog to roam. Several negatives--advertised with twin bed in Loft however day of arrival received text with 10 rules one of which states "Ascending the steep stairs to the loft is prohibited"--entry to loft area not possible unless a billy goat. One wash cloth in total a bit strange. The grill was unusable it was not only dirty but covered in mouse droppings.we stayed for two weeks the lack of any broom vacuum or anything to clean with made things a bit difficult. Loved the area and location if the above addressed would rate much higher.
My favorite place to spend time was the hammock beneath the oak treees. My dog loved being a porch pup and having free reign of the property (though honestly he preferred not to stray too far from the air conditioning). It was completely secluded but only a short drive from the grocery store and downtown Round Top (which was lovely). Would definitely return and would recommend this stay.
It’s a wonderful clean peaceful place to come and relax!
We are so sad to say goodbye to what we called our home away from home. We are moving out of state, to everyone this is such a Beautiful place to stay! Tracy is so awesome! She goes beyond to help make your stay comfortable. We will miss her so so much! Love you Tracy!!!!
Cabin on secluded acreage was very private. Loved the scenic property. A few improvements in the cabin would help: fix the ceiling fan in bedroom (not working), no wash cloths in bathroom, replace the grimy shower curtain
