A private cottage surrounded by tropical foliage. Beautiful hardwood flooring, terra-cotta kitchen floor, clean subway tile bathroom and all the luxuries of home: comfy sofa, High Speed Wifi Internet, Full Kitchen, clean white linens, etc. Clean smoke and pet free property.

Short walk to secluded beaches, parks, dozens of restaurants, art galleries, farmers market, Pavillion's Grocery Store, Whole Foods, etc.

Short drive to Trader Joes, Fashion Island Mall, Newport Beach, Corona Del Mar, Balboa Island and Irvine. Perfect location!

The Cottage is surrounded by tropical flowers such as plumeria, hibiscus, lemons, palm trees, etc.. Out your window.

You will have full access to a shared front loading Washer/dryer.

Laguna Beach combines the laid back Southern California vibe with a vibrant art scene (and festivals in the summer) and yet provides easy access to the attractions of Orange County, including world class shopping and Disney Land. It is a very 'local' feel in North Laguna, very quiet and relaxed.

Laguna beach has its own bus line and in the summer months there's a free trolly that runs from north laguna to south laguna

Cute safe property

Rented cottage for five weeks. Good location only a few blocks from beach, restaurants, grocery store, etc. Clean, safe-off of street. Cute cottage. Had a couple issues that tested landlord. Firstly the oven stopped working. Dan, the landlord, immediately switched out old stove for new one. Great! Then a freak accident occurred when a palm branch from front of property was blown down during a windstorm and hit my car breaking off a side mirror. Landlord offered to pay to have it fixed! Really generous and shows he cares about his property and the people who rent from him. Both property and landlord are highly recommended.

Great Laguna Beach Cottage

We have stayed here three times and have loved it more each time. The location is great, Dan and Mia are great hosts, and it really works for us. Love the quiet street and the proximity to the beach.

Cozy Cottage

This was my first stay at this cottage. I spent over a month and it had most of what I needed for a home away from home, including a very comfortable bed. The surrounding garden was lovely, the hosts (Dan and Mia) were helpful and friendly, and the location was perfect; close to both beaches and downtown. Great place to vacation and relax. I would highly recommend it.

Great Laguna Beach Cottage

This is the second time in 2 years that we have rented Dan and Mia's cottage. This time is was for 6 weeks, from the beginning of August until mid-September. The place was perfect for the two of us. It is actually better than in the VRBO description. It is so close to everything. There are lots of fantastic restaurants in Laguna and being two block from Pavilions Market is really a bonus. The whole area is fantastic. The space is relaxed and inviting. We are looking forward to going back again next summer.

Cosy, clean,and quiet cottage located just three blocks from a beautiful beach.

Dan and Mia were very cooperative for any of our needs. Cottage is conviently located to beach, grocery store and a wealth of art galleries and shops. Would definitely stay again

Great Laguna Beach cottage

My husband and I stayed in Dan and Mia's cottage for the month of August 2015. It was just exactly what we wanted. Walking distance to all that Laguna Beach has to offer. We really enjoyed sunset walks along the beach to and from the Village for dinner above the beach. Although a bit longer walk, we appreciated being able to walk to Pageant of the Master and Laguna Playhouse. The setting with the garden feeling and the space itself was so fantastic we found ourselves willing to cook in several nights a week. This was really enhanced after we discovered the Saturday AM farmers market. I was a bit concerned when I read the description and determined it did not have designated parking or air conditioning. There was no issue on either count. Street parking was never an issue and Laguna Beach has such great weather that open windows and the fan in the unit was actually better than anything A/C could do. The place has a great homey feeling and a great location. We had a great time and look forward to returning.

Cute, cozy cottage close to the beach!

My husband and I and our 2 year old daughter stayed in this cottage for a week and it was perfect. Traveling with a child, we wanted a location close enough to walk to the beach, stores, restaurants, etc and this was it. The location in North Laguna is very quiet and peaceful and street parking is never an issue, even in July. The owners provided a wonderful list of recommendations for food, parks and beaches and were very helpful, if needed, while also respecting privacy. The cottage sits off of the road so you never hear cars or really any noise, which is wonderful if you have a napping child! There is a more private beach 3 blocks away and seems to be populated with locals vs crowds of tourists. The owners also keep a supply of beach chairs, umbrellas & toys for use near the laundry facility for your use as well. The kitchen provides the basics needed for food prep if you plan to pick up items from a local grocery store. The bathroom has a shower (no tub), but we purchased a travel tub for our daughter and it was perfect! The living room boasts a large, comfortable sofa and Roku, cable & a DVD player for any entertainment needs. The bedroom is very cozy and the bedding is more comfortable than any hotel! If you enjoy walking and can handle hills, this North Laguna spot is for you! Of course driving is always an option, but there is so much beauty to see walking around this area.

Best stay at the cottage!

We stayed for two months at this adorable cottage in Laguna Beach between March-April in 2014 and had a very pleasant stay. The cottage is very cozy, clean, fresh and so nicely decorated. It’s a perfect size for a couple or a smaller family to rent, located at walking distance from both fantastic beaches, downtown Laguna (which is a beautiful, artsy, friendly and cute little town) and great hiking trails up in the hills, where we went to hike every other day. At first we considered to rent a place in Dana Point, but luckily got convinced to choose Laguna Beach instead - and we never did regret that decision. If you bring a car it’s very easy and free to park at the street right outside the house. In case you don’t, we think you will do just fine anyway. Dan and Mia, the owners, are truly the nicest people. They will leave you privacy whenever and at the same time help you out at any time with what ever you’ll need. The only thing we could miss was some more kitchen supplies than just the basics, but Dan and Mia had just moved in at the time we rented the cottage, so maybe that’s fixed by now :) We would recommend this place to stay with all of our hearts; we had a fantastic time and did not at all want to leave! /Moa & Patrik

Holiday hideaway

We stayed 2 weeks at the cottage and had a great time. The accommodation was very spacious, comfortable and only a 5 minute walk to the beach. The kitchen was very basic but we ate out a lot and used the BBQ. Our hosts were very helpful. Parking was easy and all the shops and restaurants were an easy walk away.

Cutest place ever

I loved renting this cute beach cottage. It was in the best location, minutes walk to downtown laguna, the beach, shopping, and in the most amazing neighborhood. The apartment is decorated so cute, it is clean and has lots of light and great flowers with pretty landscaping. A small paradise. The owners are such a fun, good-looking, happy couple that are really helpful and easy going. I highly recommend staying there. You won't be disappointed.

Charming Garden Cottage

I have been a long term renter and absolutely adore the Garden Cottage! Surrounded by beautiful flowers and greenery, this cozy cottage is the perfect getaway that feels like home. Located in a quiet neighborhood only steps away from the beach and just a short walk to downtown Laguna, you couldn't ask for a better place to live or vacation. The cottage is spacious with everything you need. Mia and Dan are amazing, you won't want to leave! :)

Perfect Summer Retreat!

This was the perfect location for a long or short term stay in Laguna Beach! Of course, everything is located close enough to walk to but far enough away so as not to be bothered with noise and disturbances of people, traffic or businesses. It's quaint size is perfect in that it does not cause for much fuss and cleanup constantly. As soon as you arrive you're welcomed with a walkway surrounded visually with tropical flowers and greenery, and noises of birds singing and hummingbirds flying by. Being from Texas, we were worried about it not having an air conditioning; however, it was truly a blessing not to have even the noise of the a/c running. The temperature was perfect throughout the stay (which was all summer). The owners live in front of the bungalow and are truly a joy to be around. They were very friendly and helpful, but only if needed. I would recommend this to anyone looking to stay in the Laguna Beach area. It was nice getting to be a "local" for a period of time and soaking in a total different lifestyle. We loved it!!!!

Ideal place to stay in Laguna

We spent 1 month at Dan & Mia's bungalow. It was the perfect base for us to explore Orange Co. and SoCal. Plus the beach is a 5 min. walk away and Broadway for Whole Foods and restaurants is also close by. Dan and Mia are excellent hosts.
