This new Holiday Suite (ground floor) is located only 500 m from the Sarnen-Nord train station and the centre. Here you will find shopping facilities, restaurants and bars. By car you can drive to the lake in a few minutes, where there is a large playground and the Lido-Seefeld swimming pool. Countless excursions can be made from Sarnen: Pilatus, Rigi, Titlis (glacier), Ballenberg, Melchsee-Frutt, Interlaken, Lake Lucerne (including steamships). Distance Lucerne - Sarnen 20 minutes by car.

The suite has a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and Nespresso coffee machine. Comfortable beds, air conditioning, WiFi (free), 2 x 55" flat screen TVs with Netflix, etc. Washing machine/dryer on the ground floor.

2 bedrooms with 2 beds each, 1 bedroom with a large double bed and a sofa bed in the living room for 2 children up to 12 years or 1 adult.

Location description: Sarnen - in the heart of Switzerland - is the tranquil capital of the canton of Obwalden.  The population is around 10,500 (2021). The weekly market is held on the village square every Saturday from May to October. The canton is dominated by agriculture, but prominent companies such as maxon motor, bio-familia AG, Leister Technologies AG are also located here. The largest employer is the cantonal hospital.
The most important sights are the Landenberg (former seat of the bailiffs, from the 17th to the 20th century meeting place of the Obwaldner Landsgemeinde), the village square, the Grundacherhaus and the Historical Museum Obwalden in the former barracks Sarnen.
The Witches' Tower on the left bank of the Sarner Aa is also worth seeing.
The parish church of St. Peter and Paul in the Kirchhofen part of the village is a closed, late Baroque building that radiates far into the surrounding area with its location above the lake. It is listed as a cultural asset of national importance.
The collegiate church of St. Martin is also a listed building. The convent of St. Andreas is a place of pilgrimage with the Infant Jesus from Sarnen, which was created around 1360. In addition, the monastery's collection of music is one of the cultural assets of national importance.
