The infrastructure in Tokai is first class, shopping malls, gas stations and restaurants are all "just around the corner". The villa is only a few meters from the Steenberg Golf Club and some of South Africa's most famous wineries, such as Steenberg Estate; Groot Constantia and Buitenverwachting.

On the Constantia Valley Wine Route, you can get to know the famous wineries in the green valley of Constantia. Groot Constantia was founded in 1685 and given to the first governor of the Cape, Simon van der Stel, as an experimental farm for agricultural products, who mainly developed viticulture here and made Constantia wine world-famous. In 1925 the Cape Dutch mansion burned down completely. After its reconstruction, it now houses a museum that gives an insight into the life of the first Cape settlers. A walk across the extensive estate is worthwhile simply because of the great view of the Constantia Valley.
