Our stay in La Goleta, Gran Canaria

Nice ,out of the way location which is what I liked, a bit noisier than I thought but good self catering home. Only downsides were the ceiling light in the bedroom glowed constantly, the oven didn't work, the hob was hard to use and so was the microwave. The bed was too firm for my partner.The roof terrace was nice and the facilities were good. A nice bathroom and having a TV and WiFi was very useful too. The town of Cruce de Arinaga had a good selection of shops, supermarkets etc. Overall it was a perfect location to view the entire island over the week's stay, provided you hire a car. It was a pleasant stay and I would return in the future. Gustavo our host was friendly and accommodating for our needsand was very helpful.

Casa acogedora y propietario super amable!

Pros: Sin duda la buena predisposición del propietario a solventar de inmediato cualquier inconveniente, hizo que nos sintiéramos super a gusto. Por ejemplo, el aire acondicionado dejó de funcionar y cuando se lo comunicamos vino de inmediato con un ventilador y a la mañana siguiente ya estaba allí con un técnico para arreglarlo. La vivienda está bien equipada, está reformada y limpia. Si vas a alquilar coche la ubicación es perfecta para recorrer toda la isla. En un máximo de 45 minutos estás en el otro extremo de la isla. La zona de playas del sur está a unos 25 minutos y te ahorras estar en la aglomeración de gente que hay en el sur y por supuesto de pagar los elevados precios de aquella zona. Cons: Es una zona muy ventosa, sobre todo en verano. Si te cogen dias de viento es bastante incómodo porque no para de soplar durante las 24h y durante varios dias seguidos. Pero coges el coche y en 20 minutos sales de esa zona y estás en un paraíso sin viento :D

Todo nuevo con estancias muy amplias y limpias.

Pros: La parte de la terraza cerrada para tomarse una cerveza al atardecer. Cons: Nada. Pero es necesario tener coche para moverse.
