So wonderful!
We absolutely loved staying here! It is about a 2 minute walk to a beautiful beach with soft sand and a few pieces of amber. There is a private campground that you walk through and the owner was very kind to let us pass through. The home was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The only thing I would change is fluffier pillows. Martins forgot to send us check-in info, but his phone number was listed on VRBO and I was able to contact him through WhatsApp. He was very apologetic about the oversight and responsive and we were able to get in to the house once we figured out how to contact him. We did some minimal cooking, some relaxing in between playing at the beach and sightseeing. It is a little bit of a drive from Liepaja, and the road for 4 km is a pretty bumpy dirt road, but we loved the remote location. It was close to the forts, the Holocaust memorial, and Beberlini. The nearest grocery store is 20 minutes away, so plan your meals so you don't have to run there every day and you'll have as wonderful a vacation as we did!

Superschön und total ruhig
Sehr entspanntes Wohnen im riesigen Ferienhaus, nahe am Strand den man fast ganz für sich allein hat. Die Schotterstraße nach Liepaja ist für ein normales Auto kein Problem, kleinere Besorgungen können im Mini-Laden in Saraiki erledigt werden. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen!

Urlaub in Lettland
Wir haben unseren Sommerurlaub mit der ganzen Familie - vom Säugling bis zu den Großeltern - in Lettland verbracht. Das Ferienhaus war bei Ankunft sehr sauber und aufgeräumt. Es ist insgesamt absolut geräumig und gut ausgestattet. Erwachsene und Kinder waren hier rundum zufrieden. Der private Strandzugang ist super, wenn man am Strand gern seine Ruhe hat - für uns hervorragend. Toller Garten, tolle Lage, sehr nah an Liepaja. Als Großfamilie kann man hier einen herrlichen Urlaub verbringen. Minuspunkte gab es lediglich ein paar: Ein wenig gefehlt haben uns ausreichend Gartenmöbel, hier gibt es leider nur Sitzgelegenheiten für 4 Leute. Und der Grill war leider unbrauchbar, da offenbar nie gereinigt. Vielleicht könnte man da noch nachbessern. Ansonsten - top!

Sehr schönes Haus in toller Lage.
Das Haus hat alles was man braucht um sich wohl zu fühlen. Tolle technische Ausstattung, sehr geräumig, gute Matratzen. Schneller Kontakt zu den Kontaktpersonen, schnelle Hilfe bei Problem. Kurzer Fußweg zum wunderschönen Stand. Gerne wieder. Vielen Dank!

A great quiet spot near a super beach
Struggled to find a modern standard rental in Latvia for us and our grown up children so was really pleased to find this house. It's very simple and spacious and has all you would need, but most importantly to us, was only a couple of minutes walk from the lovely beach. Clean pristine sand, safe sea, generally we were the only people on it. Liepaja is close enough (20 minutes) for supermarket shopping, and there are good things to do locally like the wake board park, Tarzan high rope park, and the prison tour in the one time secret port of Karaosta. We also went further afield to the waterfalls at Kuldiga, go kart racing in Kandava (a hike but well worth it!) and the Soviet missile base down in Lithuania. We loved our experience in Latvia, a place not like anywhere else I have been in Europe, not even near neighbours like Sweden and Poland.

Perfekte Erholung in perfekter Umgebung - Natur pur
Dieses Ferienhaus ist wirklich spitze. Wir reisen sehr sehr viel und immer in Ferienhäuser. Aber dieses Haus ist wirklich klasse. Besser wie zu Hause :-) Sehr modern. Riesig. Alles da was man braucht: Top Küche mit Komplettausstattung. Extra Wäscheraum mit Miele-Waschmaschine und -Trockner. Besonders begeistert hat uns die zentrale Staubsaugeranlage mit der man wirklich super das Haus saugen konnte. Also alles da, was man als Hausfrau so braucht. Schlafräume in oberer Etage mit tollem Ausblick auf die Natur, gutes Bett; geräumiges Bad mit Whirlpool-Badewanne und Dusche. Überhaupt die Natur: Haus liegt "in the middle of nowhere", das lieben wir! Zu Fuß in paar Minuten am windumtosten Strand, der fast immer menschenleer war. Mit Wind muss man rechnen. Die Gegend ist dafür bekannt. Aber dafür ist man auch nicht so mückengeplagt. Das Grundstück ist riesig. Mit Thuja Hecken umzäunt. Das ist so der einzige Wermutstropfen als Hundebesitzer: Die sind da natürlich ruckizucki durch die Hecken und ab ins Gelände. Morgens sieht man Hasen, Rehe, Störche auf dem Grundstück. Das Haus liegt ein paar Kilometer entfernt von der Dorfmitte - dort gibt es eine kleines Geschäft, in dem man das nötigste findet. Ansonsten ab auf die Schotterpiste und nach Lijepaja. Dort ist alles zu bekommen - ca. 20 Minuten Fahrt, wenn man sein Auto schonen will. Also, wir waren super begeistert. Auch von der Freundlichkeit der Leute. Wir wollen wieder kommen, um diese herrliche Ruhe zu genießen

Ein Ferienhaus für 3 Familien mit Kindern, die Ruhe suchen...
Das Haus liegt einsam auf einer großen Wiese. Es ist recht gut eingerichtet. Nachteilig ist, dass keine deutschen Fernsehprogramme empfangen werden können. Der schöne Strand ist ca. 200 m entfernt. Familien können sich wohl fühlen, allerdings muss man ein Auto haben, da Saraiki und Liepaja zu Fuß nicht erreichbar sind. Für die kleinen Verbindungsstraßen sollte man einen Landrover haben, da die Schotterwege sehr wellig sein können und Steine gegen die Unterseite des Autos geschleudert werden. Das Land ist mit seiner ursprünglichen Natur sehenswert - die Menschen, die dort leben sind sehr zurückhaltend. Man kommt kaum mit ihnen in Kontakt. Wir hatten alles in allem einen schönen und erholsamen Urlaub (3 Wochen).

Amazing place for peaceful stay!
If you are looking for clean, beautiful, peaceful, modern place for you vacation with friend or big family this location is exactly what you need. Great modern house with all needed facilities, perfect window views, sea in 300 meters, outdoor grill and beautiful nature. Very good!

Wir haben uns gleich in diesem komfortablen Haus sehr wohl gefühlt.Das Haus liegt in ruhiger Gegend ca.300 Meter vom Privatstrand entfernt.Für diejenigen die Natur lieben und ein ruhigen,stressfreien Urlaub machen wollen ,ist es der ideale Ort. Meergeräusch hört man im Haus,was dem Ganzen einen besonderen Fler verleiht! Sehr netter Vermieter. Also wir können es nur weiterempfehlen!

Wir haben 3 Wunderschone Tage am Martinmaja in Liepaja verbracht. Das Zeit ist Gold Wert, weil hier kan man ganz scnell schressige altagstage vergessen. Das beste was hier gibts ist die Ruhe, was kann nicht mit den anderen Platz ander Welt vergleichen. Haus liegt 200 m von Baltischen Meer, bieten helle und angenehme Zimmern. Alles neue renoviert und mit geschmack eingerichtet. Wir werden nochmal zu Martinmaja wieder kommen. Kaspars, Ilze, Alberts Riga, Lettland

Großes, sehr gut ausgestattetes Haus, toller Strand, sehr gute Sportmöglichkeiten (Tennis und Basketball), allerdings etwas abgelegen. Um mal Essen zu gehen oder einzukaufen muss man schon nach Liepaja fahren. Netter Vermieter.
