There is much to explore beyond the natural delights on your doorstep. The pretty little hilltop village of Lajatico 15 km to the west is the birthplace of tenor Andrea Bocelli where he gives annual concerts at the Teatro del Silenzio, and don't miss the central piazza there for lunch! The villa's location means there is something for every day trip with the medieval town of Volterra 13 km to the south, the golf course of Castelfalfi 15 km to the north and San Gimignano 25 km to the west.
