About this property
Holiday house Gündlischwand for 1 - 2 persons with 1 bedroom - Detached holiday house

Small alpine hut on a remote large forest meadow. The archaic alpine hut, marked by wild weather moods, has been carefully restored with used wood and traditional building materials into a place of relaxation. The authentic furnishings have been consistently retained, as if Heidi & Goatherd Peter still lived here. The simplicity focuses on the essential: the imposing mountain scenery of the Swiss Alps. Life in the cherry tree hut is contemplative, the mills grind more slowly here: until the coffee is brewed, you have time to get busy with making the fire, listening to the natural background noise around the house, marveling at the sunset or listening to the leisurely babbling trough of the fountain refresh. The hut is bursting with cultural history: decades ago, the living room table was the front door, and you will also find a few books that tell you about past ways of life and wisdom. The padded sled is also a retired work tool. It served as a means of transport for the bulky cheese loaves or for cultivating the surrounding slopes.
Other leisure facilities: The unusual hut is located on a large mountain pasture, quite isolated from the villages. There are no hiking trails in the area and hardly anyone passes by here. Above all, you will find peace and relaxation here. Small hikes are of course possible, but if you want to tackle a longer tour, the extensive hiking trail network in the Jungfrau region is easily accessible from Zweilütschinen.
Excursion possibilities: Despite its seclusion, the infrastructure of the world-famous Jungfrau region is easily accessible.
The mountain guide recommends:
Hike to the Lobhornhütte and swim in the Sulssee, one of the most attractive mountain lakes in Switzerland...
Round tour: 4-5h / mountain path: easy / cable car: Isenfluh-Sulwald
Other living room features (Living room1): The authentic cottage offers a very pleasant, tranquil and open plan living area.
Cooking and living in the same room, above is the cozy gallery for sleeping.
Other bedroom furniture (Bedroom1): As in many huts, the cozy bed can be reached via a small ladder.
From this gallery you have a comfortable feeling of security and leave everyday life far below...
Other kitchen equipment (Kitchen1): The authentic cottage offers a very pleasant, tranquil and open plan living area.
