Log Home on Private Lake Walker/Leech Lake Area

This is a 4 bedroom 2 full bathroom Log Home with walk out basement built in 2005. You are 9 Miles from Northern Lights Casino and 13 miles from the Towns of Walker & Longville in either direction. 18 hole golf course 4mi. The house sits on a private lake which is perfect for fishing. Fish from the dock, canoe, or pontoon. If you have your own boat, you are 1 Mile from the public beach/boat landing of the South Shore of Leech Lake. Huddles Resort is located 2 miles away. (boat ramp, harbor, gas, two full restaurants.)

This is a very spacious house with 3200 Sq. Footage with vaulted ceilings. Beautiful views of the lake and very quiet and peaceful surroundings. The back half of the house has windows floor to ceiling. This is perfect for a family or a group to get away from the pressures of life. Once you visit our piece of heaven you will want to come back. We are looking for repeat renters.

7 day minimum stay during the peek seasons of June, July and August

A little bit of paradise

We were only here for 2 days for a funeral. The place was perfect for all the kids, grandkids and my wife and I to stay at. Ur had everything we needed. The fire ring was great, and we spent a lot of time there visiting and sharing memories.I would love to come back in the fall and really enjoy the peace and tranquility.

Great stay for a weekend getaway!

My family and I had a great weekend in Walker. We had scheduled our stay to snowmobile but little snow changed those plans. We still had a great time in this large log home on a quaint little lake. The outdoor temps were as low as -22! We all stayed nice in cozy next to the wood burning fireplace! The owner was was very informative and accommodating. We would definitely recommend this rental!

Beautiful Cabin

The moment we stepped inside, we were amazed at how nice the cabin was. The location was very convenient as it was right off the main road. Jay was very responsive to any questions we had. Overall, our group had a great time. I would recommend this cabin and would definitely go back!

The perfect house for our ice fishing trip

We booked Jays house for our annual ice fishing trip. It worked out perfect for us being close to the lakes and town. I would highly recommend dinner at the piggy BBQ in Walker, and if you are by Winnie, you have to stop in and see Al at the Big Fish for a cold drink and a very goof meal.

We loved our stay. We could go out on the lake every day. Location was wonderful for other activities. Patio with fire pit was great to sit around with family. House was well equipped. Owner was great with fast response to any communication. Can’t wait for next year!!

Private and quiet, amazing get away!

Awesome cabin if you’re looking to get away from the hustle-bustle of the city. Plenty of room and beds for our group. Everyone had a great time fishing and admiring the sportsman’s decor of the cabin. We were always awaiting the arrival of the Bald Eagles that would sit in the trees next to the cabin throughout the day. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us and look forward to booking with Jay again!

Perfect for our group

We take a family ice fishing trip every year and this year was the first time we stayed at Jay’s cabin. There were 10 of us and everything worked out perfectly! Jay was great to work with and we hope to return for years to come.

Sisters Relaxing Getaway

We had such a great time at Jay's cabin. We could relax, play games, laugh and reminisce just lounging with our snacks and drinks while enjoying a fire and the lakeview. The cabin was neat, clean and furnished with everything we needed to have a relaxing weekend. We were amazed at the amount and variety of hunting and fishing items that were on display! The decor was definitely a frequent topic of conversation! We did some day trips to shop and check out the casino but spent the majority of the time at the cabin. Jay was a very accommodating host and we look forward to making a return trip in the future.

We came up for a family trip from NC, our daughter is in grad school in Minneapolis

I knew Walker area busy over July 4th as we lived there 20 yrs ago. Booked cabin 10 months ago. Our host Jay amazing in correspondence, from start to finish. The cabin exceeded our expectations in every way. Had everything we wanted, needed and then some. 5 stars in every way!! No one wanted to leave. We can't wait to come back and stay again. Excellent vacation!!! Gorgeous Cabin, the decor is like a nature museum. Can't say enough good things about Landy's Lodge!

We loved our stay here. The huge cabin is beautiful, sitting on a beautiful lake. If there isn’t something you need inside the cabin, you really don’t need it. We’re returning next year. The owner is terrific to work with!!
