About this property
Villa Andrea
Beautiful Villa Andrea is located in a small Istrian town Smoljanci in central Istria. The rural surroundings offer complete peace and privacy, and the luxurious ambience of Villa Andrea will provide you with everything you need for a relaxing holiday.
The villa covers a total of 220 m2, an area that includes a covered terrace as well. The size of the plot is 800 m2. Accommodation capacity for a total of 6 people, the villa has 3 fully furnished and air-conditioned rooms on the upper floor, two of which have a sea view. On the upper floor there are two bathrooms. A washing machine and tumble dryer are also available on request.
The ground floor of the villa has a spacious living room, modern kitchen and an additional toilet. On the beautiful terrace of the villa there is a pool of 4x10 m large 1.5 m deep. Around the pool there are 4 deck chairs, outdoor barbecue and outdoor dining table.
The yard of the villa is completely fenced, and inside the yard there are 2 parking spaces.
The surroundings of the villa offer many interesting facilities such as cycling, horseback riding or wine tours and olive oil tours. Istria is known for its rich eno-gastronomic offer, and the cultivation and processing of vines and olive oil are one of the most famous agricultural branches that have been practiced in this Croatian region for centuries.
Today, Istria is ahead of many European countries in the production of extra virgin olive oil, which is the result of the exceptional quality of the soil in this area. Be sure to visit some of the many wine cellars that produce some of the best labels of red, white or rosé wines like Merlot, Malvasia, Teran, Muscat or Cabernet Sauvignon.
Central Istria is also known for a special gourmet delicacy - truffles, underground gems with a particularly bitter taste. The sites of this expensive gastronomic specialty are located in central Istria, especially around the Motovun forest.
An interesting thing on offer in Istria is truffle hunting, an experience with which you can experience first-hand what the traditional search for this delicacy looks like, which is mainly hidden in the roots of oak, poplar, beech, elm and similar trees.
If you still enjoy sightseeing of cultural and historical monuments, you will surely like exploring the interior of Istria, which in addition to a fairy-tale landscape hides monuments from various periods of history. For example, in the town of Motovun, there are interesting medieval walls that give this town a special charm.
According to legend, the mythical figures Jason and Argonauts sailed on the Mirna River at the foot of Motovun, and the first inhabitants lived here between 3,500. and 2,200 BC. Kr.
On the Istrian coast you will find many other interesting places that delight with their tourist offer but also beautiful cultural and historical monuments, such as Porec, Umag, Rovinj or Pula.
Enjoy the beautiful landscape, wine roads and gastronomic offer of Istria and relax in the peace and privacy of Villa Andrea and the luxury you deserve.
