Stroll to the beach and enjoy a refreshing dip in the sea. Go on bike tours through fragrant pine forests or discover the island on foot. In the summer months, a free shuttle bus runs along the coast, so you can discover many different beaches and find the best spots for windsurfing and sailing. Several beautiful excursion destinations are within easy reach, such as the towns of La Rochelle or Royan and the famous Palmyre Zoo. For longer day trips, the island of Ile de Ré or the town of Cognac also offer exciting activities.
