Superando expectativas

Hemos disfrutado muchísimo tanto de Corfú como De la Villa. Tiene todo tipo de comodidades y está muy bien equipada. La piscina con las vistas que tiene es un auténtico lujo y el billar es un extra divertido. El entorno es muy tranquilo y apacible y las puestas de sol una auténtica pasada. Estamos muy agradecidos también. A los dueños, así como a las personas que nos asistieron localmente, en especial a Marie por todas sus recomendaciones y atenciones.

Stunning

Postcard views, relaxing spot and amazing villa. The whole process was a joy from start to finish. Lynette was very communicative on email, answered all of our queries and pointed us in the right direction. The villa itself is unbelievable, the photos certainly do not do it justice. Spacious, modern and comfortable. You'll need a small car to make the tight corner at the top but this villa is well positioned for tavernas, beaches and perfect sunset views. We loved our stay here.

Fantastic property & amazing view

We've just come back from a fab holiday in Corfu. The villa is in a fantastic location with the most amazing stunning view. It's a short drive away from a lovely beach where we hired a boat and a steep walk down to another beach which is great for snorkelling. We all loved the pool (which was maintained regularly) and the pool table was brilliant fun and a hit with the kids. The roads leading to the property are not great to be honest (roads in Corfu in general aren't great), esp the one leading to the villa (past the stop - no cars to pass sign!) but you get used to the tight corner and steep slope (the price you pay for an amazing view). There is a supermarket a drive away which we felt was very basic, however some fantastic tavernas close by which you can either drive or are a 5 min walk away (uphill). There was a problem with the amount of wasps, however this is a problem we were told in the whole of Corfu during the months of Aug and Sept. The family who help with the cleaning and maintenance were an absolute delight and so helpful. If we were to come back to Corfu we would defiantly return to the villa as it was perfect for us.

Perfekt... grandiose Aussicht und tolle Ausstattung des Hauses. Für alles ist gesorgt...

Grandiose Aussicht und tolle Ausstattung des Hauses. Es fehlt an nichts. Ob beim Morgenkaffee auf den Loungemöbeln der Terrasse im OG, beim relaxen im Pavillion in der Gartenanlage, beim Billardspielen mit Meerblick im eigenen überdachten Bereich oder zum Abschluss des Abends an der Außenbar.... es fehlt an nichts... überall ist für alles gesorgt. Das Haus ist super ausgestattet und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. In der Umgebung gibt es tolle Tavernen, die fußläufig erreichbar sind. Drei Strände in nur wenigen Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar. Der berühmte "Timoni-Beach" , die Zwillingsbuchten sind auch in der Nähe und zu Fuß erreichbar. Zwingend erforderlich ist ein Auto, da die Region sehr abgelegen ist, aber dafür wirklich sehr ruhig und ideal zum erholen. Für uns war alles perfekt - gerne wieder! Danke an die Eigentümer und die Betreuer vor Ort.

Beautiful villa with amazing views.

Villa Athena is in a very pretty location with great views out over the sea. The villa is on two storeys and is very well equiped. It has a massive built-in BBQ with a bar area (with a fridge) next to it. There are six sun loungers around the pool as well as a shower, a relaxing sofa, hammock, bar stools, table and chairs. The pool was well maintained (pool man came 3 times per week). On the upper kitchen/dining/lounge level there are two further (six seater) outdoor dining tables, a second BBQ and a great balcony with sofa, chairs and coffee table. The kitchen is very well equiped: it has a built-in fridge/freezer, dishwasher, oven, hob and microwave. There are enough glasses, cups, plates, knives, forks and spoons for twenty guests, as well as a good selection of cooking utensils! There is a large indoor dining table with seating for eight. The dining area leads onto the lounge with sofa chairs and TV. There is also a toilet/shower on this level. The comfortable bedrooms and the games room are on the lower (pool) level. There are two further showers/ toilets and a utility room with a washing machine, iron and ironing board. The road from Afionas village down to the villa is about 100m long, very narrow and very steep (about 30%); it is good exercise when going out for an evening meal but not for anybody who is not reasonably fit (we are both in our 60's and managed O.K.). The village itself is small, very pretty and has seven restaurants, a bakery and a couple of souvenir shops but no supermarket, so a car is essential for staying here, even though the roads are awful. There is good, but strenuous, walking around the area - don't miss the old mule path from Ag. Georgios to Makrades or the walk from Afionas village to Porto Timone beach. Overall, I had a great time in a lovely place.
