In Sperlonga, the beautiful nature, crystal-clear water and historic center make for a great vacation. Relax for days on the beautiful beaches, enjoy the atmosphere in the narrow streets of the old town, discover the culinary specialties of the Lazio region and experience the underwater world and picturesque nature with impressive caves, including the Blue Grotto. Remarkable buildings are of course also a reason to visit the city. These include the church, Chiesa Santa Maria di Sperlonga, but also the old Roman villas, in particular the Villa di Tiberio, the luxury villa of the Roman Emperor Tiberio. The villa is located in the south of the city, where La Grotta di Tiberio is also located. Beautiful nature experiences are just around the corner. The Riviera di Ulisse Regional Park, which stretches along the coast of the Bay of Gaeta, also includes the protected area around Monte Orlando. Enthusiastic mountain hikers should definitely explore the Monti Aurunci Nature Park with its beautiful mountains and the Hermitage of St. Michael the Archangel.
