I’ve stayed dozens of times through vacation and holiday rental apps and never encountered a more dissatisfying stay.The listing said no AC, not a problem we are visiting in March - but didn’t say no heat - a fact that would have changed our reservation. The homeowner did return after check in with a space heater that we thought could work but after the first time plugging it in the circuits popped and we lost power and subsequently each time we tried a different plug same thing happened. Turning off all the lights we tried to make dinner and the circuits blew again. So we gave up and around 9pm told the owner we would be leaving in the morning. So within 4 hours we knew this was not a place we could stay for three nights. So the following morning we were packed up and waiting in our car for the walk through and return of our deposit. We also found it unusual that a couple weeks before our stay we received a message that we would need to provide a 300 Euro cash deposit that would be returned when we checked out if it passed the walk through. In all my stays damage deposits are fees held on a credit card and applied back after the stay. In the listing it talks about how a deposit may be required and lists cash, debit or credit. It would be more accurate to indicate a cash deposit is required. For the price per night you should expect all the features to work.It is a gorgeous home on the surface but beyond that beware you could be disappointed.
