We didn't want to leave!

This property is in a fabulous location. The backyard was like your own private resort! The house is adjacent to the bike trails. We walked to Old Town. The primary bedroom bed was also very comfortable. I had some difficulty with the pool heater. Al came over right away and gave me a tutorial. My family included my elderly mother, husband, sister and my 11 year old daughter. Having the pool/spa, firepit and misters right there worked for everybody! We would definitely stay here again!

Slice of Heaven!

We were with our adult kids while on this vacation and we were all very delighted with the house, the amenities, and the location. The beds were super comfy, and the towels and extras provided made the stay very relaxing. Al is a wonderful host, and we felt very well taken care of. We would definitely love to return to this home again.

Delightful Desert Oasis!

Our group had a wonderful time at Al's place! Al was responsive to all of our questions and very helpful. The salt water pool and spa were delightful and the view from the yard is really gorgeous. There's also a rooftop deck for even more amazing views! The living room and dining room are even more spacious in person than they appear in the pictures and the kitchen is well stocked with pans and dishes. We so appreciated that the house was pet friendly and the fenced in yard made it easy for the dogs to run around and play. Definitely recommend!

Great Views and beautiful pool.

Al was a great host, from the arrival to check out was a breeze. The house was very clean and the pool felt amazing. My little child loves to visit the koi fish in the back yard. Just be careful of the little ones around the sharp cactus. I would love to bring my family back here next year.

Absolutely Fantastic

This place is absolutely awesome! Very clean, had everything you need, the salt water pool was very nice. Al was the perfect host, greeting us in person when we arrived and was very prompt in answering any questions we had. We will make this our annual vacation getaway every year, maybe twice a year! Thank you Al for your hospitality and the pleasurable stay.

Book club getaway

Overall we had a lovely time and enjoyed ourselves immensely. The house was well-equipped and a perfect set up for our group of six moms who like to do this trip annually. We would definitely come back, in spite of having serious issues with check in. The access code was never provided, and we had zero communication with our host the entire weekend. We got lucky with having a cleaning person leave the front door unlocked. Otherwise I’m not sure what we would have done. Waiting for 90 minutes in 112 degree temps with our cars running was troubling to say the least. Vrbo support was contacted and they were unable to help, although we were on the verge of getting transferred to another rental property, along with compensation, when it was discovered the front door was unlocked. It was a fluke. The location, amenities, and cleanliness was otherwise great.

Location is perfect, walking distance to old town and very private and quiet. The house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed and a few extra very nice surprises. The yard and pool were very well maintained and private. The mango from a tree in the yard was so good! Al was an attentive host.

Relaxed & Rejuvenated!

Our stay was all we needed it to be. The home was comfortable and the yard was perfect for enjoying the beautiful weather of early summer in La Quinta! Great pool and jacuzzi. The instructions were well written for whatever we chose to use,we had no issues at all. Al was wonderful to communicate with and a host that accommodated us so well! We look forward to our next visit in this VRBO rental. We have stayed at multiple rentals in the area of Palm Springs, Palm Desert, and La Quinta. I have to say this home is my favorite. We only left 1 time to get a few groceries. Enjoying every day we spent "just chilling", with not a concern to be contemplated on our much needed and well deserved get~away!

The location of this property was perfect. Walking distance to Old Town La Quinta with good food drinks. Hiking literally right there. Easy check in and out. Beautiful pool/spa home. We will be back.
