In the hamlet Gittana 3.5 km from the centre of Varenna, 3 km from the centre of Perledo, 25 km from the centre of Lecco, 1.3 km from the lake. 3 km long narrow motor access. Public parking 50 m. Shop 3 km, supermarket 5 km, restaurant 30 m, bus stop 2 km, railway station "Varenna" 3.5 km, grass beach "Bellano" 5 km. Marina 5 km, golf course (18 hole) 35 km, walking paths from the house 200 m. Hiking paths: Sentiero del Viandante 200 m. Please note: Loading and unloading of baggage is possible at the holiday house. Part of the house is closed and unoccupied.

Ruhig gelegenes Häuschen
Das Haus liegt oberhalb von Varenna. Mit dem Auto ist man in 10 Minuten am Bahnhof von Varenna. Das Haus selber ist für 2 Personen völlig ausreichend. Und hat alles was man braucht. Die Vermieterin ist eine sehr freundliche Person. Parken kann man vor dem Haus nicht. Aber be-und entladen sind kein Problem. Es gibt aber genug freie Parkplätze im Dörfchen. Der nächste Parkplatz ist keine Minute entfernt. Wir haben verschiedene Ausflüge unternommen. Mal in die Städte mal ab in die Natur zum wandern. War bestimmt nicht das letzte Mal.

Zum wiederholten Mal
Auch diesmal eine schöne Zeit in Gittana gelebt. Das Haus hat alles, was man braucht. Die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich, zuverlässig und gleichzeitig diskret. Es gibt zwei sehr gute Restaurants fußläufig, die zwar Ruhetage haben, aber sehr zu empfehlen sind. Wir waren zum Radfahren dort (Räder in der Garage am Haus sicher verschlossen) und finden die Ausgangslage passend, Wandertouren auch prima. Enge, steile und kurvige Straßen sollten mit dem fahrbaren Untersatz souverän beherrscht werden.

Goed ingericht huis vlakbij het Comomeer
Het huis is netjes, goed onderhouden en de keuken is zeer uitgebreid ingericht. Parkeren kan op een gratis parking op amper 30m. van het huis. Het meer is vlakbij, zeker doenbaar te voet. Twee supermarkten in het volgende dorp. Er lopen verschillende wandelroutes vlak langs het huis. Rosa is een super gastvrouw. Terras kijkt uit op een klein pleintje met huizen rond, verder in de straat kan je het meer zien. De wifiverbinding is aanwezig, maar zwak en traag.

Die Wohnung ist zweckmäßig und gut ausgestattet mit allem was man braucht. Für Leute die absolut ihre Ruhe haben und nicht ständig Auto fahren wollen genau richtig. Mich mich war die Lage absolut ungünstig zu weit weg vom See und zu weit weg von den Kletter - und Klettersteiggebieten! Also gut überlegen was man unternehmen möchte!

Kleines Rustico im Weiler Gitt...
Kleines Rustico im Weiler Gittana: kompakt, aber nicht beengt. Mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Internet hatten wir entgegen der Ausschreibung zwar nicht, konnten aber abends im Restaurant Il caminetto kostenlos WLAN nutzen. Wir waren dort eh 3 xzum Essen. Il caminetto ist sehr empfehlenswert. Das Örtchen Gittana liegt zwar nicht weit von Varenna und Bellano entfernt, ist aber nur für stramme Fußgänger oder sehr fitte Radfahrer ohne Auto zu erreichen. Mit dem Auto: auf den engen Straßen fährt essich mit einem kleinen Wagen deutlich entspannter. SEHR enge Kurven sind zu erwarten. Ansonsten (er)lebt man den Weiler Gittana ruhig und mit freundlichen Anwohnern. Hier ist Italien pur! Reisetipps: Wir waren zum Mountainbiken und Wandern vor Ort – sehr empfehlenswert, wenn die nötige Sportlichkeit vorhanden ist
