Virserum is only a few kilometres away and offers shops and restaurants as well as an art centre, a museum of the furniture industry and cosy cafés. The oyster farm and flower garden are particularly exciting. If you're feeling adventurous, you can head to the Dackestupet for mountain biking or slalom riding. Hiking enthusiasts and cyclists will appreciate the picturesque hiking trails and the possibility of dressage cycling on the narrow-gauge railway. A special highlight is Astrid Lindgren's World in Vimmerby, perfect for families and a day trip.
