Amazing Beach Front House

4 bedroom (2 king beds, 2 queen beds)/3 bathroom beachfront home located on East Beach in historic downtown Ocean Springs, one of only 3 Great American Main Street Award Winners in the United States! Ocean Springs is a charming, progressive, and quaint beach town located on the Gulf of Mexico approximately 50 miles from Mobile, Alabama and less than 100 miles from New Orleans, Louisiana. For anyone who enjoys the beach there’s sun bathing, kayaking, paddleboarding, and fishing to name a few. Downtown Ocean Springs offers plenty of shopping and dining including clothing boutiques, candy and toy shops, and everything ranging from casual to fine dining. The house is only about 50 steps from the beach (locals call it “East Beach”), 5 minutes from restaurants and bars, and 10 minutes from the casinos (Beau Rivage, Golden Nugget, Hard Rock, etc.) which are located just across the Ocean Springs Bridge.
We are happy to provide our guests with a full guide to get you acquainted with the area and are available to answer any questions you may have about specific interests.

Great house

Perfect house for 4 couples weekend getaway. The house was clean and very well stocked. We loved having the water nearby and enjoyed the sunsets every evening. Just a short drive to Washington Ave and downtown Ocean Springs.

Excellent Home for Vacation

We loved everything about our stay at this home! The home exceeded our expectations and the ocean views were better than we anticipated! The owners have thought about everything that you may need while staying here. We have two young children and didn't have to bring anything extra for them....this house had them covered! We will definitely rent this home again when we come back to Ocean Springs!

Beautiful and Spacious Beach House

This property was everything that was presented in the photos and more and was perfect for our family gathering. It was relaxing to enjoy the beautiful views from the beach in the living areas and the master bedroom. The house was lovely and well equipped.

Hometown Visit

There was an oops in communication with the house keeper so the property wasn’t ready at our check in time. All was made right, and we will be returning to this property for the third time in 2025.. I’ve been coming to the Ocean Springs area annually for the past 11 years and this is my favorite house.

Wonderful home far and above a typical hotel stay! Our group loved every minute we were there!!

This is a great property to rent for a group vacation. We rented the house almost a year in advance since our dates were certain and all communications we received were timely and appropriate throughout that year. Lots of room for family get away!

This is a great property that is well furnished. We had 6 adults and everyone had enough space for privacy. This is our second time to stay in this house. I did miss the rocking chairs that were on the front porch last year!

Beautiful Home in Ocean Springs

We stayed at this property with our adult children and spouses to attend a wedding in the area. The house is absolutely beautiful and is very well appointed. There's a fabulous great room and lots of little nooks for those who want privacy. There is also a wrap around porch with a view of the water which makes for a perfect place to have coffee in the morning. The house is also in a great location. It is a stone's throw from East Beach, downtown Ocean Springs and the Casinos. Our host Robbie was very informative and easy to work with. We highly recommend Waters Edge to anyone looking to stay in Ocean Springs and needs a spacious house.

Beautiful Home with Breathtaking Views

The location close to the beach in a quiet neighborhood with gorgeous water views was perfect! We were in town for our son's wedding and having a quiet retreat for ourselves as well as a place for a small group of friends to gather on the porch or in the huge great room/kitchen/dining room area with windows all around made the wedding weekend even more enjoyable. The kitchen was very well stocked, and the house had all the amenities you could ever need. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

Girls annual Christmas trip

Me and seven of my friends take an annual Christmas shopping trip to different states. When I saw this house, I just had to rent it and it didn't disappoint. It was close enough to shopping and the casinos. The host was quick to respond. I have been renting homes for over 12 years, and I highly recommend this home.

Beautiful home and great location.

Only complaint was outdoor sitting. Couch Cushion were very stained and ripped. So we could not sit outside and enjoy the view. Kitchen was well stocked with a big pantry. Beds were comfortable with nice linens. Home also had two refrigerator which was helpful!!!! We enjoyed our stay!!!!

Family Getaway

This VRBO house served as our home base for a family vacation on the Gulf Shore. We all agreed it was one of the nicest houses we'd ever stayed in with a heavenly porch to sit on and easy access to walks on the beach. The only thing that puzzled us was the master bedroom closet which needed to be vacuumed and was full of random things that impacted our ability to store our clothes. With that said, the rest of the house was clean and well-equipped and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Ocean Springs

This house is beautiful! It’s very spacious and organized. The owners were very welcoming and easy to get in touch with. We had an issue with the air conditioner one day while we were there and they took care of it immediately. The only thing that was disappointing was the beach. There’s very little beach area that is any good for swimming unless you want to travel.

Our accommodations for my son’s wedding.

We rented this wonderful home for our stay during my son’s wedding in March. It was everything we wanted and hoped for. It was so well stocked with everything we needed!! Nice decor and supplies made it a fabulous stay! I love that Ocean Springs has so many pet friendly options, but this one was great! We loved our stay and hope to return at some point. The only thing that was mentioned as a possible concern was the upstairs bathtub was slippery. No one had any issues with it, but said it might help to let it be known. But, again…5 star!!

My husband, Lee (many people call him "Robby") and I got engaged while I was living in Denver, Colorado and he was in the process of building his dream home in Ocean Springs, Mississippi. We had a quaint and beautiful family wedding at our home in Ocean Springs and we’ll always treasure having the most important people in our lives there to share our special day in our home. Shortly after getting married, we decided to relocate to Denver and recently welcomed our first child, Corinne. Less than 2 years later we became a family of 4 when Maris was born. We plan to spend as much time as we can on the Gulf Coast so that our girls will have an opportunity to enjoy their extended family and home in Ocean Springs.

While we’re in Denver, we love welcoming guests into our Ocean Springs home and ready enjoy meeting and speaking with visitors. It’s such a wonderful experience to share a place that means so much to us and know that special memories are being made there while we are away.

Why they chose this property

As far as the house goes, you can expect a fully appointed home with plenty of upgrades. We built this home for our family in 2013 and spend a good bit of time there. We currently live in Denver, Colorado which is why we open our home to guests. We love having the opportunity to share our home with others who are visiting our hometown and cherish our guest book. If you stay, please leave us a note. One of our favorite things is reading the messages our guests leave.

We have really worked to make the home feel both comfortable and luxurious for our guests. You’ll find super comfortable beds with quality linens, lots of indoor and outdoor seating as well as amazing views of the beach (especially when the sun rises and sets), and a kitchen equipped for cooking, serving and cleaning up after a group of people.

It’s important to note that the house is in a very quiet residential area. This rental is for a relaxing vacation with a handful of friends and family. This is a family home and there are stringent HOA rules prohibiting large gathering or parties. If you are planning to accommodate a large group looking for a place to have parties, this isn’t going to be the right fit for you. We are unable to allow any large gatherings, indoor or outdoor, NO exceptions. This includes but is not limited to rehearsal dinners, weddings, receptions, etc.
