Finger Lakes Keuka Lake Vacation Home 50' off water, 100' Level Beach Frontage

The Elmwood is situated on a private road on the East side of Keuka Lake 4 miles south from the Village of Penn Yan. The home is furnished with both new items and antiques which give it the Keuka charm.

The three-quarter acre lot is on level land with a large private yard perfect for family entertaining, playing bocci, ladder-ball, kan jam, or relaxing on the beach with your favorite book. Beautiful Oak, Maple, and Willow trees provide plenty of shade when needed.

You will enjoy swimming and sunbathing on the 100+ feet of private beach and walk-in lake frontage. The 45 foot dock has a 8 x16 foot attachment with cushioned outdoor furniture including a table with umbrella, great for swimming, sunbathing, fishing, and watching the lovely evening sunsets. A grill and picnic tables for outdoor cooking are provided. A boat hoist is also available for your use. Gather around the fire pit located on the beach for bonfires, smores and a star filled sky.

The kitchen is fully equipped with service for 12 and all cooking utensils. The dining room seats 10 comfortably and the newly renovated screened in porch off the dining room has table and chairs for additional seating. Walk through the French doors into the newly furnished living room which has a large screen tv and plenty of seating. All rooms have windows with fantastic views of the lake and allow for a wonderful lake breeze.

There are five bedrooms on the second floor each with dresser(s) and/or closet space. Bedroom 1- (1) Queen Bed, Bedroom 2- (1) Double Bed, Bedroom 3- (2) Twin Beds, Bedroom 4- (1) Double Bed, Bedroom 5- (2) Twin Beds. All have window views of the lake.

Loved our week here!

Lovely place on the lake. Very special cottage and lot on the point. The yard is like a park, with large shade trees and level entry to the lake. We loved the cottage, sleeping with the windows open, the cleanliness, the screened in porch, and great kitchen. Great swimming and fishing area. We have been home a week and my wife still misses this place. We will look to book again. The owners are great!

Back at Willow Grove :)

Our family had a cottage two doors down from The Elmwood for over 60 years. It is out of our family now but how wonderful to find that we could rent The Elmwood and relive those happy extended summer memories! Room for everyone and endless outside space, well-appointed kitchen, laundry! Can’t say enough good things. Thank you!

Willow Grove Paradise

Lovely, well equipped house..a delightful blend of old fashioned and modern. The updated kitchen area has been beautifully, functionally, and efficiently completed since our last stay. The out of doors area has to be about the best on Keuka...perfection! Thank you Kathy and Warren for sharing Elmwood with our ten member adult family. We hope to return.

Elmwood is a beautiful and peaceful Keuka experience

This past month my siblings and I treated our parents to a week of family togetherness reliving memories of Willow Grove and Keuka Lake. Upon our return home I received a card that read in part "Last week at the lake was even more wonderful than I had imagined through the year. What a blessing Elmwood was and is. Such a peaceful, beautiful place on Keuka." Kathy & Warren have thought of everything, and most things twice. Bring your toothbrush and a bag of groceries - nearly everything else is provided.

Great location

Everything was so clean and organized. The location was perfect. The people were very nice. They had a paddle boat that was so much fun for everyone to use. In the back of the house, there was a screened-in porch that was amazing to be in at all times of the day. The only problem was the full-size beds should be queens, but they make that clear. If there were queen-size beds, the place would be 5 stars for me. You cannot beat their kitchen and gathering areas. Fantastic for family to enjoy time together.

You'll Have No Secrets In This House

The owner and brother recently redid major portions of this home. The kitchen is the jewel of the remodel. I can't confirm this, but I believe Warren's wife Cathy was likely responsible for many of the touches of the kitchen. It is bright, full of brand new appliances (June 2022) and exceptionally well stocked. The kitchen windows look out over the creek, woods, and lake all at once. It is a great space to be in. The downstairs bathroom is a testament to space efficiency with washer / dryer full shower, commode, and sink and some storage all in this small space, but not so small as to not be able to move around comfortably. All brand new as of June 2022 when we stayed. Or at least it appeared so. The house has some new fangled sonic pest controller in several rooms around the house and outside on the porch. I saw some small spiders once or twice during our week, but overall no pests to be seen or heard. The bedrooms are comfortable and warm to walk into. Again, they really have taken advantage of every ounce of space, and as my title indicates if you want secrets you better whisper in someone's ear otherwise you will be heard. I love the cottage feeling so it was no bother to me or my family. Two docks, and wonderful grounds to walk through. There is a lot of space for a rental property on a finger lake. Our weather didn't cooperate as much as we would have liked, but we still enjoyed our stay. The small little area of houses where this is located is idyllic. Everyone maintains their property and they are so neat and tidy. It is a beautiful spot to stay. Penn Yan has everything you might need or want during your stay and is about 4 or 5 minutes up the road. I can keep going on, but no one is going to want to keep reading so I'll wind up by saying that I highly recommend this property and their owners.

Third Stay with a Great Surprise

We love the cottagey atmosphere of the Elmwood and were pleasantly surprised by the upgrades to the kitchen and downstairs bathroom and living room. I would say the kitchen now has a modern farmhouse look. Definitely would go back for a fourth visit!

Excellent Rental

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay for a week of bass fishing. Good dockage for two bass boats. The cottage is a blend of new and old. The well equiped kitchen and downstairs are newly remodeled. The upstairs is original 1800's and is remarkable. We hope to rent in the future as well. Kathy and Warren are excellent hosts.

Great location- not handicap or elderly friendly

We were a family of 5 women all over 50 with multiple health issues. This was actually the reason for the get away- it was a chance for us to get some time time away and relax. I made the owner away we had someone recovering from open heart surgery, rotator cuff surgery, and some one had rheumatoid arthritis. Unfortunately, one of the bathrooms is actually outside of the house. The other is upstairs and you need to climb stairs that have a rope for you to hold on to for security. This was in no way practical for our party. It was not mentioned at all in the house description either, as I would not have booked it. Other than than that, and a few other minor issues, it is a great location, beautiful views, and a nice cottage feel. It may be better suited however for younger people as it doesn’t have air conditioning either. It is clean and neat which was very important.

Elmwood is a very nicely kept cottage. Very comfortable and the location is one of the best I have ever had. The owners are extremely friendly and made sure we didn't need anything upon check-in. The docks are in good shape and we had a pontoon boat tied up there all week with no issues. The wineries are right down the street. I would rent this place again if it was available.

Perfect Lake House

Our Stay was wonderful at this beautiful cottage. It was neat, clean and well decorated along with having all the comforts of home. The lake views and huge yard made us not want to go inside at the end of the day. The screened in porch was the best place to start and end your day, so peaceful and relaxing.
