We loved our weekend at this home. The owner has invested in modern updates in the bathrooms and kitchen. Great space, beautiful scenery and the kids had fun learning to play pool!
Quiet neighborhood, great views, nice walking trails.
Great property about a 10 minute drive to the lake. Quiet neighborhood (although close to local airport so you do have that noice). Great walking trails through the area. Awesome views from the back deck. Very comfortable.
Hands down one of the best locations and delivers in the promise that the backyard is the expansive and beautiful forest with a gentle hill and fields that were snow covered on arrival. The kids had a natural snowy playground that they could enjoy simply by going outside and even if we weren’t ready to leave the kitchen we felt it was safe as the area was in back away from the road and even then road was a pretty quiet one. The check in was easy although I had to ask for check in instructions but host responsive once I asked for them and answered questions promptly. I wish my bed was bigger and prefer a different mattress but other than that was a really comfortable, enjoyable stay and we would considering booking again in the future..
A really neat home that everyone enjoyed. The game room was a bonus feature that our grandchildren thought was amazing!! Sledding was available on the property.
My family and I had a great time and the house was just right for us and our stay. We were fortunate that there was a good amount of snow, so the kids were able sled right on the property and they had a blast. Not a bad drive to state line and grocery store. Only thing was that there was a lot of food in the fridge that was visibly spoiled. Other than that, it was a great spot on a quiet road that was plowed and clear. Just note there are stairs from the carport down to the house.
On the upside: We very much appreciated the location of the home, with fun right out the door, and good proximity to town and grander adventures. The house was well stocked and we loved that there was a guitar and a keyboard. The house has lovely views of the valley and was very comfortable.
We would have wished for more lighting in the house, especially in the bedrooms. We had some long delays in hearing back form the hosts while we were there (emails, texts) and we didn't get access to the game room until the last day of our trip. The game room was one of the perks with a pool table and dart board. Having some kind of welcome book with details of the working of the house would be an improvement.
Overall we had a nice experience, and would recommend for relaxed South Tahoe stay.
great location to access to heavenly ski resort and downtown. The house is cleaning and convenient for family and friends. The wi-fi speed is fast, tv signal is smooth. Overall, we took a great vacation in it. If you have some larger dinnerware for serving, such as large salad bowls, it will be better for 8 people.
We had such a peaceful time. The place was exactly as described. Great location for those seeking a quiet getaway but close enough to town for necessities. Accommodations were charming and there was plenty of space. Really enjoyed and would recommend to others.
We spent a few days at Cezar's palace and just loved it. The view from the deck is amazing, the location is perfect : 20 min drive from the lake, surrounded by a beautiful Tahoe forest, with miles and miles of peaceful gorgeous hiking trails. The house was clean and cozy, the beds comfortable, the kitchen reasonably well equipped. We will definitely try to go back, any season!
This property was a great choice for my friends and I for our music festival trip. There was plenty of sleeping space and good temperature control. The owners were very responsive to our needs. Only issue we had was there were scarce toilet paper and paper towels but that was an easy fix.
Thank you

Had a good time with the family.
The hills on each side of house made for some great sledding, & the open area behind was fun to play in. The down side was the beds were not comfortable and the lighting was bad in the main living area. All & all we had a great time.

Lacking in the light department but really gives you the cabin feel. Owner was communicative and helpful. Enjoyed it. Would come back.

Great Location! Great Place!
Cabin is in an awesome location, right on the edge of a quite forest. A bit away from the lake, but also away from all the traffic and craziness that goes with it. Pictures really don't do the place justice. It's spacious, well maintained, and very nice. Jeff was great to deal with through the entire process and very helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Great location, lots of space. Love it!
I was in a situation and was looking for a last minute place to spend the weekend at for my parents anniversary. The hosts were very accommodating and were willing to book their property on such short notice. The check in process was easy and the house was amazing. It's private with a huge deck looking at the mountains. It's very spacious inside and had an amazing pool room which the guys spent most of their time at. My parents and family had a great time at their place and will definitely be back. Thank you so much!

Great cabin with amazing views!
A group of 8 stayed in this cabin for the long President's day weekend. There was plenty of room for everyone and we all had privacy. The cabin has spectacular views with a huge deck and great windows. It also had all the comforts of home. Parking is convenient and it's located about 10 minutes from Heavenly Village. There wasn't any snow on the ground but the beautiful surroundings made up for it. I hope to return soon!

About the host
Hosted by Jeffrey Warrick
We live in Southern California and have been coming to the Sierras to escape the city for 15 years before finally finding a place to call our home away from home.
Why they chose this property
The meadows, river, hiking, snowmobiling right our back yard, and close proximity to ski resorts was the main reason we bought this house. We also love the neighborhood and the people that live there full time.
What makes this property unique
It backs up to endless miles of trails that go through four meadows that follow the Truckee river.
