Great place

We were pleasantly surprised with the condo. It was clean, comfy and close to Loveland Ski Area. We were a group of 5 adults and it worked out well. There were plenty of extra blankets and towels. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

Georgetown special

This was our second year in a row staying at Tom's place. It is conveniently located close to so many activities. Tom is very responsive to any thing that you need. Hope to stay again.

Homey little condo

Great one bedroom condo with a loft for the kids. Set in a quaint little town close to multiple ski areas. Comes with a great view of the mountain, where we saw wildlife on multiple occasions. Tom treated us with respect and really worked to make our visit enjoyable. We'd definitely stay here again.

Cozy small condo with pretty views.

This is not a first time for my family to stay at Georgetown during winter. We found the condo advertised for 5 persons but, as the owner pointed out later, it's rather appropriate for 2 adults and 2 children if they can be trusted with the steep staircase. I was charged extra for the 5th person but credited later as only four of us stayed there. The water tank provides enough water for about 3 regular showers and then it takes about an hour to heat up again. It takes some planning for the bathroom to work for more than 3 people. Kitchen is small with old refrigerator, newer stove/oven and microwave. Very few pots and no storage containers to speak of are available. The element inside the fridge was covered with thick block of ice and our food froze during the first night. There's very little counter space in the kitchen and the floor is covered with carpet which is not ideal. In a rush I put a hot oven shelf on the kitchen floor as there's really nowhere to put it except for bathtub. It cost me entire damage deposit because, I was told, the carpet had to be replaced in the entire kitchen (and that's a small area). If you like to cook, you may want to consider some other place. The inside of the condo is in good repair and has adequate furnishings. The wood stove is not working . There's plenty of good bedding available. Carpets needed cleaning. The air inside during the winter is very dry and we had suffered sore throats until I bought humidifiers for the bedrooms as the owner felt this was superfluous as well as a hair dryer. I have lived in Alberta, Canada for a long time and I know about indoor and outdoor air in frosty weather. I would recommend that the owner considers this a standard not a luxury and equips the condo with such necessities as other owners do. The laundromat was out of service when I took my laundry there and the owner sent me to the next little town which meant that I spent my evening hours (3 + hours) driving at night and babysitting my load of laundry. With wintry weather, the stairs and walkways are treacherous and on weekends the traffic can back up with cars slipping up the hill to get out of the complex. The owner is responsive via text/phone.

Great value

Wi-Fi was an issue all week long. Stupid long password was an incredible pain in the butt. 7 words plus spaces.

We enjoyed this condo, it was a great place to spend our Thanksgiving. Very quaint, cozy & comfortable. We have been visiting Georgetown for almost 10 years and this is by far the best place that we have stayed!

Great home away from home for our ski retreat

This was the second time we had spent a week at this condo visiting the Colorado ski slopes. We absolutely love the condo, the location in relation to the ski slopes, and the affordability. Thanks for allowing us to make your home away from home our home away from home. I would recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in the area and I know we will be back.

Great for ski getaway

I stayed here with my cousin for 4 nights and it was a great spot. Small town with a few places to eat, gas station, etc. Not a lot going on in Georgetown, but safe area close to the mountains. Owner was very easy to work with.

Cozy place. Very safe, quiet, convenient location to Denver, Loveland ski area.

The condo is about 50 minutes West of Denver on I-70, and 15 minutes East of the Loveland ski area. It's a very convenient location if skiing in Loveland. The condo was cozy, clean, had all we needed for a comfortable stay. The bedding was soft and warm. The condo had cable TV, a DVD player with plenty of DVDs, games, although we didn't use any of those. The area was very safe, we left the ski rentals in the car overnight without any problem. The neighborhood was very quiet. The owner Tom was very accommodating, let us check in early, quickly answered our text messages. We had problems connecting to wifi and texted Tom around 8:30pm. He immediately texted back instructing us to reset the router. He later texted again asking if we were able to connect. Although there's only one parking tag for the condo, we parked the 2nd car outside the parking lot on the other side of the street. It sat there for 3 days without any issue.

Perfect landing pad on the way to the mountains

We are a local family from Denver who love the affordability and proximity of Georgetown to the ski resorts. The ski condo is a perfect landing pad for us to avoid the traffic and maximize our time in the mountains. The owners were fantastic to work with and the condo was in great shape. We greatly appreciated the communication and flexibility of the owners. The property is small but well furnished and maintained. The only 'downside' for us was that there were only two TV channels and we could not connect to the wi-fi all weekend so that was a challenge (we had to use our phones as personal hot spots). We would bring our Apple TV or Roku next time! Also, there is only one parking spot/pass so plan ahead!

Really Cool Place

Georgetown, Colorado is a really cool place and I think I'll be going back often. Hiked Mt. Bierstadt and other trails in the area for a 3 day stay. Had a great home to come back to every night.

Better than Imagined!

This place was great! All you really need to do is show up with clothes to change. Quaint and nestled in the mountains, next to a great little fishing lake, and plenty of amenities to make a memorable weekend. For cheaper than a motel and 10 times better, I would highly recommend and I would not hesitate to book again. The beds were comfortable, and everything from food to toothpaste was provided. The spiral staircase leading up to the loft overlooking the living room was a nice touch! The deck on the back was great with an amazing view of the mountains. You owe it to yourself to give this place a try!

Cozy

The condo was great! It was only 15 minutes from Loveland Ski area. It was right next to a frozen lake which we had never experienced before! The lake was so frozen that we could run around on it! There was a spiral staircase that was super cute that lead to the loft. They even had box fans if we got hot. We would rent again!

Nice place is Georgetown

Nice and clean. You have all you need for a weekend at the slopes. The only one downside is the apt is located on the 3rd floor. Also, when receiving the address link, iPhone maps will take you to Loveland the city north of Denver, instead to Georgetown, unless the address comes with the zip code (we added 2,5 hours to our commute from Denver airport just because of this detail) Accommodations are good, kitchen well equipped and cozy decoration.

Very nice cozy affordable place to stay

The condo was perfect for my wife two teenage children and myself. Not to far from the slopes. Had everything we needed to fix our own meals saving on the trip expenses. Kids loved having the loft as their own place to hang out.

Excellent and helpful hospitality. Lodgings just as pictured. Perfect for what we needed. We arrived drained and tired, appreciated having all we needed at hand. Lovely refreshing view, which came as quite an underestimated surprise for weary travelers.
