Family Savannah Vacation

This home was beautiful and yet very comfortable and welcoming. My husband and I and our adult daughters and their families visited Savannah for the first time and enjoyed exploring the city. There were some record setting temps during our stay but this home was always a cool retreat. I have already recommended this home to a family member that is planning a Savannah trip.

Excellent option in the heart of Savannah

This cozy carriage house exceeded expectations. My teenage son and I traveled to Savannah to visit SCAD. We were within walking distance of everywhere we wanted to go. The home is very clean and well appointed with lovely touches for a homey feel. The owner Nancy is especially responsive and helpful. I highly recommend this property.

Girls' Weekend

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Host answered most questions in advance, and was a phone call away. Walking distance of park and restaurants, could stroll to town during daylight, cab ride home at night. Lots to do. Short ride over to the beach to drop younger girls for one day at the beach. Beautifully appointed house, almost regretted we weren't doing any cooking.

Beautiful!

Wonderful house. Very clean. Great ammenities. VERY comfortable beds. If you enjoy cooking in a nice kitchen, look no further. The house is a beautiful 15 minute walk to RiverStreet. My group parked our cars and basically didn't move them the whole weekend because we walked everywhere. There is even a Kroger just a few blocks from it. We also had no problem walking everywhere because the spring weather was AMAZING!! I would recommend this place to anyone.

Savannah veterans blown away by this amazing property

My husband and I have been to Savannah at least a dozen times staying in bed and breakfasts, luxury hotels and everything in between, but this property was simply amazing and blew everything else out of the water. Their photos do not do the property justice. We immediately felt right at home. We brought another couple along plus our fur-babies. The property is perfectly located super close to Forsyth Park and our favorite restaurant Local11Ten. Nancy and her husband helped us settle in. This property is close to several grocery stores but I promise you won't need much as they have plenty of the essentials like oils, salts, ketchup and such already there which is usually a wasted expense when you stay at other rental properties when you have to leave them behind. The bedrooms and bathrooms were well appointed with comfortable beds and great shower pressure (a must for us). The kitchen had everything we needed and more. We only wish we could have stayed longer. We will definitely stay here again when we come with friends.

Great location, newly renovated, and very affordable!

We were visiting Savannah for a car show so we didn't need to utilize the property very much since we were out and about during the day. The property is newly renovated and all the amenities have been upgraded including the bathrooms, floors, and ceiling fans. We had 4 adults who were not related so we could have used an additional sleeper sofa, but we made it work with the two queen beds. The loft room doesn't have a lot of privacy so be prepared to sleep in a more open area. It was great to have a kitchen even though we didn't need it since we left early and arrived late in the evening. My biggest issue was with parking. Although there is some street parking available it becomes very scarce later in the evening. Since we brought show cars we really needed covered, secured parking so we ended up parking at a friend's hotel garage. If you're not driving Uber rides to River St. and City Walk are only $8 - 10. When we arrived, our cable box wasn't working. As I mentioned, we weren't at the property very much so it wasn't an issue. However, Nancy was great in responding to the issue and had it fixed for us within 24 hours. Overall, a great stay but know that this property only sleeps 4 people, the living room has rather small furniture, and the parking is available, but not great. I'd definitely stay here again, just maybe not drive my show car down for the stay!

Perfect!

This property is a beautifully restored home. It was built in 1884 and located right in the historic district. It takes about 30 minutes to walk to the river but it's not a boring walk. No matter where you choose to walk to, there is always something to look at and see. It is a great location and it a couple of blocks away from a very nice park! The house itself is spectacular. The bedding feelings AMAZING! So soft. The owners keep the house stocked with "staples" that a cook would need. Another great thing is that they provide all linens and paper products. I hate when you rent somewhere and you still have to bring linens and/or paper products. We actually didn't end up using the sauna while we were there but if I do book this place again, I will have to get in. All of the beds are fairly large as well. I liked this place because it was actually very fitting to have 3 couples come and stay at. On my particular trip, I went with some girlfriends and we all shared beds, though. Last but not least, the owners of this property are extremely gracious and accepting. I had such an easy time dealing with Nancy. Given my young age, I tend to be discriminated against when trying to rent homes/condos. She was very adamant about learning about who would be staying at her house and I had a nice conversation with her on the phone. I also got to meet her husband when we met them at the house to get all the details of the house. Overall, this house is a great find. Great location, not too far to take taxis often, beautifully restored, super soft beds, and just great all the way around. If you don't book this place, you're definitely going to be missing out.

Great location for a weekend in savannah

The 2 bedroom apartment in a coach house is very comfortable and well equipped. It is close to everything The first night we walked to sand fly for takeout bbq. the first day we walked to Forsyth park and all the way downtown through the squares stopping g at clarys for crab cake eggs Benedict. For di n0r we walked to Cotton and Rye which was excellent. On the Sunday we took the free shuttle downtown and did the river walk, had lunch at the grey and oysters at sorry Charlie's. No need for a car when staying here. I would definately reccomend staying here

Great place and good location!

My sister and I recently rented this gorgeous property. It was perfect for the two of us. The property is nicely decorated and very clean. The owner, Nancy, was very easy to work with. Perfect!!

We were very pleased with the whole experience of staying at The Maian. Ivo and Nancy were very helpful and polite. They gave us suggestion of good bars and restaurants. The unit was very up to date, modern and clean! A couple of suggestions. And, probably peculiar to us we’d like to of had some sharp knives and shades over the upstairs bedroom. Pleasant stay!

PERFECT SAVANNAH PLACE

We so enjoyed our stay in this PERFECT carriage house. The hosts Nacy and Ivo were so warm and welcoming and gave us a heads up on places to go. The location is one block off Forsyth Square and is again PERFECT.. And finally the accomodations were beautiful, lovely design, bright and extremely well done...PERFECT. Comfortable, lovely and quiet

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this carriage house. It was very comfortable and well set-up for 4 adults. It was a great location: close enough to easily walk everywhere but not right in the thick of things, and hence peaceful and quiet. Kitchen well-appointed -- it would be easy too cook a full meal here. We ate in for all breakfasts. Living room furniture, especially sofa, is on the small side -- not great for lounging. Finally my one complaint is not about the place (we would happily return), but the differential between the advertised price when one first sees this VRBO listing and the final, price -- which was almost 50% more than initial list price. Moreover, the "add-ons" are not all visible upfront, but appear sequentially as one completes the VRBO request. This leaves me with a bad taste for VRBO's process.
