About this property

1st Floor Directly on Beach - Free beach set-up daily

Crystal Sands 108A is a 1st floor beachfront unit. Open the patio door and you are steps from the white sand and waves! No parking garage or elevators with this unit. Park right in front of the building, enter with your digital lock code and start your vacation.

**1st floor unit** is very convenient when you are lounging at the beach and want grab something from the unit! You can sit on the patio and keep an eye on the kids on the beach. Crystal Sands is a low rise (3 story) condo.

This unit includes one **complimentary** beach set-up each day (two chairs and one umbrella). Watch the dolphins swim (yes, we see them a lot) while you sit on the patio listening to the waves! There is a pool on the front side of the building with lounge chairs as well. Our building has two grilling areas at each end of the boardwalk (4 grills total), so grilling a steak or burgers is no problem.

We remodeled the unit in 2014 with all new paint, cabinets, furniture, mattresses, and appliances. We have all the latest electronics, new LED smart TVs (netflix, disney), 55' in living room, and 42' in bedroom, Sound Bar with Bluetooth to sync your favorite music, and a Blu-Ray DVD player. Unit includes free Wireless Internet.

Our kitchen has granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and is fully furnished with cookware and utensils. We have a Keurig on the countertop, so just bring your K-cups (Mr. Coffee in cabinet if needed). New full size LG high efficiency washer and dryer for any clothes or towels you may want to wash.

Our unit is comfortable, casual, and very clean. Sleeps 4 with a King in the master suite and twins in the hallway bunks. We love to spend time here and we hope you do too!!!

We started renting our unit in 2014. We purchased 301A in 2025. This unit has 2 bedrooms if you need additional rooms (VRBO 4506784).

Great Beach Spot!

My family stayed for 7 days. The space was very clean and well equipped for our stay. It is a great location just minutes away from stores and restaurants. The private beach is a 30 second walk from the back door. Daily beach chairs and umbrellas are provided free of charge. If you are looking for a beach vacation this is the spot! We would highly recommend!

Fourth year and still fabulous!

This was our fourth year at Linda’s condo and it was just as wonderful as ever! It’s the perfect size for our family (two kids and a baby). The condo was clean and the location absolutely cannot be beat!

This unit is perfect, the host thought of every detail you might need. You are right on the beach, just steps away which was perfect for our 6 and 9 year olds to run back and grab lunch or take a break from the sun. The chair service was excellent. Highly recommend and would stay here again!

The Crystal Sands condo was exactly as shown. We had a great location to the beach and of the gulf. It was very clean, too. The owners were easy to get a hold of when we checked in. We also liked the beach set up every morning.

Great place in Destin!

We loved the location of this unit as well as the attention to detail and care the owners have shown their place. We have stayed in VRBO's all over the world, and this was one of the easiest and most pleasant experiences of any of them. It was nice being able to go back and forth from the beach so easily, parking was always available, and the Whole Foods opening right across Hwy 98 offered a convenient and healthy option for quick meals and snacks. We'll be back!

Beach Getaway

If you want convenience to the beach, this is the place! The boardwalk to beach was directly to the left of sliding glass doors and patio with two showers to wash the sand off. The only reason I gave four stars on cleanliness is the toilet seats were in need of a little cleaning. Other than that it was very clean everywhere else. The kitchen was completely stocked with everything you need. The bed was very comfortable. There are two bunk beds down hallway if needed. Modern washer and dryer was very handy. We had a great time and hope to go again sometime.

The Perfect Vacation Spot

How do you know you’ve had the perfect vacation? You and your family know you are where you need to be when mid week the only thing bad about your vacation is you find yourselves counting days/hours dreading the end. This room comfortable accommodated a family of four. Local shopping was close enough for us to attain within minutes yet, was far enough away to keep the sanctitude of a vacation spot. The room is located in a manner that allows for easy to and from without having to use steps and elevator. The location also allows for a communal atmosphere as when you are sitting on patio you may acknowledge those staying and meet travelers looking for the same getaway. We have no complaints and look forward to our next visit - specifically in this room - anything else would feel … sub par. Kansas City Love!

Why they chose this property

We have been coming to Crystal Sands for years with our boys because it was the perfect condo and area for us. They loved the beach and pool in the daytime and hunting for crabs at night. The go-carts, waterpark, arcades, and fun restaurants are all close by for a fun night. We always had plenty of room for them to bring their friends. My family all love to go deep sea fishing and we love the fresh fish from these excursions. The kids are grown now and we are happy to have the condo now for weekend getaways.

What makes this property unique

Beautiful views, directly on the beach, yet close to everything. This is a unique quite area but minutes away from fantastic shopping, dining, and family fun! Destin is known for its fishing and the fresh seafood can't be beat. It is our favorite spot for relaxing and recharging.
