About this property

This is a beautiful 2 bedroom house on the hillside just outside of the village of Seatons. It is located just up the hill from the shared pool and dock, in the gated community of Parsons-Maules. Just below the shared pool is a small beach, in the naturally beautiful and untouched Belfast Bay. Every room has a view of the ocean, and there is often a breeze that flows through the house at night - hence the name.

Nice to be away from resort atmosphere

We enjoyed the unique experience of living in a quiet, residential areas where we were able to chat amicably with the locals, and start to feel right at home. It's a totally different experinece from staying in a hotel or resort area. We enjoyed the independence of a completely self-catering holiday, as well as the comforts of home. The house is close to beautiful Long Bay Beach (about 10 minutes' drive), but a bit far if one wishes to access the west coast or St. John's. However, there is a lovely, little grocer's within minutes, although not as large a selection as the larger, grocery stores. Another nice feature were the weekend roadside food stands (quite delicious) which showed up everywhere, including this neighbourhood. Lovely views, great for afternoon walks, pet-friendly. The owner was very kind in trying to fulfill all our requests, and also provided us with a cell phone.
