Peaceful getaway in a beautiful home set in a park like setting. Clean, comfortable house set on a few well groomed acres with a lovely garden and pond. The occasional car passing on the road was the only noise aside from frogs, birds and crickets. Lovely place.
This house was exactly as presented. Comfortable and stocked with anything and everything we needed. Incredible property with views of a meadow and distant mountains right out the kitchen window. We saw loads of birds, including a heron on the pond. The trails and the creek were fun to explore. Weston shops are a short drive away. Highly recommend choosing Evergreen- the Meehan family is happy we did.
3rd visit. Feels like home, or the home I wish I had. Sleepy area. Beautiful grounds with lots of butterflies and mountain views. Please let me know if it's ever for sale!
My husband and I rented the lower half of Brad's cabin. The beds were comfortable, it was very quiet and the heat worked well. The property has lovely paths and streams. We would have preferred to pay a small cleaning fee rather than rushing to clean up and replace the linens on the beds before departing.
My husband and I stayed at this property for a weekend with our two dogs. The property was really awesome and the house was comfortable. We would definitely consider returning and would recommend this rental home for anyone who loves the outdoors and exploring states.
A wonderful, rustic, out-of-the-way 2nd floor apartment that was just what I needed for an affordable few days away. I appreciated the kitchen with all of the things to cook with. The bedrooms would be tough for anyone over 5'4", and I didn't realize I would be responsible for laundry and cleaning until I arrived and read the letter left for me. The property mgr was wonderful and the property itself was gorgeous!
Great location near many nice, small towns. Disc golf nearby and breweries and restaurants. Edge of the national forest so great hiking available as well. Nice base for enjoying a few days in Vermont.
This house was great. We stayed for 2 nights in the downstairs portion. Just 3 of us. 2 adults and 1 child. The downstairs unit would have easily accommodated sleeping for 7. Wood burning stove was a nice touch as it was really cold our first night there. Would love to go back in the winter, I bet it is gorgeous. The grounds are very nice with lots of walking trails and a small stream that flows through. Overall a really nice place to stay.
This house and its beautiful grounds were basically a paradise for my wife and I. Better than the pictures would suggest. The 3BR downstairs was more than spacious for a couple, and worked out great when we had 4 guests for a few nights. The house is comfortable and has charm, though a few minor repairs/upgrades would make it even better. Kitchen had everything we needed, good sized dining and living areas and a nicely updated bathroom. The star of the show though is the outdoor part of the property. I enjoyed many strolls along small trails, flowers and greenery everywhere. The stream that passes through the property is so nice as well and just deep enough for a dip on a hot day. Our host Brad was great to deal with start to finish, and we hope to be repeat visitors!
I stayed here 3 nights while hiking in the Green Mountains - the location is convenient to a bunch of different hikes (and also gorgeous drives!). The space is well equipped and had everything I could have needed to cook and the grounds are GORGEOUS. It's very dark and very quiet at night, so I also slept unusually well. This place is truly a retreat! Thank you, Brad!
Beautiful location, speaking from a woman’s perspective this house needed a little updating
Nice .. House needed a little updating, the only place that was updated was the bathroom... .. beautiful soundings ..Fireplace beautiful .. .. I’m a big VRBO user & this house was the first that did not get 5stars .. sorry 😐..
This was the first time we ever did an air bob and we loved it. We enjoyed all the amenities on the property such as the fire pit, and the bbq grill.
Will diffidently will book again
We loved our stay at Brad’s home over the Labor Day weekend! The home was very well kept and clean. The property was beautiful and the little river that was steps away from the property was breathtaking! Brad was a pleasure to communicate with and was available during our stay, when we had questions! Thank you!
Finding this place was like finding a treasure. But only if you like peace and quiet and the sound nature

Family Retreat
Brad's property is the perfect spot for some quiet time away with the family. This is just what we needed before the hustle and bustle of the summer season. The bathroom was upgraded since our last visit and looks great. The property is stellar. Who wouldn't want trails to explore, a serene walk to the river, and a small pond with a camp fire?
