The location is great. It’s up three flights of stairs no elevator and of course with the altitude it’s very difficult carrying your luggage up three flights of stairs. The bathrooms are small as are some of the bedrooms but on the website it does say it’s 900 ft.². It was very hot. The only way you could cool off the place is to open your windows or the doors but the lady that owns it answer the phone easily the washer and dryer on the second level. They should let you know it’s coin operated so you could bring plenty of quarters with you.
Outstanding location….2 minute walk to the lifts, numerous restaurants, pizza, market and anything else you might need.Combined with gracious hosts, and this a must stay for anyone. We will be back!
The condo was in the perfect location for skiing and for non-skiers as well. Right in the heart of Lionshead- steps to the gondola, shops and restaurants. Condo was lovely and living space was bigger than pictures looked. Kitchen was fully equipped. Owner was responsive and helpful- even offered to late us stay late due to weather. Would definitely stay again!
My family and I had a great stay this past week. The condo is really close to the lifts which was most important to us. The host was communicating with me before our arrival and was super responsive when I had a question. The only thing I would clarify on the listing is that the washer/dryer are in the building, not the unit itself. That being said, it was super easy to access and def not a deal breaker. Would definitely stay here again.
My stay was unbelievable. This condo is perfectly located to access all corners of the mountain, the market for groceries if you wanna cook your own food and plenty of restaurants if you'd like to eat out. Landlord communicated with me even when they were on the mountain! Perfect experience, every whoch way. I will definitely stay here again in the future. Thanks for a great stay!
We were in Vail for the first time for a family wedding so we stayed for the week to hike and explore. I was in contact with Anne ( owner) via email prior and all of her advice was SPOT on! She assured us we did not need to rent a car b/c we were flying into the local airport and could walk everywhere or take the free bus. It was so easy to get around and everything we needed was near the condo. The free parking spot that comes with the condo is a GREAT asset...we did not use it, but parking in Vail/Lionshead village is at a premium and overnight parking is very expensive.
The condo is small and cozy but had everything we needed. I requested a full length mirror ( I was going to several dressy events with the wedding) and it delivered that afternoon! The kitchen had all of the basic pots/pans/appliances (we prepared breakfast and lunches at home) plus coffee grounds, an array of spices, and a drawer with Saran Wrap, foil, ziplock bags etc. It worked great for us! There is a “market” about a block from the condo that had a nice assortment of food products ( fresh and packaged) as well as alcohol. So convenient!!
This condo is not “new and modern” but it is clean and comfy and we loved it. The location cannot be beat, especially it you plan to ski or hike and want to be in the Vail village area. We hope to come back next fall and stay in it again (with friends this time) to hike again.
Condo not good for seniors: too many exterior steps and showers required step up to enter
We stayed at this condo for a concert at the Gerald Ford Amphitheater. We found the location convenient, especially with the grocery market so close. We drove to the concert rather than walking.
Please note that the showers could be challenging to get in and out of for guests will mobility limitations due to the large steps up into them.
Great place, but there is nothing in the description of the property to indicate (a) that it's on the third floor and there is no elevator and (b) that it does not have air conditioning. The bathtub in the master bath and the shower in the other bath are elevated and not easy to get in and out of. It was a good stay and a very nice place, but the omission from the description of the property of things that could be trip-ending for many people was frustrating.
I knew we'd be close to Lionshead Village but didn't expect to be right in the heart of it! The location is fabulous and the layout worked perfectly for us. I called the host with a few questions as we were checking in and she was very responsive and helpful. We had great 70 degree weather but can see that it might get a little toasty inside with higher outdoor temps. Highly recommend!
Great location. Clean and well stocked. Parking and finding the unit was a little confusing. Once we found everything we enjoyed our stay. Can’t beat the location.
This location cannot be beat! It is walkable to everything and the market is a few steps away making grabbing groceries and drinks very convenient. We walked to Vail Village several times, watched the parade (you could see the parade right in front of the building) and we had a perfect view of the fireworks just a 2 min walk. The unit has a very European feel to it so it fits in very well with the village. There were some spiderwebs on the chandelier and around the windows but otherwise clean. It was a wonderful stay and I would recommend to anyone!

Disappointingly Crappy
Overall, there was just so much that was not well thought out. We were left with the distinct impression we were there simply to line someone’s pockets. So many corners cut, bare minimums achieved; some missed.
Beautiful condo. Host was very attentive and easy to reach. I only wish it had been cold enough to have a fire in the living room. It was a cozy set-up and it's rare to have a wood-burning fireplace in a rental! Location can't be beat!

Almost 45 years ago my parents taught me to ski at the age of 2 on the greatest ski mountain; Vail, Colorado. I've spent a lifetime enjoying this sport. My husband and I have continued this family tradition and taught both our sons to ski early on as well. Skiing has become such a wonderful way for our family to spend time together. On Valentines day of 2014 we were proud to become the owners of this wonderful residence at the base of our favorite mountain.
