Great house in Provence. We had an amazing week driving around Provence villages and having dinners on tarrace and swimming in the pool.

Provence Paradise!

This house was absolutely perfect for our family holiday. There were 13 of us from age 15 to 75 (and two dogs). Plenty of room to accommodate large group. Lots of room to all sit round table outside (and inside if you want to). Close to excellent boulangerie (15 minute walk) and great restaurant/pizzeria. Pascale very accommodating. Merci beaucoup!

Good.

Pascal was very responsive and we had a great welcome and availability form Lieve. 2 lovely bottles of wine welcomed us. The location is fantastic for cycling and the village has a great Italian. The property is in need of a bit of love to make it a great property and I can see pascal addresses issues quickly. We did enjoy our stay, great view from balcony, lovely pool although some tiles were falling off. Overall a little decorative TLC required for a potentially great house.

Group accommodation

The house is very spacious but the bathrooms are very outdated. The bathroom in the basement has no shower, only a bathtub without a plug. The big bedroom upstairs has a very unstable bed, not comfortable. The 5th woodenleg under the bed The kitchen is well stocked but the filters of the hood/fan are extremely greased and dirty. The pool is nice, good temperature. Very short walk to small supermarket, bakkery and italian restaurant in town.

Memorable family stay in a beautiful setting

We enjoyed a very memorable stay in Mormoiron with our extended family, ranging from age 8-79. Pascal welcomed us with two bottles of Rosé from the local region, which was a very nice gesture and much appreciated. He was also responsive to any questions/issues we raised during our stay, for example, providing additional pillows, regulating the pool temperature and recommending places to visit. The earlier than arranged check-out, though, was a bit rushed. The house itself is charming and full of character. However, some facilities could do with updating eg kitchen, play area (which was unsafe), poolside area and the separate WCs as they had no hand basins. All in all though the facilities are good, with table tennis and boules as well as the pool to keep everyone entertained. The balcony overlooking the pool is beautiful and made for some magical family mealtimes. The location is perfect. The village of Mormoiron is lovely and the house is a 3-minute walk from the bakery, other shops and a couple of restaurants. Also within walking distance is a peaceful lake with a sandy beach, with the added bonus of an amazing high ropes course. And for wine tasting, you're spoilt for choice. Overall we had a great experience in a beautiful setting, which we will always remember.

Noël à Mormoiron

Maison spacieuse qui nous a permis de nous retrouver en famille pour un Noël à Mormoiron. Très sympathique accueil du propriétaire Pascal, sublime feu d'artifice de la commune samedi soir. La situation est idéale pour découvrir les villages dans la région du Mont Ventoux.

Ondanks de kou een warme vakantie gehad met de familie

De (vroege) ontvangst door Lieve was hartelijk. De eigenaar liet meteen een mixer aanrukken voor de maaltijd van de baby. Het huis voldeed aan onze wensen: ieder een eigen slaapkamer, eigen badkamer, grote tuin, mooi zwembad, goede keuken, leuk dorpje, airco die gelukkig de ruimtes warm hield. Het is een authentiek groot huis, wat charme heeft, maar daardoor ook oud is met wat kleine, maar voor ons niet storende, gebreken.

Tolle Unterkunft für kleine Gruppen

Das Haus in Mormoiron bietet 7 Schlafzimmer, 4 Bäder, 5 Toiletten, eine Küche und ein großes Wohn-, Esszimmer. Der Pool ist 8*4 m groß und war eines der Highlights. Es gibt auch eine TT- Platte, kostenloses WLAN, einen Holzkohlegrill und eine großen Garten mit Schaukel. Bettwäsche und Handtücher wurden gestellt. Die Ausstattung der Küche war einwandfrei. Es war alles da, was man mit 14 Personen benötigt. 2 große Kühlschränke, große Töpfe und ausreichend Geschirr und Besteck. Auch Stauraum gibt es reichlich. Das Haus liegt zentral in Mormoiron, so dass die Bäckerei, die Pizzeria und der kleine Supermarkt fußläufig zu erreichen sind. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und haben den Urlaub genossen. Der Vermieter ist auch sehr nett und umgänglich.

Ein Traum von Urlaub

Das Haus macht einen sehr gepflegten Eindruck. Alle Zimmer sind liebevoll im provencialischen Stil eingerichtet. Die Küche enthält alle nötigen Geräte(Wasserkocher, Mikrowelle, Toaster, Kaffeemaschine) und ist ausreichend mit Geschirr und Kochutensilien bestückt. Der Pool ist sauber und groß genug zum richtigen schwimmen. Der Gastgeber hat trotz Abwesenheit für einen sehr freundlichen und kompetenten Empfang gesorgt und hat uns am Vorabend der Abreise freundlich verabschiedet. Im Haus liegt auch eine Mappe mit Restaurant- und Ausflugstipps aus. Hinterm Haus ist auf dem abgeschlossenen Grundstück genügend Platz für mehrere Autos. Eine Schaukel für Kinder, eine Tischtennisplatte und ein Bouleplatz sorgen für genügend Abwechslung. Insgesamt alles bestens und nur zu empfehlen.

Ventoux 2022

Urlaub mit Familie (8 Personen). Großzügiges Haus wie in der Beschreibung. Pool mit Liegen hervorragend geeignet zum relaxen. Großzügiger Balkon/Terrasse hervorragend geeignet um die Mahlzeiten einzunehmen. Bei dem schönen Wetter im September immer draußen gesessen ! Genügend Platz um das Haus herum z. B. auch PKW-Parkplätze, Rasenfläche..... Küche vom Geschirr/Töpfe sehr gut ausgestattet, Minuspunkt jedoch nur eine (verkalkte) Kaffeemaschine. Bäder haben noch Renovierungspotenzial. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Radtouren...auch auf den Mont Ventoux ! Im Ort guter Bäcker und nette Lokale mit gutem Essen. Insgesamt gelungener Urlaub !

Get together in Mormoiron

We had an excellent stay in Mormoiron after a 3 year family reunion gap! We are a 3 generation family and each of us was able to enjoy the holiday at our own rythm, satisfying specific needs and tastes. The house is rustic but very comfortable and is such that one can isolate oneself as per one’s wishes. The terrace overlooking the swimming pool with a view on to the adjacent hills is a wonderful convivial meeting place for meals or watching stars at night. The kitchen is very well equipped and can cater for large numbers. The proximity of basic shops and the charming ‘Bar de la Liberté’ are nice bonuses.

Huis was proper en de bedden waren opgemaakt bij aankomst. Goede uitleg bij aankomst. Ook tijdens het verblijf, konden wij de conciërge Lieve bereiken wanneer we vragen hadden. Klein minpuntje, één kamer boven zonder airco.

Jubileumvakantie Mont Ventoux

Door corona hebben wij ons tienjarig jubileumfeest van 10 vakanties in Frankrijk, meer bepaald de Provence en de Mont Ventoux steeds in de onmiddellijke nabijheid, pas 2 jaar later kunnen vieren. De vakantiewoning in Mormoiron was een geschikte uitvalsbasis om onze activiteiten van de jubileumeditie te kunnen doen. Wij hebben genoten van de zon, het zwembad, de omgeving, de Mont Ventoux en de gastronomie in de onmiddellijke omgeving. Het was een zeer geslaagde jubileumvakantie.

Prince family week away.

The property was the prefect size for our family of 10 aged from 11 to 75. The pool was amazing, as the temperature was over 30 degrees on all days so it was great to cool off in. The outside eating area was a nice place for us to all eat together. The location was amazing. Close to Bedouin and carpentras both easily reached by bus and only a short drive to mount ventoux. The village has a shop and a small bakery which is open from 6.40am and serves lovely croissants, bread etc. there is also a bar that makes its own ice cream, which is very tasty! Overall we had a great time! Thank you.
