What a view

Our cottage provided a breathtaking view of Green Bay and even included the sound of waves to lull us to sleep. Fall colors were at their peak and we loved the forest around the cottage.

Beautiful view

Nice quiet location. Not too far of a drive from all door county towns. Especially liked that we had wifi service. Nice new tv. Galley kitchen and small bathroom but much nicer than a motel and the water front view and fire ring is the main attraction.

Perfect location for a couples weekend away

Loved this property! From the dog-friendliness, to the bike access, and of course, sunsets over the lake. I definitely recommend for a weekend retreat of rest and relaxation. While, as noted, there is no WiFi, there is a smart tv with streaming available for entertainment. The location is just a short drive to anything you would want to see in Door county.

Birthday weekend!

We had a wonderful stay! However, I don’t think the grass has been mowed for 3 or 4 weeks and tree limbs hang way down touching car as you come in driveway.

Breathtaking views

This was such a cute little cottage. Perfect for our group of 4. Beds were comfortable. Everything was visually pleasing. Well stocked. Owner took the time to fill planters with spring flowers. Area was quiet and peaceful . Wasn’t too far from the town where there were lots of cute little shops and bars. And the sunset views were stunning!! Didn’t like how far out of the way we had to drive to check in but that was a minor detail. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful site right on the Bay!

Nice small yard with fire pit right on the bay! Beautiful sunsets and good location! Beautiful state and county parks in the area! I imagine it’s a lot more populated in warmer months but we loved the peace and quiet! Cabin is small and cozy and very clean! It had everything we needed!

Cozy Cottage

Cozy cottage, perfect for a short friends getaway. The water is just a few feet away, and the sound of the waves lulled us to sleep at night. Awesome sunsets. Cottage is small but clean and well stocked, even with extras like hand sanitizer, hand soap, etc. and plenty of extra towels and toiletries. Enjoyed our short time here!!

Nostalgic Getaway

As a kid we came up to Door County every summer and stayed in a family owned cottage in Baileys Harbor. The location and view of this cottage were spectacular but it is very small. If it rains and you’re stuck inside like I was, it can be quite uncomfortable. The furniture is small and uncomfortable as well. Ideally when you come to DC you’re out and about most of the time. In that case this is a perfect place to rest and relax between “outings.”

Just what we needed

This little cottage was perfect for our stay. A place to eat and sleep with the bare necessities. The place was right on the bay so you could look out the back door and watch the water hit the rocks. The backyard is perfect to sit and hang out. It stormed a bit while we were there but the little place held up fine and we hunkered down safe and sound.

Cozy cottage - small but mighty

This cottage is cozy but has everything you need. It's small, but you won't miss the space. With expansive views of the bay and only steps to the water/ice, you will have a big experience regardless. We enjoyed our winter excursions - it's a short drive to a lot of what's going on in Door County.

Charming cottage

Charming cottage on the shore of Green Bay. Very clean. Had all we needed. We enjoyed the weekend. I would have made clear that there was no inside table to eat at. Table and chairs on the deck, but this time of year is usually not warm enough. Cute place though!

Girls weekend

Cozy little cottage, very clean and so close to the water that the spray from the waves hit the sliding glass door!! Check in location isn't on site (about 8 to10 minutes away). The website check in and out times don't match the reservation (I'm guessing due to changes with covid and needed cleaning time needed?) They included a nice little package of the fixings needed for stores too! Would stay at this property again.

Spectacular Location

These three cabins sit right on Green Bay at Little Harbor. The view is amazing. Our labrador retriever had plenty of time swimming. There isn't a beach, but it is possible to walk down some smaller rocks to the water (bring your water shoes!) The bay is shallow and most of the tijme calmer than the surrounding water. The dock is not sturdy enough for boats. We stayed at Starboard Cottage. It's a vintage cabin, with a small kitchen and microwave, coffeemaker, toaster, stove, refrigerator, counter with two stools, dishes, pots and pans, and utensils. The living room has been renovated and has a sofa and two chairs, tv and fireplace. The bedrooms have one full-sized bed and one dresser each, with a rack to hang clothes. The bathroom has a shower and plenty of nice towels and supplies. The cottage was clean and comfortable. There are four adirondack chairs outside, a table and chairs with umbrella, a fire ring and a charcoal grill. We enjoyed sunsets, campfires, star-gazing, and watching the boats and pelicans. We even saw a mink running around on the rocks. The cabin is right on Bay Shore Drive, but sheltered from the road by trees and in a quiet area. It's a bit of a drive (or a nice bike ride) into town, but we liked it that way. There is access to hiking up the bluff nearby. Route 42 is a short drive away. We had an amazing vacation here, and we'll be back!

This cottage was perfect for our week stay in Door County. It was small but whose really spending time inside when you visit, not me!! The beds were comfy, the kitchen was stocked enough to fix a meal, and there were plenty of great smelling towels in the bathroom!! The view was spectacular everyday. We were home with a fire built, a cocktail in hand every evening to watch the GOURGEOUS sunsets!! We chose to stay here because of its location. We wanted to cruise all of Door County, take a ferry to Washington Island, and ride down to Milwaukee (2 1/2 hrs ) and Green Bay ( 1hr) It was perfect for that. There is a lot to and see and do! One must get a fresh baked cherry pie, do some wine tastings, and eat some (or a lot of) cheese curds!! The best curds were at Shipwrecked in Egg Harbor! There are plenty of shops and art all over. Don't forget to check out the goats on the roof in Sister Bay!! If you have never taken a ferry, DO IT! It goes from Gills Rock to Washington Island. The trip is about 20 minutes and the island is beautiful!! Have lunch at Karley's when you arrive! There is so much to do and see, a week wasn't enough! However after a day doing what you want, come back to this cottage, build a fire, grab a beverage of choice and watch the most beautiful sunsets ever!! IT WAS A GREAT TIME!! THANKS
