This is a New (2013) home. Go here for video: https://vimeo.com/93327945 Deck views of Rappahannock, friendly neighbors, relax to small town vibe. 2 bedrooms & fold out couch.2 Baths.2 floors. Prefer no pets, BUT, will consider well-behaved, small dogs, thanks. All appliances & fixtures new with ample storage available throughout home.Excellent Wifi available-3D TV w/ great sound system, so bring fave CDs,DVDs. Recommendations of local wine & dine places provided. Waterman's Park is less than a block away. NOTE that Urbanna is an excellent area for visiting WILLIAMSBURG / YORKTOWN / JAMESTOWN to the south AND WASHINGTON, DC area to the north!!!!! The Main Thing is CHILLAX! (chill/relax-get it?). THAT can be a sure thing in Urbanna. My wife & I hope you enjoy a fun & relaxing stay @ The Blue Tango!

Writing Retreat

Great getaway!

Lovely little cottage right across from the Rappahannock River. Very quaint area, people there very friendly. Ate at Urbanna Seafood & Market while there. Beautiful setting on the water, and good food!! Highly recommend the Blue Tango!

Wonder place to relax and a great deal

This is a perfect place to stay to relax and enjoy great small town feel and good choice of restaurants close by. Will definitely make this a return visit in the future.

Great small town property

My kids and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Blue Tango over Columbus Day weekend. With Kings Dominion and Busch Gardens as our ultimate destinations, this was a perfect midway point to make for a short drive to each park. Although we didn't spend much time in and right around Urbanna, the town was very quaint with beautiful views of the river. Look forward to coming back again soon.

,everything was good except the steps were were Hard on us as we were 83 yrs old. Also it may help to put things in the bathroom to help getting in and out.

Urbanna weekend

We came to town to visit with friends and enjoy the parade events. The house was perfect for our needs and very well stocked with anything we needed. It was a cold weekend and it would have been very nice to use the gas fireplace in the living room (but it is only for decoration). The house does have a regular coffee maker and a Keurig, which isn't in the listing but nice to have. The only negatives were stains on the towels and the Only Entry door was very difficult to lock (we struggled with this each time we left the home).

Chat bot comms

I had multiple communications that I concluded were a Chat-BOT rather than the actual property owner or manager. We tried many times to confer with the owner that there was no means of locking the door to secure this unit, as the keypad did not have an exterior locking function, and the only other door to the house was a deadbolt with no key, meaning there was no way to lock the door from the inside and exit the property. I received only repeat messages that didn’t address the issue. The location was good and the space would be ok for a small group. We had three kids and it was not enough room to spread out without being in everyone else’s space.The second bedroom was off the garage downstairs.

Quaint and peaceful

We enjoyed staying at the Blue Tango for its peace and quiet and water views. It's a great place for a couple or a small family.

Placement of the bed in the ground floor bedroom is interesting and difficult to get to the closet other than that a pretty little place. We did enjoy our stay and thank you.

Fantastic home in a beautiful quaint little town.

The Blue Tango is exactly as shown in the pictures. We really enjoyed our stay! The beds were super comfortable and the house just as cozy as can be!

A Perfect Place

Blue Tango in Urbanna, Virginia was the perfect place for our stay. The house was lovely, the neighborhood was beautiful, and it was just a short drive to any place we wanted to be in this lovely little yachting town. We enjoyed the shops, but were very sorry we didn't have time to eat in all the tempting restaurants.

Blue Tango was great

We had a very nice start in Urbanna. The property was nice and description was accurate. Kitchen had everything we needed, needs were comfy and bathrooms clean. Very nice place.

Home Away From Home

This was our second visit to Blue Tango and it won't be our last! Super comfortable house in a lovely neighborhood with a waterfront park. We love that there are bikes available too!

Dog-Friendly Perfection

I was so happy to find a great property that could accommodate my dog. The fenced side-yard made my dog happy. The location is peaceful and convenient to everything in the area. The house is clean, comfortable, and perfect for a small group.

Coming back! Easy and relaxing

Blue Tango was the prescription we needed to destress and escape with our pet, while not breaking the bank. It was so peaceful to stroll through the neighborhood and enjoy the river views, town history, BBQ, and local farmers’ meat shop/coffee stop. Hope to take advantage of the BT hospitality again.

If I could rate this property 10 stars, I certainly would. The house was exactly as shown in the pics and video, and perfect for our family & friends. We were amazed by the cleanliness and organization of the home in general. The kitchen had everything we needed, utility room was fully stocked with linens and towels, and even has a washer & dryer (we didn’t use it but it was great to have the option if we were staying longer). Water views from the upper deck and property in general are beautiful and good for the soul. We will be back!!

Cute house near the water

This was such a sweet house! We had a girl's weekend away here and it was perfect. Plenty of places to walk to that were only a short walk away; Water access (yay! The docks seem to be the neighbors personal property), farmer's market when in season (I think we caught the last week!), antique shops, thrift shops, cute bars and stores. The next door neighbors were very sweet and there is even a little fenced in area if you bring your pet. I'd recommend this vacation home to anyone.

Great place for a quick winter getaway

Nice, quiet place to spend a few days away from it all. Perfect size for two people, but the downstairs bedroom/bath could have easily worked for another couple or a few kids. Everything as described. Didn't use the kitchen much, but nicely apportioned. Nice video system for a movie night. Quick response from the owner to a minor question. Lots more going on in Urbanna in the Spring/Summer months--but this was perfect for a 30th anniversary get-away.
