Two Weeks in Festalemps

Beautifully clean property in wonderful garden filled with magnificent trees. Comfortable beds with duvet and extra pillows; three spacious bath or shower rooms (mind your head on the low beams upstairs between bed and bath) and there is plenty of storage/hanging space for clothes Extra blankets thoughtfully provided for colder nights and a cooling fan for the warmer ones. The pool and outside dining area/BBQ are wonderful with a feeling of space and enhanced with colourful planting including herbs and roses along one side of the swimming pool. Annie and Pierre are lovely hosts, provided a generous welcome pack and we’re on hand if we needed anything. An enjoyable stay - many thanks Annie and Pierre. A bientôt.

Wonderful holiday in a stunning location

My husband and I and our 3 young children enjoyed 10 fantastic days holiday at Annie and Pierre's Gite in late August. They made us feel so welcome and accommodated everything they could, without being intrusive. The house is beautiful, extremely well renovated and well appointed with lots of style and home comforts. It is in a peaceful location without being too remote from the local area, as Riberac and Aubeterre-Sur-Dronne are very accessible, as is the river at St Aulaye and the freshwater lake at La Jemaye. The pool and garden were wonderful for our children and we used the barbeque virtually every night. In short I cannot recommend this property enough and we intend to stay again next year to see Annie and Pierre again as they were such kind and hospitable people.

Beautiful farmhouse in French countryside.

We loved our stay in this house. It is located in a rural area, but with easy access to Riberac, which has got all amenities and a lovely market on Friday morning. Pierre and Annie were very welcoming and gave us a lot of local information, but at the same time respected our privacy. We enjoyed the river, where we went on canoe trip, we visited Bordeaux, and caves with pre-historic paintings. The pool was the cherry on the cake. We would love to visit again.

Gîte magnifique au grand confort

Nous avons passé 2 semaines inoubliables dans ce gîte au grand comfort. Annie et Pierre, les propriétaires très chaleureux, logent juste à côté du gîte mais sont très discrets et sont aux petits soins à tout moment. Un service impeccable est offert par eux, même un apéro sympa pour faire déguster des spécialités du coin (foie gras, Pineau des Charentes, ...) faîtes maison. L'endroit idéal pour nous, difficile de trouver mieux quand on a des chiens. Ce qui est aussi exceptionel est que chaque chambre à coucher dans ce gîte est munie d'une grande salle de bains avec toilettes. Le gîte même est très bien entretenu et qui plus aussi est le linge de maison fourni et les lits faits à l'arrivée. À l'extérieur on trouve une très grande piscine très bien exposée et un très grand jardin clôturé où notre fils et les 2 chiens ont bien profité. Le gîte et les environs sont très calmes, donc idéal pour se reposer. Un lieu vraiment à recommander !! Merci Annie et Pierre

Magnifique demeure au grand confort

Nous avons passé 2 semaines dans cette superbe location au grand confort : une très grande pièce à vivre avec cuisine ouverte entièrement équipée : tous les ustensiles de cuisine (de la machine à café expresso au robot ménager en passant même par la cocotte minute (plutôt rare)) lave linge, lave vaisselle et même sèche linge et 3 chambres à coucher, chacune d'elles munie d'une grande salle de bains avec toilettes. La maison était impeccable, très bien entretenue et qui plus est le linge de maison fourni et les lits faits. À l'extérieur une très grande piscine très bien exposée et un très grand jardin clôturé où les enfants et notre chien ont bien profité. La maison et les environs sont très calmes et ce lieu est idéal pour se reposer. Un véhicule est toutefois nécessaire. Les propriétaires logent juste à côté mais sont très discrets et sont aux petits soins et de très bons conseils pour les coins à visiter. Nous n'avons jamais connu un si bon accueil jusqu'à présent malgré les nombreuses locations que nous avons déjà effectuées via ce site.

Auf "Bruno´s" Spuren im Perigord ISBN 3257240465

Wir haben in dem Haus zwei wunderschöne Ferienwochen verbringen dürfen und sind der Meinung, dass wir in dem Haus ein wunderschönes Dominizil gefunden haben. Drei große Schlafzimmer mit Bad ensuite findet man selten noch dazu so landestypisch herrgerichtet. Der WohnEssbereich ist sehr großzügig mit großen, offenem Kamin und die Küche ist mit allem für uns wichtigen ausgestattet - und wir nutzen sie regelmäßig. Der Pool ist riesig (12x6 Meter) mit Treppe als Einstieg und der Garten gleicht eher einem Park in dem man ruhig einen Spaziergang machen kann. Auch unser Hund wurde gastfreundlich empfangen und hat sich hier wohlgefühlt. Unsere Vermieter waren sehr gastfreundlich und haben uns in die kulinarische Welt und das "Savoir Vivre" im Perigord sehr gut eingeführt. Zur Ankunft erwartete uns ein frischer Blumenstrauß und eine gute Flasche Wein für einen guten Beginn und eine kleine "Anfangsausstattung" befand sich ebenfalls schon für uns im Kühlschrank. Die Formalitäten verliefen ausgesprochen aufmerksam und entgegenkommend - sogar die Kaution haben wir bereits vor der Abreise erhalten. Ohne jegliche Zweifel können wir das Haus jedem erholungssuchenden Empfehlen!

EXCELLENCE

Accueil extremement chaleureux des propriétaires, toujours aux petits soins pour les vacanciers.Le gite est ancré dans un jardin immense ou peuvent s'ébattre les animaux de compagnie.( nous avions 3 chiens). Nous y avons goutté les fruits et les tomates offertes généreusement.Gite situé en campagne au calme.La propreté y est remarquable. Nous recommandons tout particulièrement le boulanger de Festalemps qui fait un pain extraordinaire.Visites du Périgord, peches dans la Dronne,étangs de la Jemmaye .! tout y est je recommande tout particulièrement ce gite.

confort luxueux avec un charme campagnard!

difficile de trouver mieux quand on a 2 chiens! les proprétaires sont toujours disponibles pour un renseignement, de l'aide ou un apéro sympa pour faire déguster des spécialités du coin faites maison...une maison au charme et au luxe indéniables entourée d'un jardin clôturé, dans une région magnifique (il faut un véhicule!on est loin des villes). il suffit de regarder les photos pour avoir une idée du confort que vous découvrirez, elles sont en dessous de la réalité!!!
