Extra Cooking Utensils/pans Are Included, With Even a Crock Pot to Make It Easy for You to Enjoy Your Day and Then Come Home to a Hot Meal. This Beautiful Home is Located Only 2 Blocks from the SUU Sports Fields, Less Than 1/2 Mile from the Shakespearean Festival, and Less Than 1 Mile from Downtown Cedar City Main Street Park. It is Only a 25 Minute Drive to the Kolob Entrance of Zion National Park and Only a 35 Minute Drive to Cedar Breaks National Park in Brianhead.
This is an Ideal Place for Large Families Who Want to Vacation Together. You Are Walking Distance to Fast Food, Gas and Groceries. You Do Not Have to Have a Car to Attend Activities Located at Southern Utah University, Shakespeare Festival, Or Any Activity in Downtown Cedar City. Great Experience!

An overall great experience! The home is in a really good location and convenient to restaurants and shops. We were able to visit several local attractions such as Cedar Breaks NM.

Extended Family visit to Shakespeare Festival

Had a great time. It was wonderful to have family time together eating in the kitchen between shows (sometimes bring food back from one of the 6 fast-food stored within 2 blocks). It was clean and safe. Usually, we walked 15 minutes to the show, but a drive was easy also.

Perfect location, good communication

We absolutely loved our stay here! The property manager went above and beyond to be flexible with our schedule and help meet our needs. The house fit our group perfectly and was just the home base we needed for attending the Cedar City Shakespeare Festival. It was such a convenient location. There was enough space for our big group to relax, visit, and eat meals between plays. Thanks for helping to make our trip such a success!

Best travel experience with BEAUTIFUL House

First Word I like to say is "ALL PERFECT...!! " We had a really nice stay, our bed was super comfortable, the room was really beautiful, and the house is very nice. Our hosts were friendly, although we barely saw them while we were there since we were out wandering the town all day! The area is perfect, very close to Walmart, cute shops, cafés and some of the best food we've eaten this trip. Easy access to public transit and public parks. What a nice spot! I totally recommend staying here. :)

Great location, good for families or larger groups

Much bigger & cleaner on the inside than we expected. Very comfortable master bed. I think it was a sleep number bed. A few misc kitchen items that we appreciated like coffee (We forgot ours) and condiments. We really enjoyed our stay. We went to both Bryce Canyon & Zion from this location and both were a reasonable drive. Convenient location. We did have a baby and could have used a highchair. We had our own pack n play since one was not provided.

Great Stay!

Not only was the house exceptional, but the owners were incredibly accommodating. From the outside, it looks like your average, nice, brick, college house. You walk in the doors and are blown away! The upstairs is VERY spacious, with a great living room setup (that's where we spent most of our time). The bedrooms are nice, there are a couple of bathrooms, and there's an unlimited amount of beds! We slept 6 grown men in there with beds left over. The owners were so nice from the very beginning, and rushed to get our deposit to us at the end. It's in a great location, close to SUU, and right by many food places. We have no complaints with our stay, other than there aren't a lot of tv options.... but you can watch dvd's, movies, or hook your computer up to the tv. It's a great, comfortable place!!!!

Great place to stay

The house was great, the owners went out of their way to be hospitable. Our primary purpose was coming the Cedar City for the Utah Shakespeare Festival. The house is a pleasant walk from the Festival grounds and Main Street restaurants and shops. From the street the house looks tiny, but once inside there is nice living and dining space as well as an abundance of bedroom space. While there are only two bathrooms, they were very clean and an abundance of fresh towels were provided. The kitchen has most everything in it you would want. Pleasant surprises included a variety of kitchen staples like herbs and spices were available for our use. Helpful instructions for TV and other items available and easy to use. WIFI and DISH TV were a plus. I would recommend this rental to anyone, but particularly to those coming to the Utah Shakespeare Festival or any SUU campus activity. It is ideally situated. If we had stayed longer we would have made use of the back yard and BBQ grill.

Older but Clean and Convenient

We enjoyed our stay. There was lots of room for our extended family. The kitchen is well equipped and the bedrooms worked well for our group. We also enjoyed the common area for gathering and group discussion.

Family reunion with kids and grandkids

We all had a lovely time. Lots to do in Cedar and we had plenty of room for all of us in the house. 10 adults and 5 small children. We were glad we brought our gate for the stairs. The kids had lots of room to play, and enough seating for adults to gather in one spot to visit. Wonderful!

This property is large and slept up to 10 ladies attending the cedar ridge ladies invitational. The house is clean, orderly and has what we needed. It's very conveniently located. The owners are very helpful and accommodation. It's an easy in/easy out process.

Perfect for us

We had four couples and six children for a family reunion and it was a great layout for our needs. Everyone was able to sleep in a room--we did not need to use the sofa beds. The landlord provided baby cribs and some great toys that the kids loved. The kitchen is well stocked with family-appropriate dishes and dinnerware, as well as cookware. The location was convenient to the Shakespeare Festival and we took some longish walks to parks and trails. If we do another reunion in Cedar City, we will try to get this place again!

FANTASTIC!

Our family had a wonderful time in your beautiful home! The furniture was kid-friendly and beds were comfortable. There was space for 15 of us to spread out and play on the different levels. Fabulous location near fast food, grocery stores, gas stations, the university and wonderful freeway access. Laurie was great to work with. :) We had a great time and can't wait to come back next year! Thanks again! :)

Wonderful location and beautiful home.

The house is centrally located. We were able to easily get to all of the sites and activities that we participated in. We even walked to some activities. The layout of the house worked wonderfully for big groups. The two separate living spaces made the house comfortable for our entire group. Everything is clean and comfortable. A low, aesthetically pleasing fence around the front grass area would be helpful to those traveling with children. Also, some baby amenities kept on site might also be helpful: port-a-crib, collapsable high chair and baby gate for the steep stairs. Otherwise, it was wonderful!

The swamp cooler was so loud we could hear it from blocks away and it kept us up at night. The cabinetry was old and some of the sheets weren't clean. We won't be returning.

It's the little things!

We stayed here for our family reunion and it worked great! I loved that there was soap in all the bathrooms and kitchens, aa fully loaded kitchen with foil, plastic wrap, extra garbage bags, and laundry soap easily located. It was like going to stay at a friends house while they were away. Our family enjoys exploring the outdoors and this house was close to so many beautiful parks for day outings..

My husband is a Cedar City native, with ancestors originally settling this area. We both work in Cedar City, and have a large family and many grandkids.

Why they chose this property

We rent to Shakespear and Summer Games visitors in the summer. We rent to college students throughout the fall/spring semesters. This home is also a favorite for single students during the school year.

What makes this property unique

I love sitting out on the front lawn and listening to nature in the evening and the city sounds around me. This is located in the original Cedar City downtown area. Since our family is from here, we are a great resource for information about the area. Feel free to email and ask questions.
