Completely renovated suite with stainless steel appliances, 3 Roku compatible TV's, high speed internet and cable. Enjoy the close to proximity downtown with the quiet safe community feel. Take long walks or rides along the river or hit the community Pools and Parks. For mountain lovers we are 10 min and your out of town (even in rush hour) !! 60 min to from door to Canmore !! Suite includes private entrance and deck with shard yard. There is a large living room and bedrooms each have queen beds, Large windows allow lots of natural light throughout the suite. You will be provided with bedding, towels and a fully equipped kitchen including a full sized fridge and stove, brand new in suite front load washer and dryer, microwave, coffee maker, If there is anything you find is missing please let us know.Hi-speed wifi and cable are included.

Place is pretty nice

The place is comfy and decently clean has pretty much everything you would ever need for cooking and everyday living. Only complaint is the neighbours upstairs play music that you can hear from about 4-8pm everyday. Other than that the house is a great place to stay with a great location!

Well located with nearby access to Kensington Village and Downtown. North Hill Shopping Centre was a 5 minute drive north with large supermarket, liquor store, drug store and restaurants. A bonus was being able to park our car outside the property. Quiet street with neighbourly feel. Accommodation was fairly spacious with good sized comfortable rooms which were cool in the hot weather. It was nice to have the decking with table and chairs at the front so we could sit outside and "watch the world go by". The property was well equipped with all the necessary domestic appliances and accessories and it was good to have cleaning and laundry materials, loo rolls, etc provided. Traci was very helpful and on hand to answer any queries, as were the residents above. Would recommend it to any couple or family requiring two bedrooms with wifi, TV and a good selection of games, films and books. This was our base for a relaxing 3 weeks away from the UK in August 2016. Thoroughly recommendable.

Great property and perfect location

I thought the property was going to be a lot smaller based off the pictures but it was very spacious and tons of room (had 4 to 6 guests plus 2 kids). We were amazed by the location and very close to downtown and shopping centres. We would definitely come stay again and recommend this property.

Fabulous spot in quiet neighborhood

This was a beautiful, well furnished, clean and lovely vacation rental. The full kitchen and bar-be-cue allowed me to cook each evening and enjoy coffee at home in the mornings. It was a spacious and fabulous place to spend 4 nights.

Great place with helpful owner

This place is conveniently located as the heading suggests. It has everything you could want for a temporary stay. Our 3 weeks here was very enjoyable, a home away from home. Traci was very helpful, more than willing to address any concerns. She replaced pot light bulbs when we mentioned a few were out, asked if we needed anything, and went way above and beyond the call of duty to get something to us that we had left behind. We particularly enjoyed walking in this old neighborhood, cable with tons of channels, an extra large living room to entertain guests, lots of shelving and drawer space, and a very efficient washer/dryer. The front deck with table and chairs would be nice in the summer as well. We would highly recommend this unit to anyone, including families as there are two bedrooms and plenty of space. We would stay here again.

Comfortable lodging, great location

Traci's home was nicely furnished and comfortable. We really liked all the reclining couches. But the best thing about this property is its location. A short, straightforward drive or reasonable walk to most of Calgary's sights and other interesting locations such as Kensington (restaurants and shops), Elbow River Park, even downtown Calgary. We had a really enjoyable visit.

Very comfortable. Everything you need provided. Good central location.

We were a family of five (young adult children) staying at this location for my mother's 90th birthday event which turned into a family reunion of sorts. We also did some sightseeing while in Alberta. The home is the main floor of a semi-detached house in a nice, quiet neighbourhood but with easy access to a main roadway. The beds were very, very comfortable including the cot that our son slept on. The place was clean and provided all the amenities we needed during our stay. Since we were all adults, including our three grown-up children (18-24) I would say that a second half bath would have made our stay perfect as arguments ensued between the "grown-up" children. However, we cannot fault the owner for this as we knew this going in and this depends on the families habits (i.e duration in bathroom). If we had to be at all negative about the actual home it would be that it could have a bit more sound insulation between floors. We often heard the upstairs tenants/renters movements and activities more clearly than we would have expected and vice versa. We did not meet the owner (lives next door in attached semi unit) as our paths did not cross. However, through an email she extended an offer of assistance if we needed it for anything which was very generous. Regardless, we were very happy with our stay here and would recommend this place to anyone.

Good Central Location!

The location of the rental home is very good and convenient for us. There are 2 playgrounds/parks within walking distance for my 4-year old son to enjoy. The home is in a nice, quiet neighbourhood that didn't have a lot of traffic. Yet, still close to Downtown. The place was clean and had all the comforts that we were looking for during our 4-night stay . We were quite happy with staying there. It was well worth the money!

Close to campus

We stayed at this lovely apartment so that our kids could attend a national level sports camp at the university. The location was close to the campus and easily accessible. It was clean and the neighbourhood felt safe. It had all the basic amenities that we required for feeding our family of 5, such as a slow cooker. Traci was lovely. I would recommend this apartment to anyone!

Home for the weekend

We rented this apartment to share with another couple while we were in Calgary attending a wedding. The location was good for us. We enjoyed walking in the neighborhood, sightseeing and finding an interesting pub for dinner. We really liked the well-equipped kitchen and the layout of the house. Renting through VRBO has worked out well for us on several occasions, and we were very happy with this rental.

Great spot for Out-of-Town Guests!

I rented this unit for my parents and godparents while they were visiting Calgary this spring and it was a great decision! My husband and my apartment was way too small for everyone and this was a way, way better option than a hotel room. The location was great and the kitchen was very well stocked with lots of cooking tools. As a bonus there was a BBQ to take advantage of on the front patio! Traci was great and super accommodating, and I would recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable place to stay in Calgary.

Great Apartment

We stayed here over Christmas. It is walking distance to the river and to Kensington, which has lots of shops and restaurants. It is a very roomy 2 bedroom with modern kitchen and bath. The owner was very accommodating and specifically provided a tree and some xmas decorations and ensured we had what we needed for cooking xmas dinner. Lots of games and videos. Easy access to downtown and to the mountains. Highly recommended for couples or families.

Home away from home

This large apartment was the ideal place for our visit to Calgary this fall. It is the complete package with comfortable furniture, full kitchen, lots of space, lovely sheets and towels and to top it off VERY CLEAN. The location allows easy access to the main roads. Traci and Jill are amazing to work with. I would book there again if I were heading to Calgary.

Newlyweds

We stayed here the week of our wedding with my maid of honor and bridesmaid. It was a great place to stay! Beautifully done condo, while being close to amenities. We walked to the local transit (about 2kms). The condo comes with all the cooking items you need, along with a great BBQ out front. We would totally recommend staying again. Traci was wonderful to work with and was always there if we needed something.

Home away from home

Awesome owner. Very clean and quiet condo. Has lots of things to make it easy to stay with a couple of small children. We would definitely stay here again. Only downside was not having air conditioning when it was +30 and some of the interior doors were hard for our little ones to open and close as they were framed too tight, but that's pretty minor. We are light sleepers, so the blackout blinds were an absolute plus. We wouldn't stay in a hotel again in Calgary now that we found this rental. Thanks Traci! :)

Immaculate, convenient location with kind owner!

What a find! Our family (mom, dad, teen and tween) stayed here for eight days while visiting relatives in the area. The property is in a safe, quiet neighborhood that is convenient to Calgary's transportation system and downtown area. The property is very well maintained, tastefully decorated/renovated and full of thoughtful touches: family friendly DVDs and board games; a laundry room equipped with a washer and dryer as well as an air-drying rack, iron and board; a FULLY equipped kitchen (too many things to list). One particular bonus for us was the expansive living room. Our extended family whom we came to visit (which included additional teenagers) could hang out with us, play games, etc. there without it feeling crowded. The owner is SUPER responsive and gracious. I would highly recommend this rental, and look forward to returning to it in the future when visiting my brother's family.

Lovely accomodation in quiet Calgary neighbourhood

This recently renovated 2 bedroom main floor duplex unit provides plenty of space to enjoy your stay in Calgary. The photos and description of the unit are exactly as described, but do not do it justice. The owner has gone out of their way to provide all the little things that make your stay just perfect (i.e. plastic containers to store your leftovers, steak spice for the bbq, board games, beach towels etc....). The unit is in a quiet area of Calgary with everything you need <10 min away (i.e. walk/bike along the bow river pathway, access to TransCanada hwy to Banff, groceries, local transit, local outdoor swimming pool etc). If you are travelling during the Calgary Stampede the location is very handy.... we took the local transit an were downtown in less than half an hour. (**Note do not go on a day when you get in for free.... it is way too crowded) The owner was very helpful in answering any questions or concerns and is easily accessible during your stay if you require assistance.

Very comfortable, well equipped and conveniently located appartment

The apartment is very well finished with all the facilities needed. Easy access to Crowchild Trail and Memorial Drive make it easy to get around the city by car and the C train is close by too. I will recommending this rental to friends and business collegues.

perfect location, fully loaded

I loved this place. I brought my family over from Ontario and needed a place for them to stay. The location was perfect. A quiet neighborhood yet so close to Kensington and downtown. It's a short walk to the river paths. The bus stop and LRT make getting around Calgary easy and quick. The property has been beautifully renovated, exactly as it appeared in the pictures. Traci was available if we needed anything and access to the property was easy as they arrived late in the night. The kitchen is fully equipped and well laid out. My family will definitely stay here again.

My family has owned this property since the 1960's and were one of the first members of the community to knock down their War time home and built and develop. I have kept the property in the family and fully renovated the suites.

What makes this property unique

I love the location of this property and all it's restaurants and shops. There are many small yoga studios and gyms within walking distance. I love the quick walk to the river and the large amazing trees that fill the community with scattered nests in their branches.
