Perfect for Twilight fans

Diana was super nice and friendly, she walked us around the cabin and shared some very interesting stories. The cabin itself was super cozy and felt like an escape from our stressful lives. It is a perfect spot for couples.

Fun and quirky

Great location for us! Grateful for the host helping us find it at night. It would’ve been nice to have top sheets for the beds and less incense/perfume smells, but we made the best of it and loved being near the rainforest for our trip.

Booking confusion, but turned out ok.

When we showed up Diana had told us to come to the twilight cottage. When we got there we told her that we did not book the cottage. We had booked the cabin. She was very confused by this and told us the cabin wasn’t available because they were working on the plumbing. We told her how disappointed we were that she never told us this and that we had come all that way to stay in the cabin. She said she would give us a refund and find us a place. Then suddenly she said she would check on the cabin to see if it was fixed. She said it was totally fine and still tried to get us to stay at the cottage instead. Once we got there it was fine but the initial meeting kind of ruined our excited to be there. The bedrooms upstairs were way too hot to stay in and they smelled. They need to put AC up there or it is pointless listing that as a usable space. We enjoyed our stay once we got settled in, but for the money we paid they could have made it away better experience.

Kitschy charm but no fresh air

Cabin fabrics, wolf rugs, and carved bears abound. Upstairs was unusable because it was too hot and there were no screens to let in fresh air. Down stairs was cooler but only sleeps one. Hostess prefers closed windows. Indoor air was stale and artificially scented. AC is available. Kitchen was adequate but minimally equipped. Bath towel was musty.

Fun, roomy home

I reserved the cottage in the woods, but found out it was already reserved, so we were given the house in town. Disappointed at first, but was happy with the place we stayed. Diana is a wonderful hostess.

Better than camping (maybe)

The cabin is a bit odd. Way too many things on the walls etc... too much Twilight stuff (I know it's Forks). I did not find a lot of properties to choose from in the area so we made do. The fire pit was quite nice, the kitchen was stocked well enough, and overall it was very clean. There's also a path on the property that is very nice. On the very up side, close to the areas best sights, the beaches and forest are amazing. If you have time go to Cape Flattery! Amazing! While you're there have fish and chips at the Calvins Crab House at the end of Neah Bay!

Disappointing find, did not match property description

Expected four beds but found two singles and a cot upstairs, and single pullout chair downstairs. Was quite hot and no AC— no screens on windows so bat net provided for evening bats who apparently live in roof and fly in. Dining space for two only. Location right off highway in small enclave where host warned us not to wander around because of concerns related to neighbors. Fridge open and warm on arrival so nowhere cool to put groceries. Interesting and eclectic decor for the right person. First VRBO/HomeAway we have left without staying in—expensive mistake. We sat in the home ten minutes (long enough to book hotel rooms two hours away) and asked her to refund cleaning fee but owner never responded. Overall a disappointment but an interesting bonding and learning opportunity for the family. Low ceilings- tall people may not love it.

I din't see the cabin

Very unprofessional I book and pay for three nights at the twilight eclipse cabin, and apparently it was overbooked because we end up staying at Diana's home. I will never book with her again. I don't like to be a paying guest at somebody home.

A Small Rustic Cabin in the Forks area

We have been staying at vacation rental homes for several years. The hostess is the only VRBO owner who came out to greet the guests upon arrival. As many reviewers wrote in previous reviews, the cabin is situated in a private lot. The square footage was not clearly disclosed in the listing so we were somewhat misled by the description of maximum occupancy of 4 and believed it might be roomy for 2 people. In our opinion, this cabin is at best for hosting 2 guests. The cabin appears to be clean and the heater does provide instant hot water. The attic was cleaned with bleach so it's free of germs but did leave a strong chemical smell. This cabin does not have Wi-Fi/internet service so we had to rely on cell services. The location is ideal for exploring the Olympic Park and the near-by beaches.

Delightful little cabin.

My daughter and I stayed while in Forks to attend a wedding. The cabin is rustic but exceptionally clean. Plenty of towels and blankets were provided. The path through the woods is a fun hike.

Horrible, infested with vermin

During our first night, animals got on both our bodies when the lights were turned out. We had to try to sleep with the lights on to keep them off us. We also heard them scampering around all night between the ceiling and roof and in the walls. Further, my wife's bed, really a cot, collapsed during the night. And it was dirty. Found a used feminine hygiene pad on bathroom floor. We fled after the first sleepless night despite paying for three. Worst HomeAway rental we have ever seen.

A+ Stay!

I'm actually here now, sitting at the table drinking coffee. And as I look around the place, I realize how much love and effort Diana has put into her lodgings. There are cookies on the stove, K-Cups on the shelf, oatmeal in a jar, macaroni, etc. She really wants her guests to feel at home, and I could see it after meeting her, too. Not only that, she is so artistic, and around the place you'll find many blankets and other linens knitted by her own hand. Her creative touch is everywhere, and I think that's what makes this place so unique. Definitely one of my favorite rentals. I come from a small town in Indiana, and since moving to the greater Seattle area, I really miss the chorus frogs and crickets at night. When I heard the peepers filling the night with their song, I was so happy! I highly recommend this cabin. Also, it is only half an hour from the Hoh Rainforest, Kolalach Beach, and forty minutes from La Push. The perfect location! And this place is very clean, too! I'll be sad to leave tomorrow!
