Delightful stay, from comfortable beds to well-appointed kitchen to good way to store equipment, to sweet fire heater for living room! Kids enjoyed hot tub after ski soreness. Wow, Whistler. What a mountain! And charming resort. (BYO reading lights.) Sure, couch is squeaky, kinda old, but so what? So are we, esp. after skiing! - It was rustic, cozy, and sweet.
Great place! Great location and lots of parking available! Hot tub was great! Would definitely recommend! One thing is the sofas could do with changing.. kept sliding off them as the cushions kept sliding out.
Thanks Leonie!
Leonie was a great host! Very responsive and accommodating and the unit was exactly as described! We have frequented this complex for many many years and the location is good and we love the private hot tub. If new to the complex, it is a little older and can be noisy at times. Although, the owners and security try to ensure quiet time as best possible. This unit has some nice renovations and a newer hot tub which was very nice! Thanks Leonie and we hope to return many times in the future!
We enjoyed our stay at this property. The kitchen is stocked with the basic necessities, the beds were comfortable, and the hot tub is lovely. It was a hot weekend and the place was quite warm, but each bedroom has a little window AC unit to help stay cool. Leonie was friendly and quick to respond to our inquiries.
Something you don't expect when travelling. This property has chemically contaminated water in the hot tub. The first night we came was Friday, and all 4 people have developed a rush on the skin almost immediately after leaving the hot tub. The kids started complaining of the burning sensation right in the hot tub.
So our first night there, the water in the hot tub gave all of us Chemical Burns. Let that sink in...
I specifically rented this place to make use of the hot tub, the owner has mismanaged it or neglected it to such a degree that it gave my little kids and the family skin burns. We couldn't sleep all night. Naturally, the next day's skiing trip and snowboarding school for my oldest child was ruined.
I have rented multiple places with Hot Tubs in Big White Ski Resort and never thought this could even be a problem.
A very dangerous place with the regard to the hot tub.
I have spent 2 hours on the phone with VRBO to make sure the host is aware of the situation and this is all well documented, so this doesn't happen in the future to anyone.
The couch is beyond uncomfortable, tiny and old. You roll off it straight down on the floor. It's also super old and stained. If you own the property wouldn't you want your guests feeling comfortable?
No phone charger in sight. I brought mine but any place one rents in 2021 should have at least a USB charger.
The walls are all beaten up, the place needs several new coats of paint. The pace feels old and dated.
The place gets super loud at night with conversations loud and clear from all corners of the outside, very hard to fall asleep. The beds are also super uncomfortable. Generally speaking, I understand that this is a business, it just seems it's not about hospitality for the owner of this place as it is rather a bait and switch with a chemically contaminated Hot Tub.
pros: Excellent location, clean, hot tub on deck with views of Blackcomb mtn, cute outdoor pool, ample parking, well equipped kitchen, washer/dryer
Cons: neighbours little noisy after hours
Toaster and dishwasher need replacing,
Sofa bed sags in middle, could have adapters for hooking Mac computers/iPhone to TV
Would definitely stay here again
Great place to stay in Whistler, easy walk to the village. So cozy and the hot tub was great. Owner did a great job communicating with us. Thank you!

A good deal on a comfortable place
We had a great 11 nights in this unit. Overall, I was very satisfied and would stay there again. The floors were a little dirty when we arrived, and the shower curtains needed replacing, but overall it is a nice place and conveniently located near the village (and the village market with the grocery and drug store). The kitchen has everything you need for cooking. There is a little view of Blackcomb Mountain from the windows and the hot tub, and it is conveniently located near the pool and the garbage room in the garage. We were able to watch the Rio Olympics from the hot tub, which was nice. Thanks Leonie!

Great location, great place
We loved our stay. Plenty of room in the condo. It was clean, had everything we needed, across the street from the supermarket and on the bike trails. The owner was very nice and helpful. We would definitely stay again. It was perfect.

Perfect location for Ironman Canada
Close to all the action.
A block from Olympic Village, this townhouse was so close it was easy to hobble home after the race!
Food was easy to bring home from the IGA accross the street and prepare in our kitchen, or go out and enjoy some of the dining available in Whister.
Really nice was the proximity to the Lost Lake forested pathways and how close we were to the edge of town that is near Alta Lake - Ironman's swim start. Not walking distance - but maybe if you were running!
The hot tub was unfortunately not working or too dirty to use according to the service person that came when we arrived. Which is really too bad as I was looking forward to having a soak on my private balcony after my long day swimming biking and running in beautiful BC.
There is a general swim and hot tub area as well open to people at this complex.
We weren't able to make use of the underground parking because there was a car in our spot. There was no shortage of places to park along the quiet cup de sac just outside our door.
Overall, a really good stay - snap this one up before its booked!

Spacious condo at the perfect location!
We loved our stay at Leonie's condo at Glacier Reach. The community is right across from the Whistler Village marketplace yet very quiet so you can get a good night rest after the outdoor activities. The hot tub is also great. The layout was perfect for us. We'd definitely stay there again!

The property was well worth it! Very clean, spacious, close to the Village and many amenities.
We spent 9 nights in the property and had no issues what so ever. Convenient location for all the Whistler has to offer, plenty of space inside, very clean and the hot tub is huge and perfect! Even better than advertised! Thanks!

Perfect vacation condo for family
We had a wonderful New Years at Whistler (Dec 26-Jan 3), aided by the very comfortable accomodations provided in this 2 BR/bath condo at Glacier Reach. Perfect for 4 people.........family. The property is well maintained, perfectly located to the slopes and the village.............easily within walking distance. The grocery, liquor and other shops are literally across the street. The hot tub was a real hit with all of us, especially our 2 boys (ages 14 and 12) after a long day of skiing.
The owner was very responsive and helpful throughout the process of booking the condo as well as during our stay. We would definitely stay here again......hopefully next winter!

Great Accommodation, Good Location
This townhome was perfect for myself and 2 friends. It was very clean and modern. We had lots of room and could have easily had another 2 people stay with us. The kitchen was stocked with everything. The 2 bathrooms were very nice and the beds were comfortable. We were able to walk everywhere and didn't need to use our car the whole weekend. Having the IGA across the street was very convenient. The hot tub was an added bonus.
Leonie was very nice to deal with. We will definately stay here again.

Modern, cozy, and convenient
We will definitely be back! Leonie was very helpful and prompt to answer all of my questions. The condo was modern and well equipped with all the appliances/utensils you would need to get full use of the kitchen. The location is fabulous...literally steps from grocery, liquor, and drug store and a few more steps to the north end of the village stroll. The hot tub on the deck was the nicest and most private of all the surrounding units and made the weekend feel luxurious even though it rained heavily the entire time. My only suggestion would be to print a little guide on how to use the hot tub because we somehow turned it on to idle mode and it didn't want to heat up. We were able to find a user manual online and got that straightened out pretty quick but then it took a while (understandably) to get the giant tub up to a comfortable temperature. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and found having the kitchen and laundry made it way more convenient and comfortable for us to deal with our wet muddy sports gear and to save money on eating out/coffee in the morning etc. We usually stay in luxury hotels when we come to whistler but this was way more suitable for our needs!

Great Location and Getaway Stay
We really enjoyed our Stay at Glaciers Reach. The location is very close to the Village, grocery store, and all other Village amenities. We parked our vehicle on Friday and didn't start it again until we were ready to load and head back home. The condo was well appointed and very functional. The only reason for the four star instead of five star rating was what I saw as a two minor nuisances: 1 - although there was cable and two televisions, neither had a DVD player attached (which would have been great for the evenings with our young children) and 2 - lack of a BBQ. While I understand the very limited space for the BBQ - so completely understand why there wasn't one.
All in all, this is a great condo and a great location. I would recommend this unit and anyone looking to stay at Glaciers Reach. Thank you for allowing us to use your property for our long weekend getaway.

Convenient location; great accommodations!
The second floor rental was perfectly located just a block from Whistler Village and the IGA grocery store! Was nice to be off the ground floor- a little more privacy. Perfect accommodations for my two kids (8 yrs old & 12 yrs old) and I- the kitchen was great for preparing and serving meals and the hot tub was a welcome relaxation opportunity! Bike storage was easy and secure- we made regular use of the bike trails to travel throughout the area. Leonie was prompt in following up and handling our inquiries. We'll be back!
