About this property

Blue Pine Guest House - luxury cabin close to the trails!

Our cabin is centrally located between Mazama and Winthrop. We are less than 1/2 mile to the Methow Valley Community Trail. Our favorite thing to do is walk or bike on the Community Trail to the Mazama Country Store (about 3 miles) or Kelly's at the Rolling Huts (about 1 mile) to catch up on the local happenings.

Our cabin is new and in great condition. It includes 1300 square ft. 2-story, 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom cabin with a sleeping loft. The main floor has an open living/eating/full kitchen, which is perfect for gatherings. There is also a master bedroom, common bathroom, and laundry area on the main floor. The second floor features the 2nd bedroom with two twin beds, loft area with double sofa-bed, and bathroom. It is perfect for 2-4 people. Note, the base rate is for 2 people. An additional guest fee is charged above 2 people at $10 per night per guest.

Lovely stay at Blue Pine

We have stayed at Blue Pine several times over the past few years. The cabin is well-equipped for our cooking and relaxation needs after a day of XC skiing. Location just outside Mazama junction and near ski trails is great. The host has continued to make improvements and little design touches, which we appreciate. Thank you for making your space available and enjoyable!

Absolutely fantastic!

We so enjoyed our stay! Everything was super clean and the beds were very comfortable. Bryan was incredibly helpful and so responsive. We had a great time and would gladly return or recommend staying here— it’s a little slice of forested heaven!

Nice little cabin!!

It's a fantastic cabin with all the bells and whistles near Methow/Manzama/Winthrop. Our kids enjoyed all the board games. Bryan was very prompt in responding to questions. It's very well built. Beds are comfortable.

Nice, clean cabin. Would be great for a small family.

Cabin in a subdivision about 3 miles from the Mazama Store. Though this was a solo trip, the space would be perfect for a family, with a bedroom on the main floor and twin beds on the second floor and an open play area. I was looking for a place that was right on the MCT or other ski trails, which this wasn't from what I could figure out. Had to drive to trailheads, but they were close enough. One big positive: the place was spotless! Whoever does the cleaning does an excellent job. Thank you!

Great cabin in a terrific location!

We loved our stay at Blue Pine. The house was perfect! Clean and comfortable! We really loved the location. Easy and beautiful drive to Winthrop for shopping and eating. Also, an easy drive into the North Cascades for incredible hikes!

Beautiful cabin

We stayed here while we explored North Cascades National Park. It was perfectly located just outside of the park. I was so confused while tying to figure out where to stay that was close to the park and I couldn’t be happier with where we ended up. The cabin was perfect and had everything we needed and was extremely clean. I’m sad we were only there a couple of nights and I would absolutely stay here again.

Wonderful Cabin in the Trees

While my son and I expected to play outside for three days, the weather did not cooperate. This home was perfect for a day indoors, nicely appointed, cozy, and comfortable. The ping pong table was a great bonus. Fantastic. This one is our list for a repeat.

Nice secluded place

Overall an awesome property! Bryan was responsive and easy to communicate with. We were bummed there was a heat wave passing through since no A/C in the house.

Great cabin for North Cascades

Overall the property was a great base for our trip to the North Cascades. Located just off the highway, but far enough away to be quiet. Some good restaurants fairly close by in Winthrop and Twisp. Nice to have two baths. Kitchen was very well supplied with dishes, cutlery, and cookware. Plenty of soap and other supplies. Induction oven (oddly the same oven we have at home!) Ping pong table in the garage was a nice bonus! Only issue was the upstairs beds were on the small side, a bit challenging for our adult child.

Outstanding cabin

My family of 4 had a fantastic stay at this cabin. Bryan was incredibly responsive to any and all questions that we had, and his place is really clean, updated and has all of the amenities that you might need, including a very well-stocked kitchen (with kitchen essentials, not food), washer-dryer, and a really nice grill which we used happily. They even have a great selection of kid-friendly movies upstairs for the younger kids to enjoy! If we lived closer, we'd visit this property again and again. Highly recommend it!

Clean and well-made house

Great house with a cozy living room. Pros: Clean, well equipped, fireplace, location, price, kitchen, garage(storage). Cons: Connector trail is difficult to ski, it's better to start from Mazama shop. During winter, I wish there would be a small area to play with kids in snow. Sofa at the second floor is not very comfortable for sleeping.

Hiker's Access

Got this property at late notice. It was a quite comfortable cabin and served our purpose very well with its close proximity to several legacy hikes. Bryan, the owner, was very responsive. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Wonderful slice of heaven

We had a fantastic time. We were a bit tentative since the fires in that area but we went for it (with a little positive thinking from Bryan) and it paid off. Wonderful location, and a truly nice well-stocked cabin. Close to so many things yet as secluded as can be. We’ll be back.

Cozy spot to recharge

Such a sweet, cozy cabin. But still enough room for us to spread out in different rooms. Loved the sitting area by the fire. And the snowy view. Super easy to get to different recreation areas we came to enjoy. Thank you.

Blue Pine Cabin

This is a very nice cabin that’s comfortable and has great amenities and functions well in winter. Great floor plan with kitchen/living/dining all one big room so a lot of people can hang out together. Tiled entryway and bench great for snowy weather to put boots etc. Great location near Mazama, so short drive to many ski trailheads, though not on one itself. Only issues were that 1) we ran out of dishwasher pods (only a four were supplied) and that took a full day to resolve and 2) the rental book in the cabin is out of date.

Lovely wooded setting!

This fabulous cabin is fairly new and very comfortable from the beds, to the chairs and sofa. Lovely windows look out onto the woods and it is easily accessible from Mazama or Winthrop. Lovely base for hiking and skiing. Highly recommend and we will book again in the future.

Great retreat for kids and adults alike

We enjoyed everything about this cabin (really a house). It was clean, spacious, open, and was stocked with toys for kids. The area is quiet and serene and it is a great break from the city. We will stay again!

Fun Winter Getaway

We had an awesome time at the Blue Pine Guest House. The house was spotless, beds were comfortable and the house was well appointed. The furniture has been upgraded since the VRBO pictures were taken and it was all very comfortable. There were kids toys upstairs that our children enjoyed and it was really nice to have the garage to store our skis/sleds. Great trip!

Great relaxing home for a vacation!

This is a beautiful property! Very clean and lovely- super comfortable. We also liked its proximity to both Mazama and Winthrop. Wifi was great, but no TV or cell service (unless its Verizon, I believe). We would definitely stay here again. Thanks, Bryan!
