LE COTCHE is a villa built in the early 20th century by an artist friend of the painter Renoir. It has retained its original charm and appearance while enjoying contemporary comfort.
Once in the middle of the Cagnes countryside it is now close to the city center in a very residential area close to many shops and means of transport, which makes the use of the car superfluous.
Its garden is particularly remarkable planted with ancient trees and exotic or typically Mediterranean species.
The safety of the swimming pool has been studied with care: safety fence and gate to ensure the tranquility of parents regarding young children.
The fully fenced garden is suitable for pets who are welcome.
Like many local houses, the villa is built on a hill and thus on 2 separate levels. Each level is organised in a separate flat which do not communicate. This rental is for the main 2 bedroom flat of the villa and has the exclusive usage of the swimming pool, the garden surrounding it and the 2 cars off-street parking area.

Tourism:
Cagnes sur Mer is above all a family resort, it benefits from its location between the high places of the Côte d'Azur. East: Nice, St Jean Cap Ferrat, Monaco and Menton; to the west Antibes-Juan les Pins, Cannes and further Saint Tropez.
The access is easy because the means of public transport towards each of these directions are frequent and economical. The train and the bus stations are within walking distance of the villa. There is a free shuttle to the beach during the months of July & August (number 45). There is also a free shuttle to the medieval village all year round (number 44) .
The city of Cagnes sur Mer proceeds during the summer season to many events and in the spring the 'Smart Sundays' are very successful. The seaside becomes exclusively reserved for pedestrians with many free activities.
Numerous cultural events dazzle the summer months including concerts, including Jazz on the Castle Square in the medieval village (free shuttle) on Friday nights.
But the maritime aspect of Cagnes sur mer should not make forget the immediate proximity of the hinterland where one climbs in some kilometers to 1000 meters of altitude and where the ballads are remarkable (all degrees of excursion)
