So glad you have found us! We are a gay male household primarily serving a gay male clientele. The heated pool is shared with my husband and I who live downstairs. The pool is clothing optional (semi-private) and the hot tub is more private.

This upstairs apartment has a private entrance, and is well equipped with all the amenities that you will need for your stay. It has a lovely private balcony to start your morning with coffee overlooking the pool and canal. The spacious living room has a smart TV, and the kitchen has a dishwasher, stove and microwave. The bedroom has a king bed with a large screen TV, and the bathroom has a large walk-in shower.

We are walking distance to the restaurants, bars and nightlife in Wilton Manors. We're also on the Middle River canal so you can kayak right from the house, and we are just a 10-minute drive to the beach.

In response to COVID-19, we've installed a REME.HALO Whole Home Air Purifier in this apartment which kills up to 99% of bacteria, mold and viruses.

Comfortable surroundings, lots of amenities, new Samsung Smart TV with Netflix, Fast Broadband WiFi, Beach umbrella's, coolers, chairs available to take for your day adventure to the beach.

When you return, enjoy a relaxing cocktail by the heated pool or a soak in the hot tub before heading our of the evening for dinner and cocktails.

Great location with lots of parking, very private yard with clothing-optional hot tub, sparkling heated pool and water view onto the canal. The hot tub and pool are shared with the owners who live downstairs.

Close to all the gay bars and restaurants in Wilton Manors, or enjoy an evening at home by the pool, or grilling some dinner and then a nice soak in the hot tub in the very private tropical yard.

We are close to all the many places to visit nightly but have a quiet oasis where you can relax and charge your batteries.

The refundable security deposit is automatically returned through the Homeaway website within 7 days after your checkout (assuming there is no damage).

For more than a decade, Wilton Manors has been known anecdotally as South Florida’s gayest city. The 2010 U.S. Census has provided numbers to back up that reputation: With about 140 per 1,000, Wilton Manors is the No. 2 city nationally in percentage of same-sex couples, second to Provincetown, Mass.

For entertainment in the area, there are more than we can list. Wilton Manors has plenty of shops bars restaurants and more to keep you entertained.

Great apartment and location

Apartment had everything we needed. Spacious with access to the garden with pool and hot tub. Very convenient for bars and restaurants in Wilton Manors (easily walkable). Arnie and Jacob were great hosts, right from our initial booking enquiry. Always responded quickly to any questions. I’d definitely recommend the property.

Resort style property

Arnie and Jacob were great hosts. Every little detail was covered. The pool, hot tub, water view, lush tropical foliage, and water fountains made it feel like we were at a resort and was very private. Location to Wilton drive was also great. No need to Uber when you can just walk!! Would absolutely stay here again.

Delightful Oasis

The space was everything we needed for a relaxing long weekend. The hosts, puppers included, were all amazing and welcoming. Also, our checkin and checkout times were accommodated according to our flights! Loved the pool, hot tub and lush property. Would stay again!

Fabulous Getaway

We had a lovely five days at this property. Arnie and Jacob were wonderful hosts, very helpful in answering all our questions prior to the trip, welcoming us graciously in person upon arrival, and always friendly and gracious during our stay. The apartment was lovely, sparkling clean, bright, quiet, well appointed and very comfortable. It was perfect for a quiet few days in a lovely setting. We hope to return for another visit. Thank you!

Ft. Lauderdale's Best Choice for Gay Travelers!

This was my second stay at Arnie's and Jacob's place and I wouldn't have thought it possible but it was even better than the first. Every aspect of our trip - from booking to arrival to our time there - could not have made us feel more welcome and cared for. The apartment is beautifully decorated, comfortable, and equipped for dining-in or simply coffee in the morning. The property is equally beautiful, landscaped with a profusion of palms, orchids, bromeliads and other tropical flora. The waterfront location, pool and hot tub really create a resort feel; it would be easy to spend a lazy week without leaving other than for meals. Arnie and Jacob are the perfect hosts - if you desire privacy you'll never see them, but if you'd like tips about the area they're knowledgeable and happy to help. We'll definitely be back!

The Perfect Relaxing and Invigorating Vacation

Jacob & Arnie were the most gracious and welcoming host. The pristine amenities were the start to a most enjoyable home away from home. The Pool View accommodation truly felt like home. Tons of natural light and a stocked kitchen for most any cooking needs. If work called, we were able to pull out our laptops and work as needed in a peaceful homie environment. Perfect location! Walking distance to most any night life and restaurants. The highlight of our trip was paddle boarding around Wilton Manors and enjoying the most stunning sunset upon the river. We sincerely enjoy this trip and feel like we've made some awesome friends, Jacob & Arnie. We will most definitely return!

Joy, Serenity, and Comfort

Who could ask for a better place to call home for a week in Lauderdale? Arnie and Jacob were the consummate hosts: so friendly, accommodating, congenial, and genuine. The Pool View apartment was spotless, well-stocked and very comfortable. The pool was warm, clean, and inviting, and the hot tub was relaxing and spotless. Arnie and Jacob have made some phenomenal changes to the compound: all of which have really enhanced the property and improved the ambience and security of compound. We felt welcome, secure, serene, wanted, and comfortable. One of the best things was the joy Arnie and Jacob exuded and passed along to their guests. They knew how to touch my heart with joy and love. Many thanks and much love to Arnie and Jacob!!!

Loved that you can walk to the heart of Wilton Drive in just 10 minutes (shops, restaurants, bars and nightclubs). Very private, spacious and comfortable apartment with tropical grounds and seating areas shared with other guests and the hosts. Arnie and Jacob were the perfect hosts -very knowledgeable on things to do as well as taking care of all your needs. You will not want to leave!

Perfect Getaway!!!

Staying here is like having your own private place in a perfect location. It’s close to all the hot spots in Wilton Manors and Fort Lauderdale, yet it’s a beautiful quiet property. Whether you want to do a little or a lot....it’s perfect. Scott is the perfect host and I enjoyed our conversations by the pool. Would I recommend this property to a friend? Without a doubt! Excellent Vacation HomeAway from Home!

Scott and his husband are excellent and gracious hosts and I highly recommend a stay at their beautiful home. My husband and I enjoyed a very relaxing week long vacation there and enjoyed looking out from the balcony over the pool and to the canal. Scott welcomed us and made us feel right at home. The location close to Wilton is a short drive around the block and in a quiet neighborhood. We are already planning a return visit!

Top Notch Apartment, Facilities, & Hosts

You really could not ask for a better place to stay. This was our 3rd or 4th visit at MRL, and it just improves every time we visit. The apartment is very clean & very well equipped and the amenities are superb. The pool and hot tub and enclosed yard are absolutely gorgeous as are the hosts, Scott & Rod. It is a very warm & inviting place to spend some time. We had some friends over, and they were very impressed with the whole place. Even the other couple in the other unit were friendly and good company. It is always a delight to stay at MLR.

Great hosts, great apartment, great location

We were able to do everything we wanted from Scott’s place. We had a car rental, but walked and/or Lyfted to and from Wilton Manor bars and restaurants. Sebastian beach was just a short drive down Sunrise. We enjoyed the Ft Lauderdale water taxi and the river walk. We drove down to South Beach for lunch and shopping one afternoon. The Apt. Very quite and peaceful even though it’s close in to the nightlife. The shower was amazing, the bed extremely comfortable. The kitchen was perfect for breakfasts and snacks. We could cook a dinner, but why bother with all the restaurants around. The salt water pool was very pretty. I highly recommend Scott’s place. Thanks Scott!!

Photos don't do this house justice--truly amazing!!

Scott and Arthur were amazing hosts from the time we arrived until the minute we left. They were both quick to reply to our questions about the area, the home and anything else we may have needed throughout our stay. This was the first time I used VRBO/Homestay to book a vacation, but nothing was forgotten in the unit or the home overall that we could have needed. We got to enjoy not only Ft Lauderdale, but a day in Miami as well due to its close proximity to their home. We got to go kayaking; which was a first for me, as well as, experience many other local tourist attractions. The surrounding area is full of great restaurants for every meal, and the beaches are wonderful as well! All told this was one of my best vacations ever and much of that is thanks to the hospitality of our hosts and their lovely home/apartment that we rented from them!

As good as the pictures.

We had high expectations going in given the beautiful pictures taken from various angles on the property. Our expectations were exceeded. This is more like renting a full one bedroom condo unit in a small private complex. Scott was great and very personable. The unit itself was clean, quiet and very up-to-date. Nice bathroom and great shower. The bed was comfortable too. Either a short walk or a $5 Lyft over to the heart of Wilton Manor. Would stay here again in a heartbeat
