We enjoyed our stay very much. The property was clean and cozy and easy to find. The location is great and within walking distance to many places - a big reason we choose the property. The fire pit was excellent and well stocked with wood.
The cottage was in the perfect location for our trip to Leelanau. It had everything we needed for a delightful stay. We loved waking up to the water view and ending our day by the fire!
Treasured time with friends in a cozy cottage, enjoyed calmness by the water and walks to store and restaurant. We even enjoyed a night by the fire. A wonderful time just wish we could have stayed longer!
Great place to stay in Leland, great location on the narrows.
We loved our stay - the property was right now the narrows with a large yard for the kids to run around. A lot of great places within walking distance for when you are not on the water. We would definitely consider staying here again!
Great place to stay. Accommodations were clean and well kept. Very quiet and private. Owners were on site and very respectful of our privacy. Across the water from the site is a wildlife sanctuary and you see lots of the wildlife it was very enjoyable. Also the location was centrally located to everything on Lake Leelanau and the northeastern side of Lake Michigan.
My family of four (plus one small dog) loved this place! The location was ideal for us traveling to the Dunes, Glen Arbor, Traverse City and more! The place was big enough for the four of us and very clean. The town was super cute and you could walk to various restaurants to eat, coffee shop and grocery store. My kids loved that there was an ice cream place literally next door. We had a great time!
Cute cottage right on the Narrows! Great location with walkability to stores, restaurants, and coffee shops. Added bonus, water toy rental located on the premises. Thanks Hilary for an enjoyable stay!
This property was a perfect get away for the weekend! So many amenities and great communication with the owners! The cottage is less than 10 min from downtown Leland and perfect for a nice getaway! Everything was clean and ready for guests! I will definitely be back!
The property owner and staff were all very friendly and kind and very helpful. The little town was wonderful. All the people were so friendly and the food was good and all the little restaurants around great experience… mostly we got the rest and peacefulness we need it.♥️ Thank you, Hilary

Good location but unsatisfactory stay
The location was great. Appreciated the setting. But We had to leave a night earlier because the inside was over 90 degrees and we could not sleep in the heat. It was also odd that a family camped out right outside of the window.
We traveled as grandparents with three children 9 and under. The location was perfect. The kids loved having the large property to run around and play. Their favorite was fishing off the dock and walking to get ice cream every day. Sleeping was sufficient for the five of us. We did not need to try out the AC as it was a little chilly. One thing we missed was a washer and dryer. A small suggestion would be for somewhere to hang out wet towels to dry. Thank you Hilary!
Hillary is a great host! My family and I stayed for the weekend of the Bayshore Marathon. My cousin was training for that marathon when she was hit and killed while running and we all came to partake in the marathon in her memory. Hillary was so compassionate to my family and knew my cousin. Our stay was emotional but having the ease of two homes together right by the water was wonderful. We enjoyed evenings by the fire pit and told stories and ate s’mores. It was so healing for us all to be together. We enjoyed time out on the water on the pontoon boat and the shallows we unbelievable! Thank you Hillary for being so kind to our family during this difficult time. It was EXACTLY what we all needed.

Lovely cozy cottage with great location
We stayed here with my brother and sister-in-law in late October and loved it. The kitchen is a bit small for any substantial cooking, but it is nice to have the option for eating in. (Recommend Leelanau Pie & Pastry for great quiches, stuffed croissants and more breakfast goodies you can warm up!) Has a great fireplace and living room, which is a whole lot nicer than sitting in a hotel room at night! The two bedrooms were very adequate, as was the bathroom. Although we didn't use the dock or the waterfront in late October, it looked absolutely spectacular. Hillary is fantastically helpful and recommended great activities/places to eat. This location is very convenient to Leland, Sutton's Bay, Glenn Arbor and more....it's a quiet, out of the way spot but easy to navigate to and from for activities. The fall color is nothing short of spectacular in this area, and there are a lot of great hiking trails with amazing scenery. Loved it!
Stayed in the loft for a week. Plenty of room for my husband and myself. Loft was very clean and had everything we needed. There is no oven but has a microwave and a two burner stove. This was fine for us. Pretty scenery from our deck and was able to sit and watch the boats go by in the narrows. The staff at the little marina was very helpful and answered all our questions. Rented a pontoon boat for 2 days and was able to fish and enjoy the lake. The village of Leelanau is small and quiet but centrally located between Sleeping Bear Dunes Park and Traverse City. Never drove more than 30 minutes to anywhere we wanted to go. Did lots of hiking and some bike riding at Sleeping Bears Dune Park very beautiful. Bike trails are in good condition and mostly paved. Hilary the owner was very nice and easy to work with. He met us when we got there and explained everything to us. We usually saw him at least once a day out by the marina. Would stay in the loft again.
An absolutely wonderful place to rest before or after a day of touring. The property is updated inside and out.
The beds were comfy and clean, the kitchen was well stocked and clean, and the bathroom was also clean. There is new beautiful decking, nice outdoor waterside seating, and a great firepit we cooked over. The small town of Lake Leelanau was having a festival while we were there and their small eateries were very tasty. You will not regret a stay here!
It was a good experience. Property owner makes sure you have what you need to experience what the area has to offer. Really enjoyed using the fire pit and the nighttime skies. (Musty smell but lighting candle that was provided helped)
