Relaxing retreat

We had a wonderful stay at this quaint property in the peaceful countryside. The home had unique character, plenty of space, and offered all the amenities to feel comfortable and enjoy our time away. Just a 10-15 minute drive around beautiful Otsego Lake to get to downtown Cooperstown, the Hall of Fame, Doubleday Field, and shopping. Glimmerglass Park is only 5 minutes away and worth the visit. Check out the covered bridge, beach, clear water, and picnic area with gorgeous surroundings while there. We encountered a power outage after a storm and our hosts were in touch with us immediately. They were exceedingly accommodating and responsive. Will definitely stay here again the next time we visit.

Nice quiet location

We enjoyed staying here, except there are no doors on any of the bedrooms except the master on the upper floor. This house needs some work. It is very uneven, when washing clothes the washing machine moves across the bedroom on the spin cycle because of the homes unevenness, but that just gave it character. The master bedroom bed is very stained up, so we had to purchase a blow up mattress and we slept on the living room floor. They must of just mowed the grass that day, so grass was tracked in and out of the house (even though no shoes were allowed in the home) overall the house was very charming and quiet. Really enjoyed our stay. Cooperstown is a cute little town.

Great House

Clean house with everything as advertised. Nice quiet spot that is very close to Glimmerglass State Park. We used this as a home base to explore Cooperstown and found it to be convenient and spacious enough for 2 adults and 4 kids. Highly recommend, would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful, peaceful, idyllic setting

Tiltmore is a lovely, peaceful, beautiful property with breathtaking views. We saw fireflies for the first time in years. Early in the morning my husband enjoyed watching squirrels, birds, and even a groundhog trapse across the yard. My son and daughter-in-law caught the sunrise our first morning there. The property owners did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable. They even set us up with a generator when mother nature decided to turn off the power for a while. Thank you for a lovely stay. We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a beautiful, quiet, peaceful get-away.

Tranquil Oasis: A Perfect Countryside Escape!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming country property, and I cannot recommend it highly enough! From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted by the picturesque surroundings and the warm, welcoming atmosphere. The property itself is beautifully maintained, offering all the comforts of home with the added bonus of stunning rural views. Our accommodations were spotless and tastefully decorated, making us feel immediately at ease. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a day of exploring the countryside. The hosts were exceptional, providing us with helpful local tips and ensuring we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. Their hospitality truly made our experience special. The location is ideal for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. We enjoyed scenic walks, visits to nearby attractions and simply relaxing in the tranquil environment. In summary, our stay at this country property exceeded all expectations. We left feeling refreshed and rejuvenated, already planning our next visit. Golf event getaway

The house is so charming, interesting , well equipped and in a great location just outside of the busy Cooperstown “ downtown. The house was exceptionally clean (always a huge plus), and had everything we could possibly need for our stay. Comfortable beds and plush towels which always make for a comfortable relaxing stay.

Perfect for our family!

Our young family of 4 needed a cost-effective place with space for all within close proximity to Cooperstown. The 3-bedroom “Tiltmore” is aptly named - the slight tilt throughout is enough to notice but not enough to disrupt/impact. The large bathroom, open concept kitchen/dining room, large private upstairs bedroom with sitting space, and scenic outdoor spaces met all of our needs in rustic, character-filled cottage charm! We so enjoyed the cow and star gazing, evenings on the back deck while our boys played catch in the yard, drinking coffee on the covered front porch as marathon runners waved to us on their way to Glimmer Glass, and 10-minute scenic drives along the lake to the Baseball Hall of Fame. Expect CHOCOLATE upon arrival; an unfinished, unpretentious, country cottage aesthetic that is practical, comfortable, and cathartic; and the best stay for budget-minded families that want to walk through picturesque/straight out of a magazine Cooperstown, NY. We will be back - if Michael and Karin will have us!

Quiet country setting

Coming in at night we didn’t appreciate the scenery, but the next morning was stunning. Please note this is an old house, and definitely lives up to its Tiltmore name. Very clean, great communication the owners. Sitting out on the front porch every car that drove by waved. It was a short 10-15 minute drive into Cooperstown. This was my third trip to Cooperstown, and definitely my favorite stay. Say hi to the cows but stay away from the electric fence. Highly recommend.

Delightful trip to baseball Mecca

The hosts were very accommodating to our needs. House is quaint. Snow storm in April was a bit of a challenge, but again the hosts were GREAT! Side note, must stop in Sharon at the Brimstone Bakery on your way back to wherever you're going!

Great value

This is an older property but very clean. It's a short 10+ min drive to the heart of Cooperstown. Perfect for what we needed. Beautiful farmland area and close to Glimmerglass state park. Karin is very accommodating and easy to communicate with. Hope to come back and stay here next fall. (Karin, I had hoped to leave a gift for hospitality but ran out of time.. sorry!)

Beautiful Farm Getaway

We booked this property as a place for my parents to spend time with our daughter while my husband and I were in a wedding in Cooperstown. The house was a great size for our group and was a beautiful drive to the Farmers Museum about 20 minutes away. Cows all around the property were so fun to see and the quiet road was very serene.

A Quiet Peaceful Getaway

Comfort, peace and quiet. Very pleased with our stay. We enjoyed our downtime listening to what nature provided with our coffee each morning on the front porch. Loved seeing the cattle and hearing the geese fly overhead. All of the daily needed essentials are provided for cooking, TV entertainment and plenty of towels. Prompt communication from Karin to address any concerns. Our daily destinations were easily reached from this farmhouse and would definitely stay again. Thank you Karin.
