Sit on your balcony and watch the Emerald Green waves roll in almost within reach. The smells and sounds of The Gulf will be ever present! Gulf Winds East #3 sleeps 8. 2 Queen size beds, 2 Twin size beds, 1 sleeper sofa. Sunday to Sunday rental during the peak season. Only one parking spot available per condo. Canopies or tents are not allowed on this beach. Beach chairs and umbrellas are available to rent from the attendant.

Destin, Florida is known as "the worlds luckiest fishing village", but we do not stop there! The whitest beaches of Florida and the Emerald Green waters are unmatched. Shop in an outlet mall, an upscale outdoor mall, or one of many boutique stores. When you are through shopping, there are endless places to enjoy the local fare or just get a quick bite. Don't forget about our water park, amusement parks, and our dozens of golf courses.

Superb location and views

The unit's location to the beach could only be beat by being at a house on the sand. It was clean and has a spacious living area upstairs. The only problem is that the only way to access the unit when it's locked is from the front door, but parking is in the back, so you have to walk around to the front of the building. Besides that the facility is nice. We would love to stay here again!

The condo is conveniently located right across the street from the beach with private access. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, including a crockpot, which made for easy meal prep and more beach time. The beach decor throughout the condo is a little over the top but you can tell the owners love this home. The new couches and recliner are beautiful but the recliner is in the wrong spot to watch the TV. The dresser drawers are also getting hard to open. The new shades are a great improvement and when one came off its roller, Harmony maintenance was there to fix it immediately. We appreciated the late checkout, too!

When we first came in. It was very comfortable. We had a whole view of the beach which all my friends and family liked. and whenever they would go to sleep on the couch that converts to a bed while watching the TV. He said that it was a amazing!

No regrets!

This location hit the spot with three teenage boys. They could walk down to the beach, restaurants, etc. The beach and private entrance is literally within view of the porch. The unit had so much seating and is well stocked with everything you would need (except an air fryer) 😄. Plenty of towels and extras, like boogie boards and beach chairs. The neighborhood pool was on the backside. We will definitely be back again soon.

A super location for access to the beach and fantastic heated pool after dipping in on the beach when the temps were cool for December. Since we stayed about a week, maybe having a few more laundry and dishwasher packets would have been helpful. The amount of dishes to choose from for cooking were great, but maybe could benefit from some staples in the house like cooking spray, foil and seasonings. The beds were comfortable and the sheets were nice and clean. We did need to do laundry so it was nice to have the washer and dryer. Sitting on each porch with the provided furniture was great too. Would definitely recommend and would come again.

We had to hang sheets up in the bedrooms because the blinds were broken and missing panels. But this is a minor complaint. Maybe get curtains for this unit. Because we love staying in this unit ever year!! :-)

BEWARE ROACH INFESTATION

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The place was beautiful and close to the beach but, once we noticed there is a terrible infestation of roaches. Small ones and big ones! It made our skin crawl. We ate at home several times and didn’t notice it till the last night. Had to throw everything out. I had brought my own coffee machine it had to be trashed with fear of bringing back bugs to my home. If I could add pictures/videos to this review I would.

The smell was so bad in the apartment. Was scared to sit in the kitchen chairs they seemed like they was gonna fall apart. We have stayed her for the past 6 years and will never do it again. We will be finding a new place to stay.

Location was great.

Location was great. The AC went out in the condo and was 82 in there. Only option was to split Us up and move us 2 miles down the rd but only for 1 night, then have to pack it all back up and move to another condo yet again. We stayed in the hot condo for 2 night waiting to be moved to a condo we could all stay in. No mention of reimbursing or giving us any credit at all for the miserable nights in the condo. Once moved for the last two nights it was much better but I would have thought they would have done something for the fact the AC went out and we had two solid nights of 82 in the condo! The master bedroom bed was pretty bad. It says in the middle and you roll to it. The location is fantastic. We were loved to the condo next door and it was a lot nicer inside.

The owners made sure to have everything you could possibly need inside of the home (beach chairs, boogie boards, gas grill, even a box fan.. ect..) The location was great and it had a nice view. It felt like home :-) I will definitely be staying there again!

Vacation during Covid 19

The people that actually live at Gulf Winds were very rude to us because of us being there during Coronavirus. We self quarantined and followed the rules! My grandkids did great. The condo was nice only complaint I have is that the living room furniture needs replaced..very uncomfortable. Suggestion also is two of the chairs on oceanview were nice..the taller ones. Others two low to the ground.Overall the weather was what made the vacation!!!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Yes, location was amazing a few feet to the beach. I love Florida. The condo for us was just average, but the price was through the roof for the amenities. The ac was barely able to keep up with the demand. There were strict instructions on what not to do with ac, not set it below a certain temp, and we followed instructions. On our 2nd to last day we noticed that the closet in the "master room" was flooded. Not sure why, but probably because of AC unit. The beds wore absolutley horrible, some of the worst nights sleep we experienced there, so thankful to wake up by the beach though. The list of instructions had numerous things for us to do on our depature, which did not make sense to us considering the already in place cleaning fee, but we obliged. Overall experience of the rental was poor, will not stay here again, but will be back to Florida same time again nect year.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: THIS IS ACTUALLY A GREAT PLACE TO STAY. THEY HAVE MANY UNITS AND THEY ARE VERY CLEAN AND A GREAT LOCATION. THE ONLY DOWNSIDE TO UNIT 3 IS THE KITCHEN AND LIVING ROOM IS UPSTAIRS SO WHEN YOU COME IN THE CONDO YOU ARE TRACKING SAND IN OR NEAR THE BEDROOM AREA WHICH IS DOWN STAIRS. OTHERWISE NO COMPLAINTS
